As various social problems have arisen due to the increase of the aging population, one of these problems is the increase of the elderly with dementia. The necessity of systematic and effective dementia management policies has been raised, as the increase of social and economic cost along with the growth of the dementia population. This study examined dementia management policy of Japan, where there is arranged and provided dementia management policy in advance. Especially, this study focuses on the contents of comprehensive promotion strategies for dementia policy(New orange plan) of Japan which was pronounced in 2015, and explores the development strategies for Korea by reviewing this plan. The suggestions through this study are provided as follows: inclusion of the support contents reflecting the dementia patients and their families, the necessity of coping for early onset dementia, organizing system for early diagnosis and prevention such as an early stage of intensive support team, a continuous progression for building the elderly-friendly community and conducting campaign for a deep understanding of dementia, are discussed.

This design plan aims at the presentation of the representative character of Design Center by making a new image of the cafeteria that is located in the 1. floor. To create an ambience of intercommunication and relaxation, it must be set up the basic concepts like Mobility, Flexibility, Transparence and Color-Play. As the design solutions : - first of all the 360 grade reversible and removable dividers are installed around the 5 pillars - in accordance with the basic concepts Mobility and Flexibility the cubic form construct that plays not only a role of a kitchen, but also a role of a counter, is designed to be relocated at one's own. - the various kinds of seating module and the chill-out zone are introduced to bring out the functionality and the aestheticity simultaneaously - to make a contrasting image to the glass surface of the yellow-, orange- and red-colored dividers, the black chairs and tables are arranged in the middle.

Firefighters and police officers have the third highest prevalence of obesity among 41 male occupational groups in the United States (US). However, few studies have examined the relationship of firefighter working conditions and health behaviors with obesity. This paper presents a theoretical framework describing the relationship between working conditions, health behaviors, and obesity in firefighters. In addition, the paper describes a detailed study plan for exploring the role of occupational and behavioral risk factors in the development of obesity in firefighters enrolled in the Orange County Fire Authority Wellness Fitness Program. The study plan will be described with emphasis on its methodological merits: adopting a participatory action research approach, developing a firefighter-specific work and health questionnaire, conducting both a cross-sectional epidemiological study using the questionnaire and a sub-study to assess the validity of the questionnaire with dietary intake and physical activity measures, and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the body mass index as an obesity measure in comparison to skinfold-based percent body fat. The study plan based on a theoretical framework can be an essential first step for establishing effective intervention programs for obesity among professional and voluntary firefighters.

Wolfiporia cocos is an important medicinal fungus that has been used in regions of Northeast Asia including Korea, Japan, and China. W. cocos is classified in Korea into two types (red bokryeong and white bokryeong) based on the internal colors (yellow orange-pale pink and white) of the sclerotium. Generally, the W. cocos type cultivated on farms produces white sclerotium. In this study, we endeavored to select strains that form sclerotium in sawdust medium using 2-way cross-breeding among two cultivated strains and three wild strains. Monospores were isolated from the fruiting bodies of cultivated and wild strains on potato dextrose agar. Thirty-nine strains of 338 hybrid strains isolated formed sclerotia with white or yellow colors upon culture for 3 months in Pinus densiflora sawdust medium. Selection for sclerotium forming strains using sawdust culture follows a very simple and easy procedure that is presented for the first time in this paper. We plan to test selected strains in the field to aid in developing new varieties for the future.
