임펄스 잡음 환경에서 영상 복원에 관한 연구 (A Study on Image Restoration in Impulse Noise Environments)

  • 영상신호 처리 시스템의 전송 과정에서 여러 가지 원인으로 영상의 열화가 발생하고 있으며 열화의 주된 원인은 노이즈에 의한 것으로 알려져 있다. 임펄스 잡음환경에 의해 훼손된 영상의 잡음을 제거하는 대표적인 방법은 SM필터가 많이 사용되고 있으며 이 필터는 영상의 에지영역에서 특성이 저하되는 경향이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 임펄스 잡음 환경에서 에지 특성을 고려한 영상을 복원하기 위해 마스크의 형태 및 임펄스 잡음 확률을 이용한 비선형 필터를 제안하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 방법들과 그 성능을 비교하였다.

  • 전력선통신 시스템에서는 전력망을 활용한 통신 방식을 사용하기 때문에 일반적 통신선로를 활용한 통신 방식에 비해 잡음이 많고, 이것으로 인한 성능 저하가 문제가 되고 있다. 이러한 잡음으로 인한 성능 저하를 완화시키기 위해, 본 논문에서는 전력선통신 시스템에서의 임펄스 잡음 환경에서 신호를 검출하는 인공지능 알고리즘을 제안한다. 다항식 회귀법을 이용하여 임펄스 잡음 신호의 원신호를 예측하고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 인공지능 알고리즘을 적용한 전력선통신 시스템에서 임펄스 잡음 환경내 신호 검출 성능 향상을 입증한다.

A Mixed Nonlinear Filter for Image Restoration under AWGN and Impulse Noise Environment

  • Image denoising is a key issue in all image processing researches. Generally, the quality of an image could be corrupted by a lot of noise due to the undesired conditions of image acquisition phase or during the transmission. Many approaches to image restoration are aimed at removing either Gaussian or impulse noise. Nevertheless, it is possible to find them operating on the same image, which is called mixed noise and it produces a hard damage. In this paper, we proposed noise type classification method and a mixed nonlinear filter for mixed noise suppression. The proposed filtering scheme applies a modified adaptive switching median filter to impulse noise suppression and an efficient nonlinear filer was carried out to remove Gaussian noise. The simulation results based on Matlab show that the proposed method can remove mixed Gaussian and impulse noise efficiently and it can preserve the integrity of edge and keep the detailed information.

  • The road traffic noise becomes aggravated due to the rapid increase of motor vehicles. It has a great effect ell the dwelling environment. We Investigated characteristics and sources of the motor vehicle noise through grasping the status of the motor vehicle noise. Traffic noise results from the collective contribution of the noise produced by individual motor vehicles. The motor vehicle noise varies enormously depending upon its type and mode of operation. This Paper is concerned with the relationship between the vehicle running speed and the noise level under accelerated and steady running.

  • These days, the damage of noise has increased seriously by rapid change of life style because of the centralization of urban population, and the rapid increase of traffic. The Ministry of Environment has emphasis on the systematic management about the noise of daily life and the close connection of daily noise management policy with relevant ministries, and put into practice "the master plan of lessening the noise of daily life" from year 2006. This study tried to find out the reduction methods and the effective management of railway noise in the action plan of railway part of "the master plan of lessening the noise of daily life". According to this study, railway noise can be reduced greatly by taking action of railway detail plans. The cause of railway noise varies by rolling stock, track and more, so the reduction methods of railway noise can be studied specially, scientifically and constantly in every field.

  • Floor impact noises in apartment buildings have been investigated as they are most annoying in living environment. Several experiments were undertaken to compare perceived noisiness of floor impact noises generated by bang and tapping machine along with children's jumping and running. Results show that bang noise is more annoying than tapping noise and floor impact noise generated by children is less annoying than the noise generated by machine. The floor impact noise generated by children's jumping and running corresponds well with the bang-machine noise in terms of loudness, unbiased annoyance, ${\Phi}$$\_$0/ and IACC. The noise generated by children is somewhat different from machine noise; in spatial impression the real noise is similar to tapping-machine noise but is less annoying that the machine noises.

  • With the improvement of living quality, people's desire for quiet living environment keeps increasing. In particular, complaints about the noise emission by constrcution equipments around residential areas take most part of the noise related complaints. In this study, noise marking obligation system for the high noise construction equipment have been proposed to reduce the noise level and protect the well-being of citizens. For this purpose, construction equipment used in the country were surveyed and compared with that of the European Directive/2000/14/EC. As results, 20 kinds of construction equipment were proposed for the obligated noise marking, while 13 kinds of construction equipment were proposed for the equipment subject to permissible noise level, thus the obligated noise marking and certification.

  • When the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of an development project is performed, the noise prediction model is used to evaluate the noise impact and prepare the noise reduction measures according to the implementation of an development project. Especially, the application of a 3-d noise prediction model is increased to describe the complex noise environment including high-rise living accommodations. Therefore, this paper suggests the application plan of a 3-d noise predicton model for the road noise impact assessment of a development project.

  • The railroad noise has been considered as one of environment pollution and complaints about it have been increasing every year. Therefore, the establishment of railroad noise monitoring network is necessary. It will be designed for monitoring railroad noise, storing data of railroad noise continuously and providing the fundamental knowledge for the measures of railroad noise. For this, we investigated the actual condition and status of railroad noise according to distance around Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, and Busan. This paper shows the basic data that will be used for predicting the noise level near railroad in the environmental impact assessment.

  • Road traffic noise barriers being used to reduce the noise, but the city surroundings inhibition, ecosystem disturbance, and it is difficult to maintain. Can enhance or complement the existing noise barrier performance, so that it is necessary to develop an electronic noise-reduction system In this paper, we proposed an electronic road noise reduction devices to reduce road noise for a DSP-based signal processing and analog signal input-output controller. In order to verify the control performance, we performed noise reduction experimentation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and traffic noise signal injection. The controller is equipped with noise reduction algorithms were tested on the characteristics of directional and omnidirectional speaker.
