A SIMPLE ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR NONLINEAR DENSITY WAVE TWO-PHASE INSTABILITY IN A SODIUM-HEATED AND HELICALLY COILED STEAM GENERATOR

  • A simple model to analyze non-linear density-wave instability in a sodium-cooled helically coiled steam generator is developed. The model is formulated with three regions with moving boundaries. The homogeneous equilibrium flow model is used for the two-phase region and the shell-side energy conservation is also considered for the heat flux variation in each region. The proposed model is applied to the analysis of two-phase instability in a JAEA (Japan Atomic Energy Agency) 50MWt No.2 steam generator. The steady state results show that the proposed model accurately predicts the six cases of operating temperatures on the primary and secondary sides. The sizes of three regions, the secondary side pressure drop according to the flow rate, and the temperature variation in the vertical direction are also predicted well. The temporal variations of the inlet flow rate according to the throttling coefficient, the boiling and superheating boundaries and the pressure drop in the two-phase and superheating regions are obtained from the unsteady analysis.

전해질 농도와 식각시간에 따른 비귀금속합금의 표면조도 변화 (EFFECTS OF ELECTROLYTE CONCENTRATION AND ETCHING TIME ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF NI-CR-BE ALLOY)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the surface roughness of Ni-Cr-Be alloy($Verabond^{(R)}$, Aalba Dent Inc., USA) according to electrolyte concentration and etching time. Total of 150 metal specimens ($12{\times}10{\times}1.5mm$) composed of 5 polisded specimens, 5 sandblasted specimens, 140 etched specimens were prepared. Etched groups were divided into 28 groups by the $HClO_4$ concentrations(10, 30, 50, 70%) and etching times(15, 30, 60, 120, 180, 240, 300 seconds). The mean surface roughness(Ra) and the etching depth were measured with Optical 3-dimensional surface roughness measuring machine(Accura 1500M, Intek Engineering Co., Korea) and observed under SEM. The results obtaind were as follows: 1. Surface roughness(Ra) and etching depth were affected by the order of etching time, electrolyte concentration, and their interaction(P<0.05). 2. Surface roughness(Ra) and etching depth were increased with etching time in 10%, 30% electrolyte concentrations, but they had no significant difference with etching time in 70% (P<0.05). 3. Surface roughness(Ra) and etching depth decreased in the order of 30, 10, 50, 70% electrolyte concentrations from 120 seconds etching time(P<0.05). 4. The remarkable morphologic changes in etched surface were observed along the grain boundaries in 15, 30 seconds of 10%, 30% concentrations and the morphologic changes could be denoted in the grains themselves as well as along the boundaries with the lapse of time. Even though the noticeable morphologic changes also took place in etched surface with 50% concentration, the degree of changes were less than that of changes with 10%, 30%. However, there were little morphologic changes with 70% concentration regardless of etching time. 5. Surface roughness(Ra) of sandblasting group with $50{\mu}m\;Al_2O_3$ had no significant difference with 30%-30 seconds etched group(P<0.05).

  • 본 연구에서는 "신소매(新零售)"에 대한 연구의 참고자료와 실용적 개발을 위한 지침을 제공하기 위해 "신소매"의 연구현황과 이론적 상황을 정리하였다. "신소매"의 발전은 아직 걸음마 단계에 있다. 이론 연구는 이제 막 시작되어, 보다 실용적인 탐구는 있지만 상대적으로 이론적 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 현재, "신소매"의 이론적 연구와 실천적 발전이 점차 명확해지고 있다. 신소매의 급속한 발전은 신소매에 대한 이론적 연구가 강하게 요구되고 있다. "신소매"의 발전 추세는 대규모화, 경계가 없어지며, 지능화 되고 있다. 연구 결과 "신소매" 하에서의 온라인과 오프라인의 심층적 통합, 새로운 물류체계 및 공급망의 전환과 재편을 가속화 되는 것을 알 수 있었다. '신소매업'의 연구방향에 초점을 맞춰 이론과 실천을 더욱 깊이 연구할 필요가 있다.

