The standard RELAP5/MOD3.2 code was modified using the non-iterative modeling. which is developed to simulate steam condensation in the presence of noncondensable gases ill a vertical tube. The modified RELAP5/MOD3.2 code was used to simulate two kinds of vertical in-tube experiments involving the condensation phenomenon in the presence of noncondensable gases. The modeling capabilities of the modified RELAP5/MOD3.2 codc as well as the standard code for the condensation in the presence of noncondensable gases are assessed using two PCCS condensation experiments and four reflux condensation experimcnts. The modified RELAP5/MOD3.2 code gives good prediction over the data of both PCCS condensation and reflux condensation experiments

This study examines the effects of disclosing sales commissions pertaining to an influencer discount code on perceived sincerity of an influencer and attitude toward using the discount code. In Study 1, consumers participated in a two-cell (commission disclosure: absent vs. present) between-subjects experimental design. In Study 2, consumers participated in a two (commission disclosure: absent vs. present) by two (discount level: low vs. high) between-subjects experimental design. The findings of Study 1 demonstrate that the sales commission disclosure pertaining to discount codes results in a higher perceived sincerity of the influencer. The results of Study 1 also reveal that the perceived sincerity of the influencer mediates the effect of the disclosure (vs. no disclosure) on attitude toward using the discount code. Further, the findings of Study 2 demonstrate the robustness of these disclosure effects regardless of whether the discount level is low or high.

The purpose of this paper is to review the quality of corporate governance from the prior empirical literature. This study finds that most of the researchers developed the self structured corporate governance index and few researchers used the corporate governance index provided by rating agencies. This study also finds that there is no uniform basis to measure the corporate governance quality and observed the variation in terms of overall and individual attributes of corporate governance; sub-indices of corporate governance; scoring system; weighted and un-weighted method; statistical method; time period; financial and non financial companies; code of corporate governance; listing requirement; disclosure practices; legal environment; firms characteristics; and country perspective. This study also observed that overall corporate governance quality is very low in most of the studies and even quality of corporate governance varies in the firms within the same country. This study recommends that the boundary of corporate governance quality should be defined based on the agreed set of rules and regulation, code of governance and practices. This study also suggests that the regulator and policy makers should more emphasize on code of corporate governance and regulatory framework and monitoring to improve the quality of corporate governance.

Recently, the cause of flood damage has been the local torrential rainfalls rather than a total amount of yearly rainfalls. The domestic design code of drainage pump is being improved by considering the effect of local torrential rainfalls, while there is no consideration on the local torrential rainfalls in the domestic design code of bridge-deck drainage. Compared with the code of Federal Highway Administration in USA, no rational bases are specified in the domestic design code of bridge-deck drainage. This paper proposes the reasonable design guideline for bridge-deck drainage considering the effect of local torrential rainfalls.

Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,

As the number of plastic greenhouses has increased in Korea, the damage from typhoons and snow has also increased. Structural design codes for a disaster-resistant plastic greenhouse have been revised over the last few decades. In particular, the revised code draft in 2017 have changed in many ways compared to the 1995 code. Nevertheless, There is no study of the effect of new design code on plastic greenhouse. Therefore, this study evaluated the safety of plastic greenhouse against wind load according to 1995 and 2017 codes for type 1 houses, which is most commonly built in Jeju, through comparing the analytical results of plastic greenhouses designed by 1995 code and 2017 code draft. The results are as follows. (1) The uplift load due to the negative pressure on the roof of the plastic greenhouse increased significantly in 2017 code draft. (2) Since the existing members could not meet the design requirements, the rafters had to be replaced with members of the same cross-section as the columns. (3) Due to excessive lifting, measures were also needed to prevent lifting at the foundation of the plastic greenhouse.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting Thai commercial bank users' behavioral intention towards QR code payment system via mobile banking applications. The researchers conducted the study based on quantitative research approach. Non-probability sampling method such as the quota and convenience sampling was applied as sampling technique. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed. The data was collected from 1,800 respondents living in Bangkok, who have had an experience with QR code payment system with the top-three mobile banking applications in Thailand. This study concentrates on confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling as a statistical tool to examine the data, model accuracy, and influence of critical variables. In addition, the researchers applied the first-order and second-order techniques to examine the relationship between constructs. Adoption readiness and perceived risk were second-order constructs. The results reveled that compatibility has an impact on attitude towards QR code payment. Moreover, adoption readiness, compatibility, attitude, and personal innovativeness are statistically significant that impact behavioral intention towards QR code payment. The strongest antecedents of behavioral intention were compatibility, attitude, adoption readiness, and personal innovativeness, respectively. Surprisingly, perceived risk and perceived trust do not statistically have a significant impact on behavioral intention towards QR code payment.

Translation of a Korean text into a braille text causes no problem under the existing Korean braille-code System that maintains I: I correspondence between Korean characters and braille codes. However, reverse translation of a braille text into a Korean text would cause unavoidable mis-translation due to I : N correspondences between braille codes and Korean characters. The analysis shows that in Korean braille-code System, the major reasons for mis-translation are the conflicts between Korean Chosung (initial consonant) letters and numbers, between Korean Jongsung (final consonant) letters and punctuations, between Korean Jongsung (final consonant) letters and English mode delimiter codes, and overlapping use of the same braille code such as opening and closing parentheses. In this paper, we firstly established a reverse translation rule, that is to use an ordinary braille code unless the braille code causes any conflict in braille code sequences. If any ordinary braille code may cause some conflict during the reverse translation, an extended braille code that we propose in this paper must be used. In the experimentation, we cannot get any translation errors with the newly designed braille-code System compared with 25% of errors with the existing braille-code System.

In the embedded system domain, both memory requirement and energy consumption are great concerns. To save memory and energy, the 32 bit ARM processor supports the 16 bit Thumb instruction set. For a given program, the Thumb code is typically smaller than the ARM code. However, the limitations of the Thumb instruction set can often lead to generation of poorer quality code. To generate codes with smaller size but a little slower execution speed, Krishnaswarmy suggests a profiling guided selection algorithm at module level for generating mixed ARM and Thumb codes for application programs. The resulting codes of the algorithm give significant code size reductions with a little loss in performance. When the instruction set is selected at module level, some functions, which should be compiled in Thumb mode to reduce code size, are compiled to ARM code. It means we have additional code size reduction chance. In this paper, we propose a profile guided selection algorithm at function level for generating mixed ARM and Thumb codes for application programs so that the resulting codes give additional code size reductions without loss in performance compared to the module level algorithm. We can reduce 2.7％ code size additionally with no performance penalty

QR Code has been used in various forms such as simple business cards and URLs. Recently, the influence of Corona 19 Fundemik has led to the use of QR Codes to track travel routes through visits and entry / exit records, and QR Code usage has skyrocketed. In this way, most people have come to use it in the masses and are constantly under threat. In the case of QR Code, you do not know what you are doing until you execute it. Therefore, if you undoubtedly execute a QR Code with a malicious URL inserted, you will be directly exposed to security threats. Therefore, this paper provides a cloud-based malware QR Code detection system that can make a normal connection only when there is no abnormality after determining whether it is a malicious QR Code when scanning the QR Code.
