This study researches the restaurant industry in Seoul during the late 1940s. The research was based on the four major newspapers in Korea. The data included a total of 227 businesses with 164 non-fusion restaurants that served single-nation type food consisting of 101 Korean, 31 Western, 20 Japanese, and 12 Chinese. Some examples of South Korean dishes are Masan, Daegu, and Jeolla-do-style local foods. As for North Korean food, Pyongyang-style bulgogi, Naengmyeon, Hamheung-style janggukbap, and Gaejangguk were introduced frequently. Chinese restaurants that appeared were high-end places with Beijing-style cuisine. In the case of Japanese restaurants, they mostly had Sukiyaki with Joseon food served as well. Moreover, Western restaurants were fusioned with Japanese as in pork cutlet and curry rice. Others are comprised of "French Cuisine", "Indian curry rice", "Steak", and "Russian soup". This analysis indicates that foreign cuisines had actively entered the market.

This study aims on observing the social recognition and its aspects for men taking care of their outer appearances at current point where men are rapidly rising as the main consumer in the beauty industry while their interest for outer appearances are increasing. Therefore, we observed the overall trend and changes in social recognition for male looks by analyzing the contents of newspaper articles from 1990 to 2005 that play the critical role of spreading new information trend while reflecting the interest of people of a certain era. As a result, articles related to male looks were divided into fashion, hair, skin and cosmetics, physical image, cosmetic surgery, trend related to male looks, and male oriented stores and sites, and among them, articles related to fashion and skin took up the highest ratio. Especially articles related to the trend took up the largest ratio as it reflects the properties of two industries launching new products. Moreover, articles related to male looks tended to increase generally according to timely changes, and rapidly increased especially since 2000.

The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the current status of Industry 4.0 policies in India and provide holistic policy recommendations in the transition towards Industry 4.0. The study was conducted based on the content-centric review of written policy documents like policy memoranda (memos), green papers and white papers, policy briefs, policy reports, opinion pieces, and newspaper and academic publications on Industry 4.0. India lacks infrastructure, regulatory framework, architectural reference model, incentives, skills, and standard roadmap towards Industry 4.0. The current policy status and policy recommendations presented in this study can serve as a great asset for academicians, policymakers, and practitioners to prepare a holistic roadmap for Industry 4.0 policy implementation. The study is first to assess India's current policy status and compare with Germany towards Industry 4.0. Besides, it is expected to assist government policymakers in formulating tangible policy outputs and strategic roadmaps.

The new measuring method of micro-stickies considering both the effects of charge neutralization and evaporation of process water was developed by KRICT PPRC. By the new KRICT method, the contamination of metal dryer surface and other machine clothes could be estimated quickly and simultaneously. According to this study, it could be confirmed that the novel method is a useful one for the evaluation of several treatments regarding the reduction of stickies troubles.

To apply paper mill sludges to soil as fertilizer, paper mill sludges were investigated to predict suitability and maleficence for soil. Newspaper and Printed Paper sludge were analyzed by IC (Ion Chromatography) and ICP-OES (Induced Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer). As a results, harmful materials in two types of sludges were below standard by notified Ministy of Environment (ME). Also ionic substances causing the water pollution in sludges were less than the standard value by notified ME. Thus sludges from newspaper and printed paper is presumed that there are no water pollution and soil contamination.

This study was performed to investigate the deinkability of Korean old newspaper(KONP) and the properties of newsprint made from deinked pulp with some addition of virgin pulp. When the samples of composed of 50% Australian old magazine(AuOMG) and 50% KONP were compared with the samples 50% AuOMG and 50% AuONP, the yield, opacity, strength properties of the former were high, but its brightness was low. When the mixing ratio of AuOMG : AuONP : KONP was 30:20:50, the brightness and strength properties were obtained the similar or better than those obtained samples having other mixing ratio. The brightness and opacity of samples made from deinked pulp with the some addition of TMP and BKP can meet the minium qualifications of brightness and opacity specified by Japanese Industrial Standard. The samples, which DIP, TMP, and KP were mixed with the ratio of the 85:10:5 and 90:5:5, maintained higher brightness and strength comparing to the samples containing higher amount of virgin pulp. Since the newsprint samples made from KONP was not inferior to those from imported old newspaper, the more use of KONP in producing newsprint is recommended.

To produce the raw material used for printing and writing paper or high quality tissue, MOWs that were consisted of white ledger, colored ledger and old newspaper were bleached with EoP and EoPY(FAS) method, the EoP bleaching process gave the improvement in brightness and a high color removal efficiency. Especially, MOW B(initial brightness: 59.1％ ISO) that contained much old newspaper showed the higher bleaching efficiency than those of MOW A(initial brightness: 68.3%). After EoPY(FAS) bleaching, MOW's brightness was increased from 68.3% ISO to 84.3∼84.0% ISO, and from 59.1% ISO to 78.7∼79.2% ISO, respectively. Also the tensile and burst index of bleached pulps decreased by 10∼30%. The tear index slightly decreased or halted at the same range as unbleached pulps.

본 연구는 3개 신문사에 나타난 「장애인복지법」상장애에 대한 기사를 분석했다. 3개 신문사는 <동아일보>, <한국일보>, <한겨레신문>의 신문사 홈페이지에서 수집한 장애관련 기사는 총 7,684건이다. 네트워크 텍스트분석과 내용분석을 통하여 다중장애모델의 '장애관'을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 개별모델 및 사회모델을 비교로 개별모델 64.31%, 사회모델 35.69%로 개별모델이 상당히 높게 나타났다. 3개 신문사에 나타난 장애관은 전통적 개별모델의 장애로 개인이 해결해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 사회 환경적 및 제도적 문제는 낮게 나타나 사회적 약자인 장애인에 대한 국민들의 관심과 배려가 요구된다. 본 연구의 사회복지적 함의는 장애를 바라보는 시대 변화에도 신문은 전통적 패러다임에 머물고 있었다. 장애를 장애인의 관점에서 바라보는 것이 요구되며, 개별적 욕구의 다양성을 인식하는 성숙한 의식이 필요하다. 본 연구는 신문기사에 나타난 장애관을 양적·질적 데이터의 양방향 시도를 고찰한 점에서 의의가 있다.
