  • Along with the increase of the importance of power quality, many various systems are dedicated in the analysis of power quality nowadays. But there still exists the same problems for realizing such kind of analysis systems well. One is the customization of the power quality measure devices; The other is an economic problem. This paper presents the usefulness and the advantage of the ICD (Intelligent Electronic Device) as the measure device of power quality And this paper detailedly describes the development procedure of web-based power quality monitoring system through ActiveX controls. Now this power quality monitoring system is already applied to the substation automation system.

  • A service restoration is one of the most important missions in distribution system operation. This paper proposes a multi-agent system approach to distribution system restoration. Every relay is developed as an agent by adding its own intelligent, self-tuning and communication ability. Relay agent calculates and corrects its restoration index by itself through communication with neighboring agents and its own intelligence. The proposed algorithm is applied to a simple network to show how to calculate restoration index. Keywords Multi-Agent System, Service Restoration, Distribution Networks

  • With the spread of COVID-19 infections, the need for next-generation learning management system for undact education is rapidly increasing, and the Ministry of Education is planning future education through the establishment of fourth-generation NEIS. If the fourth-generation NEIS System is well utilized, there are advantages such as providing personalized education services and activating the use of educational data, but a solution to the illegal access problem in an access control environment where strict authorization is difficult due to various user rights. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based access control audit system for next-generation learning management. Sensitive personal information is encrypted and stored using the proposed system, and when the auditor performs an audit later, a secret key for decryption is issued to ensure auditing. In addition, in order to prevent modification and deletion of stored log information, log information was stored in the blockchain to ensure stability. In this paper, a hierarchical ID-based encryption and a private blockchain are used so that higher-level institutions such as the Ministry of Education can hierarchically manage the access rights of each institution.

  • This paper propose a simple and efficient scheme to deliver frames between TDM interfaces and IP interfaces in NGTSs. Next Generation Transport Systems (NGTSs) are new conceptual transmission equipments fur next generation network. They consist of TDM interfaces and IP interfaces. NGTSs are suitable fur high-speed transmission links such as SONET/SDH and Gigabit Ethernet. The proposed VLAN scheme for NGTSs is implemented successfully.

  • Mobile users want to be provided with undisrupted network services when they navigate on the Next-Generation (NG) wireless networks. For that, interlocking with a heterogeneous network is important, but there have been few studies on the method for guaranteeing global mobility. Thus, this paper proposes the Proxy-LMA technique, the mobile IP-based global inter-networking system, to enhance global mobility and interoperability within the Next-Generation (NG) network environment. The purpose of the proposed Proxy-LMA system is to expand the boundary of the mobility with regards to the existing mobility management protocol (PMIPv6 and MIPv6) in order to guarantee global mobility and interoperability within the heterogeneous network environment. The results of the performance evaluation showed that the proposed Proxy-LMA system was more efficient than other methods from the standpoint of signaling cost and delay in the heterogeneous network environment.

  • In this research, we propose packet scheduling algorithm considering different QoS characteristics of real-time traffic and non-real-time traffic in the next generation wireless communication system serving the multimedia traffic and a new efficient framing method cooperated with this packet scheduler. When the selected traffic classes of the selected users are transmitted, our proposed framing method can increase the number of serviced traffic classes by mixing the many different traffic classes within one frame considering data rate decided by the allocated AMC (Adaptive Modulation and Coding) option. Using this proposed method, the fairness among the traffic classes can be achieved and the system performance for total throughput and delay can be enhanced. Simulations are performed to analyze the performance of the proposed framing method. Our proposed packet scheduler and framing method will be applied to the next generation multimedia wireless communication system serving many traffic classes.

  • The operation and function of the ports today require new trends and changes in continuous increase of freight and volume of containers as well as complexity of surface transport system. These changes affect future operational systems, Transport equipments and arrangements of comtainer blocks. To achieve an adaptable container port of the next generation. The architectural planning also needs to be changed in accordance with it. We try to probe some problems of current architecture related container ports system and expect some future changes.   • The aerodynamic performance of the pantograph of the next generation high sped train is analyzed. The calculation of the flow around pantograph is carried cut by FLUENT; by the steady state flow calculation with ${\kappa}-{\omega}$ SST turbulence model, the lift force of the pantograph is computed. For the verification of the numerical schemes am grid systems, flow calculations are performed with the pantograph shape which was used at the experiments performed at Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) in Japan. Then, the difference of lift force between numerical am experimental results is about 10%. Therefore, selected numerical schemes and the current grid system is adequate for the analysis am prediction of the aerodynamic performance of panthograph system. Based on these numerical schemes am grid system, the flow around pantograph of the next generation high sped train is calculated and the lift force of the pantograph is predicted; the lift force of the pantograph is about 146N.

  • The factors affecting the accuracy of lightning current measuring system are figured out the materials and length of down-conductor, and impedance matching between grounding resistance and characteristic impedance of cable. The cable with the low characteristic impedance used to transfer the lightning current from the top of the tower is too long to measure the waveform of lightning current, exactly. Especially, the height of the tower can cause the change of front time and magnitude of lightning stroke current. Basically, in this experiment. It was found that the magnitude and rise time of the lightning current are extremely dependant in the length of down-conductor in lightning current measuring system.

  • An over current relay(OCR), one of the most frequently used protective devices, has time-current characteristics (TCC) to control its trip time according to the current level. It is because an appropriate operating time interval is necessary for coordination with other protective devices. A set of TCC curves of an OCR is, in general, given by the supplier from which a curve is selected by the operator. Therefore, in many cases, it is impossible to consider the operation condition of the given power system exactly. A novel concept of an OCR is suggested in this paper. The proposed OCR has an internal correction module so that it may produce the most adequate TCC curve according to the given protective information for coordination with other devices. With the generated TCC curve, a variety of operation and coordination conditions can be taken into consideration in an effective manner. The suggested OCR is applied to a simple test power system to show very promising results from a coordination point of view.
