  • In close to downtown construction, the main problem is complaints caused by blasting vibration and noise. To reduce blasting vibration and noise, deck-charge blasting method using electronic detonator can be more secure because there is no cut-off problem. And in this method it is possible to blast in horizontal direction. In this study, the efficiency of horizontal direction deck-charge blasting method using electronic detonator is compared to that of the existing blasting method. And the possibility of applying the construction site is evaluated. As a result, the reduction of blasting vibration, noise and secondary breaking has been determined, as well as large-scale blasting in the vibration criterion can be regulated by the overall increase in blasting efficiency.

  • In Brushless DC Motor, there are Permanent Magnets (PMs) with driving circuit and sensor for detecting to rotor position and rotation speed. In the case of using hall IC sensor which response to magnetic flux, that is required to additional sensor magnet for rotor position detecting. Most of BLDC motor, However, take asymmetrical overhang of PM in rotor instead of additional sensor magnet for operating of hall IC sensor. The asymmetrical overhang of PM occur rotor thrust to z-axis direction that is lead to not only damage of bearing but also intensive noise and vibration. Therefore, the analysis of magnet overhang effect in the side of vibration and drive to hall If sensor is required to precise. In this paper, 2-D Finite Element Method is used to solve precise field computation and thrust of z-axis direction considering asymmetrical magnet overhang. And also the z-axis thrust from the analysis result is compared to experimental result. In conclusion, the purpose of this paper minimize to noise and vibration of BLDC Motor as analyzes to asymmetrical magnet overhang effect.

  • This study receives the noise transmitted in a constant audio frequency range through a microphone array in which the noise(like grease in a pan) occurs on the power supply line due to the troublesome partial discharge(arc). Then by going through a series of signal processing of removing noise, this study measures the distance and direction up to the noise caused by the troublesome partial discharge(arc) and monitors the result by displaying in the analog and digital method. After these, it determines the state of each size and judges the distance and direction of problematic part. When the signal sound transmitted by the signal source of bad insulator is received on each microphone, the signal comes only in the frequency range of 20 kHz by passing through the circuit of amplification and 6th low pass filter. Then, this signal is entered in a digital value of digital signal processing(TMS320F2812) through the 16-bit A/D conversion. By doing so, the sound distance, direction and coordinate of bad insulator can be detected by realizing the correlation method of detecting the arriving time difference occurring on each microphone and the algorithm of detecting maximum time difference.

  • Abnormal cab vibrations in the Y direction in commercial vehicles during driving(70~90kph) are not common vibrations that happen to vehicles during driving and can be an obstacle to normal driving. This study conducted Operation Deflection Shape(ODS) testing to identify the causes of those abnormal cab vibrations and find solutions for them and also a sine sweep test to find resonance and frequency in the cab suspension system and set directions for improvement. The study also altered the shape of the bush inner part for changes to the rigidity features of the cab bush in the Y direction and revised the design with optimal rigidity in the Y direction, thus improving abnormal cab vibrations in the Y direction during driving.

  • In order to maintain comfortable life environment around railroad site, noise from train itself, and to train & rail interaction, and the vibration transmitted through the ground should be controlled to the extent of permissible level. In order to achieve this, the basic railroad noise & vibration data such as magnitude and frequency characteristics of them are necessary to establish the counterplan for railroad noise & vibration. In this study, we measured and analysed the characteristics of time variation, frequency, direction and distance attenuation of noise and vibration of the railroad between Seoul and Pusan.

  • Seated human subjects have been exposed to vertical vibration so as to investigate six-axis biodynamic response. Sixteen males were exposed to random vertical vibration in the frequency range(3~40Hz) at one vibration magnitude(0.224m/$s^2$ r.m.s.). Forces were measured in the vertical, fore-and-aft, lateral, roll, pitch and yaw direction on the seat. The median of cross-axis apparent mass magnitude in the fore-and-aft direction could reach up to 20% of the apparent mass magnitude at resonance frequency. And the median of apparent eccentric mass magnitude in the roll direction could reach up to 15% of the apparent eccentric mass magnitude in the pitch direction at resonance frequency. But cross-axis apparent mass in the lateral direction and apparent eccentric mass in the yaw direction showed very small.

  • This paper describes the kinematics, dynamics and control of a 6-DOF shaking table with a bell crank structure, which converts the direction of reciprocating movements. In this shaking table, the bell crank mechanism is used to reduce the amount of space needed to install the shaking table and create horizontal displacement of the platform. In kinematics, joint design is performed using $Gr{\ddot{u}}bler's$ formula. The inverse kinematics of the shaking table is discussed. The derivation of the Jacobian matrix is presented to evaluate singularity conditions. Considering the maximum stroke of the hydraulic actuator, collision between links and singularity, workspace is computed. In dynamics, computations are based on the Newton-Euler formulation. To derive parallel algorithms, each of the contact forces is decomposed into one acting in the direction of the leg and the other acting in the plane orthogonal to the direction of the leg. Applying the Newton-Euler approach, the solution of inverse dynamics is almost completely parallel. Only one of the steps-the application of the Newton-Euler equations to the platform-must be performed on one single processor. Finally, the efficient control scheme is proposed for the tracking control of the motion platform.
