본 연구는 도시개발 변화에 따른 공공도서관 신축부지선정에 대한 법적 검토사항을 살펴보고, 일반적인 부지특성과 입지기준을 고찰하였다. 또한 전주시를 대상으로 적합한 부지를 선정하기 위하여, 지역주민들의 정보문화활동에 관한 각종 지표 및 통계자료를 조사하였고, 이용자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 새로운 공공도서관 설립 비전과 목적을 수립하고, 부지선정 계획을 단계별로 제안하였다. 본 연구는 도서관 신축부지선정과 지방정부의 도서관정책개발 및 예산확보의 타당성 근거로 활용하는데 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

Recent years, being advanced the phenomena of fewness and aging rapidly in rural areas, rural community has been collapsed fastly. This study is aimed for two intentions: the one is identification of the actual conditions of rural diminishing in population, and the other is having a view of real picture of it in future. The major result of this study is summarized as follows. First, as a result of the rural area's shrinking for a long time advanced, the rural community has grown to under the minimum autogenesis level. Futher more this study have a look out in ten years later that rural community will diminish in population to 42% size compared with now, and the number of elder than 80 years old occupy a half of total population in a standard case. Such a consequence of this study implies no doubt that the rural development policy must lay a stress to cope with a serious situation of rural scantiness. And policy conversion calls for having a new understanding of this situation first.

This study emphasizes a new senior housing type which can provide individual housing units and common facilities for retirees, particularly who will be retired from universities. It is called a university-based retirement community. This study conducted a questionnaire survey to investigate future residents' needs for architectural environments that included housing types, common facility features, and proximity, and also development methods in response to the university involvement levels. The survey questionnaire was administered in one national university in Korea. A total of 214 responses were valid for statistical analyses. Major findings are as follows: Over 65% of the respondents were willing to live in the university-based retirement community. Regarding the location of the community, they responded the community would not need to be located on campus. Preferred common facilities in the UBRC were indoor fitness centers, the shuttle bus stops connecting to the adjacent areas, and bath and sauna facilities. The respondents emphasized university's contribution toward offering educational programs for UBRC residents. Lastly, their responses to the university role and involvement in the development and construction process were identified. This study results are expected to provide essential information for facilitating the Korean model of university-based retirement communities in the future.

In this study, the living standard and satisfaction level of urban people who moved to rural areas researched. Through these criteria, we could analyze people's perceptions of the current rural life. We would like to present this study as a base for improvement for those who seek a better life in a rural environment. The result of this study is as follows; The specific goals and need of our target group depend on individual characteristics, occupation and age etc. Therefore, the support system should sensibly consider their personal needs. In addition to this, the flow of information between these people should be changed from theoretical perspective to factual perspective. The new rural tenants obtained information on rural life mostly from private channels such as their acquaintances. Organizations responsible for providing information do not offer useful factual information on agrotechnology and financial support. Nevertheless, they are mainly focused on conceptual and ideological information.

오늘날은 빠른 도시의 발전으로 올드타운과 뉴타운의 발전이 불균형해지고 있으며, 올드타운의 쇠퇴는 뉴타운의 발전을 더욱 촉진하고 있다. 올드타운의 쇠퇴는 심각해지고 있으며 인구가 유실되고 환경이 악화되었다. 이에 따라 올드타운의 쇠퇴 현상을 완화하고, 뉴타운과 올드타운의 균형을 찾는 '공생'의 발전사상을 활용하여, 뉴타운과 올드타운이 함께 발전하는 동시에 올드타운이 다시 활력을 찾기를 희망하며 연구를 진행했다. '공생'과 '커뮤니티 공간' 두 개념에 대한 선행연구와 이론적 고찰을 통해 공간 구성과 특성 요소를 정리하고, 공생 커뮤니티의 개념을 제시해 사례 분석을 진행하였다. 중국은 2016년부터 베이징(北京)에서 '공생원(共生院)' 리모델링 프로젝트를 실시했다. 본 연구에서는 베이징 동, 서청구(东, 西城区) 내 후통(胡同) 커뮤니티를 중심으로 사례를 분석하고 설문조사를 진행해 최종적으로 분석 결과를 도출하였다. 각 사례에서는 공간 구성과 특성에 대한 선택과 함께 설문조사 결과를 참고해 중요도 결과를 정리하였다. 향후 디자인에서는 이러한 디자인 전략을 참고로 도시의 '공생' 발전을 실현할 수 있기를 기대한다.

