A newly recorded species Caprella arimotoi Takeuchi, 1993, belonging to the family Caprellidae Leach, 1814, was collected from the South Sea, Korea. This species is morphologically very similar to Caprella verrucosa Boeck, 1871, with blunt dorsal projections on pereonites, oval-shaped propodus on gnathopod 2, and grasping spines on the pereopods 5-7. Caprella arimotoi originated from C. verrucosa and are difficult to distinguish because they have mixed characteristics. However, C. arimotoi was classified because of several morphological differences. The newly recorded species C. arimotoi is discernible from C. verrucosa by a forwardly curved anterodorsal projection on head, elongated gills, slender pereopod 7, and lacking ventrolateral projections on pereonites 2-7. To date, C. arimotoi has only been reported in Japanese waters. So, our record is the first record in Korean waters and outside of Japan. In this study, the Korean C. arimotoi is illustrated based on the mature male specimens with a brief description of the female, focusing on the sexually dimorphic characters.

A total of 56 genera and 101 species of the fly family Tephritidae have been previously recorded in Korea. As a result of an ongoing study of this family, I report the following ten additional species new to Korea: Actinoptera montana (Meijere, 1924), Actinoptera reticulata Ito, 1984, Campiglossa luxorientis(Hering, 1940), C. melanochroa (Hering, 1941), C. quadriguttata (Hendel, 1927), C. shensiana (Chen, 1938), Oxyna gansuica Wang, 1998, Tephritis jocaste Hering, 1953, Tephritis okera (Shinji, 1940), and Trupanea guttistella (Hering, 1951). Among the five genera involved here, the genus Actinoptera Rondani, 1871 is recognized for the first time in Korea. Therefore, 57 genera and 111 species are now officially recognized for the Korean tephritid fauna. For each newly recognized Korean species, I provide new Korean name, synonymy, taxonomic diagnosis and color photographs. When possible, I list the host records and discuss their intraspecific variability and sexual dimorphism.

Most research on verbal interaction in school has used general frameworks, not including general sense that encompass 'elementary' and 'science'. Considering the current framework, we developed a new framework containing items such as safety and science terms. In this study, we compared 2 beginner teachers and 2 career teachers using new frameworks. After preliminary experiments, we recorded 4 classes per each person and recorded all interaction. It was revealed that the career teachers shows more convergent question and agreement to students. And in experimental class the career teachers give more attention for safety. This study may present that it is necessary for beginner teachers to be trained focusing differences.

Only four species of leuconids have been recorded in Korea, all belonging to the genera Eudorella Norman, 1867 and Nippoleucon Watling, 1991. In this study, Pseudoleucon japonicus Gamô, 1964 belonging to family Leuconidae Sars, 1878 is newly recorded for Korean cumacean fauna. Also, for the first time, the male of the species is fully described and illustrated. The specimens were collected from the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the western sea (Yellow Sea) of Korea, with a rectangular dredge during 2007-2008. This species is characterized by the following features: the carapace has strong serrations on the antero-lateral margin and a pair of short oblique ridges on the side surface; the ridges begin near the end of frontal lobe and merge with the dorsal median carina; the appendages, such as antenna 1, pereopod 2 and uropod have a lot of simple setae decorated with a bundle of hairs at the end. The present study represents the first record on the genus Pseudoleucon Zimmer, 1903 from Korea.

The subfamily Pimplinae is one of the largest groups of the family Ichneumonidae, currently 1,737 species in 77 genera worldwide. In Korea, 120 species in 33 genera have been recorded. The South Korean species of the subfamily Pimplinae Wesmael, 1845 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) are the focus of this study. Here, six species are newly added in the South Korean fauna: Aravenator kamijoi Momoi, Chablisea varicolor Liu, He & Chen, Clistopyga arctica Kusigemati, Liotryphon cydiae (Perkins), L. strobilellae (Linnaeus), and Zaglyptus semirufus marginatus Kasparyan. Of these new taxa, two genera (Aravenato and, Chablisea) belonging to the tribe Ephialtini are also newly recorded from South Korea. We present a key to species of South Korean Clistopyga, Liotryphon, and Zaglyptus, diagnosis, photographs, and distribution. As a result of this study, the Korean fauna of Pimplinae is now known to consist of 126 species in 35 genera. All Pimplinae specimens are kept in the collections of the Geolim Entomological Institute (GEI), Daegu, South Korea.