  • 갈수록 정교해지는 사이버 위협, 클라우드 도입의 가속, 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인한 원격 및 하이브리드 근무환경 도입 등으로 인하여 많은 기업이 경계 안에 있는 모든 것을 암묵적으로 신뢰하는 전통적인 보안 모델이 경계가 존재하지 않고 데이터와 사용자가 갈수록 탈중앙화되는 오늘날 환경에 적합하지 않다는 사실이 부각되면서 제로 트러스트라(Zero Trust)는 개념이 갈수록 주목받고 있다. 제로 트러스트는 '아무도 신뢰하지 않는다'는 전제의 사이버 보안 모델로, 전체 시스템에서 안전한 영역 또는 이용자는 전무하다는 것을 원칙으로 내부 이용자도 검증을 거치며, 네트워크 접속 환경에 따른 정보 접근 범위도 차등 및 최소화하는 방안이다. 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인하여 재택근무가 일상화되고, 기존 사이버 보안방안이 한계에 부딪히면서 제로 트러스트(Zero Trust) 기술이 한층 더 주목을 받고 있다. 이에 따라 우리 정부도 NIST 표준을 참고로 제로 트러스트 도입 시 국내 공공 및 민간부문의 수용 가능성 현황, 개선이 필요한 과제 등을 점검할 것으로 예상된다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 제로 트러스트와 제로 트러스트의 기본원리, 철학, 고려사항에 대해 설명하고, 제로 트러스트의 기술을 접목시켜 보안을 강화하는 실무적인 기초 방안에 대하여 제시한다.

Semiconducting ZnO Nanofibers as Gas Sensors and Gas Response Improvement by $SnO_2$ Coating

  • ZnO nanofibers were electro-spun from a solution containing poly 4-vinyl phenol and Zn acetate dihydrate. The calcination process of the ZnO/PVP composite nanofibers brought forth a random network of polycrystalline wurtzite ZnO nanofibers of 30 nm to 70 nm in diameter. The electrical properties of the ZnO nanofibers were governed by the grain boundaries. To investigate possible applications of the ZnO nanofibers, their CO and $NO_2$ gas sensing responses are demonstrated. In particular, the $SnO_2$-deposited ZnO nanofibers exhibit a remarkable gas sensing response to $NO_2$ gas as low as 400 ppb. Oxide nanofibers emerge as a new proposition for oxide-based gas sensors.

영어 조건절의 경계억양과 담화해석에서 영어 억양의 역할 (Edge Tones of English Conditional Clauses and an Intonational Contribution to Discourse Interpretation)

  • This paper investigates the manner in which various. syntactic structures with a single meaning implement a consistent intonational pattern by examining English conditional clauses. In the phonetic experiment, we explore the edge tones in three different syntactic clauses which are semantically interpreted as a single conditional meaning (an if-clause, a clause with no if. and a clause with no if but followed by and) and compare them with the edge tone realized in a clause which is not interpreted as a conditional meaning. We also investigate the tonal differences resulting from the semantic difference between conditional and non-conditional meanings. That is, the conditional clauses expressed in three different syntactic structures show a consistent intonational pattern in their clausefinal boundaries; a rising contour (H- or H%) is realized at the edge of the intermediate phrases (ip) or intonational phrases (IP) in 89% of the if-clauses, 72% of the clauses with no if, and 79% of the clauses with no if but followed by and. On the other hand, 82% of the non-conditional clauses have a falling contour (L- or L-L%) in their final edge. Statistically, Chi-Square tests show that these percentages are all significantly higher, which suggests that a conditional meaning implements a consistent intonational pattern though it is expressed through different syntactic structures. Therefore, the result supports Bolinger's (1989) claim that intonation makes an important contribution to discourse interpretation.

3차원 Acceleration Convex Polytope를 기반으로 한 로봇 손의 안정한 파지 분석 (Analysis on Stable Grasping based on Three-dimensional Acceleration Convex Polytope for Multi-fingered Robot)

