고화질 TV Set의 음향 파워 레벨 측정 및 평가 어휘 선정에 관한 실험적 연구 - LCD·PDP TV Set를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Power Level Measurement and Evaluating Vocabulary of H.D. TV Sets -Focused on LCD·PDP Tv Sets-)

  • This experimental study deals with the characteristics of LCD or PDP TV set noise, which are differ form those of CRT TV set. These characteristics are most important for establishing the effective method to reduce noise level, searching for the appropriate exposure level and evaluation method of LCD or PDP TV set noise. This study adopt two measurement method to specify the power level of LCD or PDP TV set noise in anechoic room(ISO 3741) and reverberation room(ISO 3745) . Comparing with each results of the two method, the reverberation room method is more simple in measuring and calculating the power level. And the subjective response test are carried out to select the pair of appropriate adjectives to present the characteristics of LCD or PDP TV set noise. The pair of 17 adjectives are selected from the 168 adjectives which are used in presenting the sound and noise form literature.

  • For the accurate evaluation of traffic noise with various spectrums and fluctuation characteristics, evaluation systems should reflect not only physical quantities but also the psychological respects of individual persons. In this study, adequate words for evaluating traffic noise have been extracted by reviewing the existing vocabularies and augmenting this with the results of a questionnaire prepared especially for apartment dwellers. As a result of this study, followings are suggested. 1) Vocabularies such as 'disagreeable', 'annoying', 'strident', 'disturbed', 'irritate', 'unpleasant', 'dislike' are classified into the first factor by factor analysis. 2) As a result of surveying overlapping vocabularies for each sound sources, 'noisy', 'annoying', strident', 'unpleasant', 'loudness' are main unpleasant vocabularies to franc noise occurring in our domestic apartment houses.

청감실험을 통한 고화질 TV set 소음평가에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the noise Rating of H.D. TV sets by Psycho-acoustic Experiments)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the proper vocabularies for evaluating H.D TV set fan noise in residential condition. To achieve this goal, psycho-acoustic experiments were carried out with TV set fan noise modulated at specific frequency band. finally, a correlation analysis between vocabularies, and a factor analysis of psycho-acoustical responses were conducted. As a result of this study, followings are suggested. Analyzing the psycho-acoustical response corresponding to the various sound level, the higher the sound levels, the higher the response values were. It is estimated that the sound level determined psycho-acoustical responses. On the degree of response to fan noise, the initial level of negative feeling is located on $35{\sim}40$ dB(A). The factor of evaluating H.D. TV set fan noise has induced three the appropriate korean adjectives; Irritate, Monotonous, stuffy and dryness. The result of this study may be used to evaluate the acoustic threshold level for indoor noise or a basis for specifying the desired acoustic environment of dwellings.

평가방법을 고려한 공동주택 바닥충격음 평가어휘 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Proper Vocabularies for Evaluating Floor Impact Sound in Apartment Houses Considering Rating Methods)

  • In this study, the extracted words from the former study such as annoying, loud, noisy, irritating, disagreeable, strident, disturbed, and dissonant are given to subjects in psycho acoustic experiment lab. And then, correlation analysis between the words and floor impact noise rating method were carried out. As a result of this study followings are suggested ‘Annoying’ is the word most accurately expressing the subjects’ unpleasant feeling of domestic floor impact noise. The results of this study could be basic materials for psycho acoustic experiments for criteria on floor impact noise and Sound Classification on Floor Impact Sound Insulation Performance.

  • Recently, in accordance with the buildings are rapidly becoming to high-stories, large-sizes, and since the case that noise of equipment machinery, tool itself infringes the life environment is on increasing, this is becoming to the object of civil appeal. Accordingly, in order to set up a countermeasure against such equipment machinery noise, even a systemic evaluating method is required, up to now while the appraisal that considering on the physical characteristic only had been done, but the characteristic about subjective valuation was not reflected as yet. Therefore, in this research, through the 1st, 2nd Psycho-Acoustics Experiments, the 30 vocabularies were extracted for evaluation of the construction equipment noise. As the result of Element Analysis, the 3 Elements were extracted from these vocabularies, and it could be understood that these Elements have been trustfully selected. It is now considering that the extracted vocabularies as per the above result would be used to Psycho-Acoustic Evaluation on Equipment Noise, and Psycho-Acoustics Experiment.

Noise Elimination Using Improved MFCC and Gaussian Noise Deviation Estimation

  • 음성 인식 시스템의 지속적인 발전으로 음성에 대한 인식율은 급속도로 발전되었지만 사용 환경에서의 잡음과 여러 음성이 혼합되어 발생하는 잡음으로 정확한 음성을 인식할 수 없는 단점을 가진다. 환경 잡음이 있는 음성을 처리할 때 음성 인식률을 높이기 위해서는 잡음을 제거해야 하며, 기존의 HMM, CHMM, GMM, 그리고 AI 모델이 적용된 DNN에서도 예상치 못한 잡음이 발생하거나 기본적으로 디지털 신호에 양자화 잡음이 추가되면 소스 신호가 변경되거나 손상되어 인식률이 저하된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 각 음성 프레임에 대한 음성 신호의 특징을 효율적으로 추출하기 위해 MFCC를 개선하여 처리하였으며, 음성 신호에 대한 잡음을 제거하기 위해 가우시안 모델을 적용한 잡음 편차 추정을 이용한 잡음 제거 방법을 개선하여 적용하였다. 제안된 모델에 대한 성능 평가는 음성에 대한 정확성 평가를 위해 교차 상관 계수를 사용하여 처리하였으며, 제안하는 방법의 인식률을 평가한 결과 이들에 대한 상관 계수에 대한 평균값 차이는 0.53 dB 개선된 것을 확인하였다.