A total of 69 genera and 202 species of the family Syrphidae have been previously recognized in Korea. In the present study, we report the following 10 species new to Korea: Epistrophe aeka Kimura, 1989, Epistrophe aino (Matsumura, 1917), Epistrophe annulitarsis(Stackelberg, 1918), Epistrophe griseofasciata (Matsumura, 1918), Epistrophe sasayamana (Matsumura, 1918), Epistrophe shibakawae (Matsumura, 1917), Fagisyrphus cinctus (Fallén, 1817), Melangyna olsufjevi (Violovitsh, 1956), Melangyna pavlovskyi (Violovitsh, 1956), and Paragus clausseni Mutin, 1999. Among the four genera, the genus Fagisyrphus Dušek and Láska, 1967 is recognized for the first time in Korea. As a result, 70 genera and 212 species of the family Syrphidae are now officially recognized for the Korean fauna. For each newly recognized Korean species, we provide synonymy, diagnosis, and description with color photographs. In addition, we provide new Korean names for all newly recorded species as well as the genera Epistrophe, Fagisyrphus, and Melangyna, which previously did not have Korean names.

A newly recorded species, Boehmeria nakashimae Yahara, is confirmed for the first time to be distributed on forest edges on Jejudo Island, Korea. This species is known to be endemic to northern Kyushu, Japan. It is characterized by ovate to broadly ovate, elliptic-ovate, or sub-orbicular middle leaf shapes, serrulate-dentate and uniform margins, 17-29 teeth on one side, a short caudate or narrowly acute apex, dense glomerules at fruiting, and densely strigillose on the stems, both surfaces of the leaves, the perianth of staminate flowers, and achenes. Therefore, it is given the new name 'Je-ju-top-mo-si-pul' in Korean based on its serrulate-dentate leaf margin and geographical distribution. A description, photographs, illustrations, and keys of related taxa in Korea are provided.

Cyanobacteria were sampled at five sites in the Han River, Nakdong River, and Geum River watershed from June 2014 to May 2015 and then cultivated. Two genera and five species of the cyanobacteria were newly recorded in Korea. The newly recorded species were Limnothrix redekei, Pseudanabaena galeata, Pseudanabaena amphigranulata, Sphaerospermopsis aphanizomenoides, and Calothrix parietina. As a result, the Korean flora of the cyanobacteria now include four orders, 22 families with 73 genera, 143 species, and two varieties, giving a total of 146 taxa.

A study on fresh-water green coccoid algae was carried out at ponds, swamps, reservoirs, lakes and rivers (290 sites) from May 2011 to January 2014. In this study, 4 genera and 13 taxa of the family Radiococaceae having the remnants of cell wall existing for a long time in the colonial gelatinous envelope are classified and identified from 24 sites. Many taxa of this family, however, have not been recorded in Korea yet. Of these 13 taxa, 5 taxa are newly recorded in Korea by this study: 1) Schizochlamydella solitaria, 2) Thorakochloris planktonica, 3) Radiococcus bavaricus, 4) R. nimbatus, and 5) R. planktonicus.

When the information of announcement facility is modified or added, they are recorded on a tape and then are updated manually using the cassette tape recorder at each office. But the degrade of the tone quality owing to repeated use of the tape and some recording mistakes by processing manually deteriorate the quality of service. And new services such as IN(Intelligent Network) and added functions make the announcement changed very often. Therefore the improved skill of the announcement handling is needed. This paper introduces the implementation of the TDX-10A on-line recording function of transferring voice in PCM data file and storing it in the memory of the recorded announcement facility, when message is recorded onthe fixed type of announcement facility.