  • This article describes the analysis of stable grasping for multi-fingered robot. An analysis method of stable grasping, which is based on the three-dimensional acceleration convex polytope, is proposed. This method is derived from combining dynamic equations governing object motion and robot motion, force relationship and acceleration relationship between robot fingers and object's gravity center through contact condition, and constraint equations for satisfying no-slip conditions at every contact points. After mapping no-slip condition to torque space, we derived intersected region of given torque bounds and the mapped region in torque space so that the intersected region in torque space guarantees no excessive torque as well as no-slip at the contact points. The intersected region in torque space is mapped to an acceleration convex polytope corresponding to the maximum acceleration boundaries which can be exerted by the robot fingers under the given individual bounds of each joints torque and without causing slip at the contacts. As will be shown through the analysis and examples, the stable grasping depends on the joint driving torque limits, the posture and the mass of robot fingers, the configuration and the mass of an object, the grasp position, the friction coefficients between the object surface and finger end-effectors.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to study how Physical Distortion has been developed on the fashion from a surrealistic point of view and how it could be contributed to development of clothing design. This body distortion phenomenon has been started from primitivism times and it is still going on with various ways. Each era's distortion has been changed due to social cultural and environment matters. Especially influences of surrealism on the 20th century art transcended the limit of thought. Since appearance of surrealism 21th century fashion design has been opened up for new possibilities. There are no stereotypes no boundaries and our society is getting increasingly diversified. People in those society is longing to have another esthetic requirements. Also surrealistic physical distortion in the contemporary fashion has been produced unique design with new technology and new material. Physical distortion in fashion possess an infinite possibilities that could concoct the most amazing clothes. Also it has another strong potential that conducting us the way to produce design in novel ways. There is no doubt that surrealistic physical distortion in the contemporary fashion is absolute necessity to continue on evolution of clothing design.

Immersion gold층의 결함 메카니즘 연구 (Study on the Defect Mechanism of Immersion Gold Layer)

  • ENIG 층의 결함구조를 이해하고자 immersion gold 층의 결함을 TEM 분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 세가지 다른 종류의 금도금액을 통하여 immersion gold 층을 얻은 후 습식적으로 TEM 시편을 만들어 이를 비교하였다 이를 통해 immersion gold 도금액의 종류에 의하여 도금막의 결함구조는 크게 영향을 받음을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉, 시안형 치환형 금도금 액을 이용하여 얻은 immersion 금도금 층인 경우에는 결정계면을 따라서 결함들이 집중적으로 존재함을 관찰할 수 있었다. 반면 유기환원제를 도금액에 첨가한 시안형 부분환원형 금도금 액을 이용하여 얻은 immersion금도금 층인 경우에는 grain boundary를 따라 존재하는 공극은 사라졌지만 $5\sim20nm$ 크기의 구형의 공극이 결정계면, 결정내를 상관하지 않고 존재하고 있음을 확인할수 있었다. 이에 비하여 아황산형 치환형 금도금 액을사용하여 얻어진 금도금 층에서는 이러한 결함들이 거의 사라지는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.

Preparation and Electric Properties of PbTiO$_3$Thin Films by Low-pressure Thermal Plasma Deposition

  • PbTiO$_3$ thin films were prepared by low-pressure thermal plasma deposition on (100)Pt/(100)MgO substrates. Mist of source material in which metal alkoxides are dissolved in 2-methoxyethanol was introduced into plasma through heating furnace and deposited onto substrates at $600^{\circ}C$. As-deposited PbTiO$_3$/Pt/MgO thin film prepared at 1.33$\times$10$^4$ Pa was grown epitaxially, but was consisted of many rectangular shaped grains, with many grain boundaries and it was impossible to measure electric properties. As-deposited film prepared at 1.00$\times$10$^4$ Pa showed weak peaks of X-ray diffraction and the film was not grown epitaxially. On the other hand, the film after annealed at $700^{\circ}C$ showed strong diffraction peaks and epitaxial growth was also observed. For annealed film, moreover, no clear grain boundaries were observed. The value of ${\varepsilon}_r$, tan${\delta}$, Pr and Ec of annealed film were 160, 3.2%, 10.4${\mu}$C.cm$^-2$ and 51.2kV.cm$^-1$, respectively. Since the composition, Pb/Ti, measured by EDS attaching to SEM changed point by point, the distribution of composition in annealed film was investigated and found out several relations between composition and electric properties. At stoichiometric composition, Pr and Ec showed the lowest value and they gradually became large as composition deviated from stoichiometric one. Moreover, the value of ${\varepsilon}_r$ became gradually large as the ratio of Ti became high.