Service-learning is a form of experiential education in which students participate in organized activities and develop a sense of civic responsibility while acquiring content knowledge of the discipline. The purpose of this study was first, to examine the underlying theories and principles of service-learning, and second, to present a case of systemic implementation of problem-based service-learning into a Product Innovation and Management class in higher education. The New Product Development for an E-Commerce Small Business project was developed for a community partner, BevShots, reflecting the needs of the firm, and was tightly woven into the course content. Students' participation in the project had a significant effect on increasing their awareness of the needs in the community and identifying their roles as citizens as well as enhancing their content knowledge learning. The community partner also received benefits for his business by participating in the project. Through this study, we aim to inspire fashion design and merchandising educators to implement service-learning projects/classes in the curriculum.

One of critical issues in the housing area is what strategies should be adopted for revitalizing contemporary communities in housing complex. It is expected that those strategies could encourage neighbourship and recover the existing community spaces. Based on the assumption that contemporary communities might have different characteristics from those of the traditional communities and spaces, this research aims to explore the possibility of new communities in a current context. With the development of the information communication technologies (ICT) and hardware systems, the environment would be capable of anticipating people's needs and then provide them with customization options to tailor the environment to their requirements. By incorporating the 'smart' paradigm, this paper introduces the concept of a smart community and space with the potential of mobile Augmented Reality(AR) as alternative strategies for activating the communities. The residents believe that existing common spaces need to be extendable and augmented by combining new technologies. The smart communities and spaces are expected to extend people's interaction to virtual world in aj real context, further combined with social network, it enables sustainable relationships among residents, contributina to a new type of community.

Competitiveness strategies has been associated in the tourism literature as a crucial factor for the success of tourist. The study aims to explore the competitiveness strategies for tourism destinations by conducting in-depth interviews with probe questions. Thirteen community enterprises' managers in rural tourism communities were interviewed with a semi-structured interview questionnaire for one or two hours. From the interview data, eight themes in two dimensions were identified as competitiveness strategies of rural community enterprises in rural Korea. Differentiation strategies consist of new product development, service improvement, brand image improvement, advertise and public relation, and concentration. Cost leadership dimension includes cost reduction, increasing benefit, and long-term investment. The findings of this paper implicate the underlying the competitiveness strategies from managers' perspective.

노무현 정부는 2006년부터 살기좋은 지역 만들기 정책을 본격 시행하고 있다. 이 정책은 우리들의 일상생활 공간인 지역사회 또는 지역을 대상으로 공간의 질과 삶의 질을 제고하기 위해 지방자치단체와 주민의 주도적 노력으로 아름답고, 쾌적하고, 특색있는 지역 공동체를 만들어 가는 것을 말한다. 이 정책은 한국사회의 질적 발전과 우리들의 일상적 삶의 만족도 증진이라는 양 차원에서 볼 때, 매우 긴요하고 시의 적절한 것으로 평가된다. 그러나 살기좋은 지역 만들기가 성공하기 위해서는 지역사회 또는 지역의 지리적 특성을 잘 이해하고 활용하지 않으면 안 될 것이다. 이러한 점에 유의하여 이 논문은 지리학 관점에서 살기좋은 지역 만들기 정책을 검토하고, 아울러 새로운 정책방향을 제시하고자 하였으며, 또한 지리학자들이 참여해야 할 과제에 대해서도 논의하였다.

The growth of online market is accelerating due to the development of technology and the era of pandemic. In order to deliver the ordered product to customers courier service should be used. In addition, the courier logistics market is growing with the growth of the online market. With the growth of the logistics market, traffic and environmental problems are emerging as social issues. Logistics technology of urban community logistics courier terminal system utilizing vacant space in the city has been developed as a new alternative to environment and traffic problems by increasing logistics efficiency in the city area. In this study, we propose a concept of a system that performs operational concept definition and scenario analysis by applying model-based perspective analysis to urban community logistics courier terminal system under development. Through this study, we defined the operating concept of the urban community logistics courier terminal, which is the target of development, and defined the scenario for system operation by grasping the structure and function of the system and applied it to system development.
