유도전동기의 스위칭 주파수대 소음 저감을 위한 실시간 RPWM 인버터 (A Real-Time RPWM Inverter for Reduction of Switching Frequency Band Noise in the Induction Motor)

  • RPWM(Random Pulse Width Modulation)은 인버터의 스위칭 주파수를 랜덤(random)하게 변화시킴으로써 고조파 및 소음의 파워 스펙트럼을 광대역에 분산시켜 사람이 불쾌하게 느낄 수 있는 전자기적 가청 소음을 줄이기 위한 PWM 기법으로써 근래에 매우 각광받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 삼각파(반성파, carrier wave)의 주파수를 랜덤하게 변화시키는 방식의 RPWM에 의한 인버터 유도전동기 구동 장치를 구성하였다. 무항실에서 실험 측정한 소음의 파워 스펙트럼으로부터, 소음원에 대한 분석과 삼각파 주파수 변화 폭에 따른 스위칭 주파수대 소음의 저감 효과를 분석하였다. 고속의 DSP TMS320C31을 사용하여 속도 제어와 더불어 RPWM이 실시간적으로 가능하도록 하여, 부하 조건이 다양하게 변화하는 구동 장치에서도 삼각파 주파수의 중심 주파수 및 대역폭을 자유롭게 변화시킴으로써 효과적으로 스위칭 주파수대 가청 소음을 저감하였다.

  • VLBI(Very Long Baseline Interferometer)에서 요구되는 고위상 안정도를 갖는 국부발진기를 사용하여 초저잡음 Q-band우주 전파 수신기를 개발하였다. 냉각용 HEMT 중폭기를 사용하여, 관측 주파수 범위인 420㎓에서 44㎓까지의 대역폭에서는 65K정도의 수신기 잡음 온도를 얻었으며, 390㎓ -46㎓의 대역폭에서는 l00k 이하의 잡음 온도를 얻었다. SiO분자선 관측이 주된 목적이며, 이 대역에서 얻어진 수신기 잡음온도는 독일$.$일본 전파천문대에서 개발된 수신기보다 우수한 성능을 나타낸다.

KU-BAND 저 위상잡음 주파수 합성기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Low Phase Noise Frequency Synthesizer Design for Ku-Band)

  • In the proposed paper, we designed low phase noise frequency synthesizer for Ku-band. The proposed up-mixing frequency synthesizer consists of narrow local oscillation part and variable frequency oscillation part. To improve the phase noise of frequency synthesizer, we analyze how the configuration of frequency synthesizer affect the phase noise. The implemented frequency synthesizer reduce the phase noise. The phase noise is -95.18dBc/Hz at 7kHz frequency offset in 16GHz and -94.27dBc/Hz at 7kHz frequency offset in 16.125GHz.

  • For this study, in order to reduce a measuring error. author used a portable radio mise measuring and processing equipment especially designed. The time & frequency characteristics of HF band radio noise fran the sample site in Yeungnam region had been accomplished and statistical analysis carried out at the site. The results had been compared with the distribution chart of an atmospheric noise :indicated in the CCIR Report 322 issue. It showed that type of a measured noise distribution was similiar to that of the report but the man-made noise had a remarkable effect on the characteristic curves of HF band radio noise about the site.

  • In this paper, the performance for FH/CPFSK system with limiter-discriminator detection and integrage-and-dump post-detection filtering under thermal noie, partial-band noise jamming and rayleigh fading have been analyzed. The method of hard-decision diversity of which the transmitter repeated L times on different hops for each data symbol in a way to mutigate the effects of the jamming has been applied, and the receiver has been combined the L chips. Also, error-correcting code have been applied for improving performance of system. The thermal noise and partial-band noise jamming, intersymbol interference for all eight of the possible adjacent bit data patterns, and FM noise click for evaluating systems have been considered. Also optimum parameters to improve performance of FH/CPFSK system have been obtained and validities have been proved through computer simulation.

  • A new method for the simulation of the vehicle's interior road noise is proposed in the present study. The road noise model can synthesize road noise of a vehicle for varying driving speed within a range. In the proposed method, interior road noise is considered as a stochastic time-series, and is modeled by a nonstationary parametric model via two steps. First, each interior road noise signal, obtained from constant speed driving tests performed within a range of speed, is modeled as an autoregressive model whose parameters are estimated by using a standard method. Finally, the parameters obtained for different driving speeds are interpolated based on the varying driving speed to yield a time-varying autoregressive model. To model a full band road noise, audible frequency range is divided into an octave band using a wavelet filter bank, and the road noise in each octave band is modeled.

  • Current Optical Disk drive is dominating high share gradually in information storage device market through development of great skill. These technologies can achieve not only improvement of transmission speed but also elevation of recording/reproduction technology. However, these present state cause not only the increase of vibration in structural viewpoint but also problem of serious noise while the ODD becomes high speed/high performance. Specially, air-born noise is being bigger than structural-born noise as disk rotation speed increases gradually. The object of this research is that reduce the air-born noise in optical disk drive by reducing a quantity of flow by using a miniaturized muffler. The micro muffler is a miniaturized muffler. The muffler is used widely by solution to reduce air-born noise which is generated by flow. According to frequency band of the noise source, it can be applied by muffler of various forms. In this research, we examined the noise characteristics of the micro muffler and applied it by noise reduction solution of the ODD. It could get an excellent noise reduction in high frequency band by using the micro muffler than the opened case through the decrease of an inner flow. But it could not get a noise reduction in low frequency band through the decrease of an inner flow.

  • As high performance and high speed have been accomplished by technology of optical disk drive. optical disk drives have gradually high percentage of the market share in market of storage devices. This technology helps to improve the quality of record/reproduction. However, simultaneously it causes various problems in the structural aspect and increases noise largely. Especially at high speed, dominant noise is more influenced by fluid noise than by structure-borne noise. The purpose of this study is that reduce the air-born noise in optical disk drive as it decreases a quantity of flow by using a micro muffler. The micro muffler is a miniaturized muffler. The muffler is used widely by solution to reduce air-borne noise which is generated by flow. According to frequency band of the noise source, it can be applied by muffler of various forms. In this study, we examined the acoustic characteristics of the micro muffler and applied it to reduction of the ODD noise. It could get an excellent noise reduction in high frequency band through the decrease of an inner flow. But it could not get a noise reduction in low frequency band.

  • 본 논문은 밀접한 간격의 두 개의 마이크 배열 환경에서 SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) 추정을 통한 잡음 억제 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 방법은 전 밴드에서 간섭 함수 기반의 SNR 추정을 통해 이득 함수를 얻는 잡음 억제 방법을 사용한다. 그러나 이 방법은 잡음으로 인한 손상이 모든 특징 벡터 성분에 영향을 미쳐 성능을 저하시키는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 주파수 영역의 신호를 N개의 다중 주파수 밴드로 구분하고 각 밴드별로 간섭 함수 기반의 SNR 추정을 통한 이득 함수를 얻는 잡음 억제 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법의 성능평가는 ITU-T(International Telecommunications Union Telecommunication)에서 제공되는 객관적인 품질 평가 방법인 PESQ(Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality)로 비교하여 나타내었다.
