Recently, number of intentional jamming has increased significantly. If GNSS jammers are activated, user receivers can be largely influenced due to the vulnerable characteristic of the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) signal. When the reception power of the jamming signal and that of the navigation signal are similar, the C/A (Coarse Acquisition) chip delay error can occur in the delay locked loop. To evaluate the jamming effect, a new measurement model is formulated based on previous research works. The new model explains how the jamming to signal ratio affects the ranging measurement accuracy and other parameters. To evaluate the validity of the newly formulated model, the experiment results of the previous research works under actual jamming environment are utilized. By evaluating the consistency of the carrier-to-noise ratio (C/N0) and the position error with the actual jamming environment, the validity of the newly formulated model is verified.

Among the various microwaves, the microwaves that we are using in our life are the things that combined with the information on what we need with various technologies. However, the signals that we do not want to get as an information is just noise. Therefore, we need to collect only the necessary information, and other information needs to be blocked. This technology is called Jamming. In this paper, the Partial-Band Jamming System through the Helical Antenna about target 95.1 and 97.3MHz in 88Mhz to 108MHz of the FM radio frequency band was studied.

In anti-jamming GPS receiver, adaptive signal processing techniques in which the radiation pattern of adaptive array antenna of elements may be adaptively changed used to reject interference, clutter, and jamming signals. In this paper, I describes adaptive signal processing technique using the sample matrix inversion(SMI) algorithm. This adaptive signal processing technique can be applied effectively to wideband/narrowband anti-jamming GPS receiver because it does not consider the satellite signal directions and GPS signal power level exists below the thermal noise. I also analyzed the effects of covariance matrix sample size and diagonal loading technique on the system performance of five-element circular array antenna. To attain near optimum performance, more samples required for calculation covariance matrix. Diagonal loading technique reduces the system nulling capability against low-power jamming signals, but this technique improves robustness of adaptive array antenna.

This paper proposes a repeat-back jamming signal detection scheme using a correlation ratio test metric of a combined pseudo-random noise signal for global navigation satellite systems. The correlation ratio test metric allows for the monitoring of possible distortions in the signal correlation. The proposed scheme is a modified version of the correlation ratio test metric to detect a repeat-back jamming signal in a multipath environment. Through a Monte-Carlo simulation, it is confirmed that the proposed scheme detects almost the whole case, which is received a repeat-back jamming signal under the 6 dB jamming to signal power ratio.

A monopulse based on maximum likelihood(ML) in jamming scenario can suppress jamming signal using an inverse matrix of a covariance matrix. In order to achieve adequate suppression of jamming signal, the sufficient number of snapshots is required. However, this is not possible in high PRF scenario, which hinders a real-time tracking. Moreover, even with the large number of snapshots, the estimation accuracy of the target direction is decreased in low JNR(Jammer to Noise Ratio) due to insufficient jammer suppression. In this paper, we propose a monopulse algorithm that doesn't degrade performance significantly with a small number of snapshots and in low JNR. We show its derivation that exploits noise-jammer subspace of a covariance matrix, along with its performance through simulation.

Positioning system using satellite GPS is used at positioning, navigation, acquisition time information and other various field and taking an important part precision guided weapon such as missile. But commercial code(C/A code) do not have ECCM. Therefore commercial code is vulnerable to various jamming techniques and noise jamming from near station can attack even the encrypted military code(P code) GPS. In this paper, GPS jamming techniques, North Korean GPS jamming cases and anti-jamming GP S technologies are surveyed and described.
Accurate suppressive jamming is a prominent problem faced by radar equipment. It is difficult to solve signal detection problems for extremely low signal to noise ratios using traditional signal processing methods. In this study, a joint sensing dictionary based compressed sensing and adaptive iterative optimization algorithm is proposed to counter suppressive jamming in information domain. Prior information of the linear frequency modulation (LFM) and suppressive jamming signals are fully used by constructing a joint sensing dictionary. The jamming sensing dictionary is further adaptively optimized to perfectly match actual jamming signals. Finally, through the precise reconstruction of the jamming signal, high detection precision of the original LFM signal is realized. The construction of sensing dictionary adopts the Pei type fast fractional Fourier decomposition method, which serves as an efficient basis for the LFM signal. The proposed adaptive iterative optimization algorithm can solve grid mismatch problems brought on by undetermined signals and quickly achieve higher detection precision. The simulation results clearly show the effectiveness of the method.
This paper describes the jamming effect of phase-coded pulse compression(PCPC) radar. Barker code radar, a typical PCPC radar, separates transmission pulses into 13 or 31 small pulses and phase modulates and transmits each pulse signal to increase radar detection efficiency and reduce the influence of jamming. Generally, when the radar is subjected to jamming, the detection distance becomes shorter and the detection error rate becomes higher. In the case of noise jamming or carrier jamming on the PCPC radar, the jamming effect is very small for no phase-coded convergence. However, the jamming effect is large in the case of synchronous jamming using the pulse-coded signal as a jamming signal with DRFM. It can be seen that the jamming effect increases when the storage time of the pulse-coded signal is prolonged. This study is considered to be useful for PCPC radar and EW jamming system design.

This paper proposes a novel code-tracking scheme to track the fine code synchronization for BOC (pn,n)-modulated global navigation satellite system signals in a repeat-back jamming environment. The correlation function of BOC (pn,n)-modulated signals has several peaks. The correlation function in the advanced offset region remains almost unchanged due to the repeat-back signals being received later than a line-of-sight signal in the same multipath signal receiving case. Additionally, the combined pseudo-random noise signal can be treated as repeat-back jamming signals, like multipath signals. In this paper, we propose a novel code-tracking scheme utilizing the advantages of using a combined pseudo-random noise signal in the advanced offset region and verify its performance through simulation.
These anti-jamming GPS systems are verified using large anechoic chamber or field-test until now. When using a large anechoic chamber, Independent verification from external enviroments like noise is an advantage but high cost and availability of chamber are disadvantages. And in case of field test, verification under real propagation enviroment is an advantage but security problem of military equipments and problem of making same test condition are disadvantages. This paper presents an newly developed anti-jamming GPS test system. This test system mainly consists of small anechoic chamber, jamming divider, jamming signal generator and satellite simulator. The small anechoic chamber is installed many jamming antennas to transmit multi jamming signals and the jamming divider is newly developed to control multi jamming signals. According to self performance test and combined test with Anti-jamming GPS receiver, we verified our system's reliability.
