Electron-electron interactions bear important information on fundamental electronic properties such as electron effective mass, conductivity, and charge mobility. By using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, here we address unusual electron self-energy in graphene induced by the electron-electron interactions, which are distinguished from those of an ordinary Fermi liquid. Our findings provide a new route for two-dimensional electron systems toward device applications.

In this study, a new processing route of barrier ribs for the plasma display panels was attempted. A slurry containing ceramic powders for the barrier ribs, binder, hardener, and other additives, was molded into a PDMS mold by capillary infiltration process. The molded slurry was cured prior to mold removal. It was demonstrated that the process can fabricate successfully the cell type barrier ribs of PDP.

This work proposes a new distributed and self-organized authentication scheme for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). Apart from describing all its components, special emphasis is placed on proving that the proposal fulfils most requirements derived from the special characteristics of MANETs, including limited physical protection of broadcast medium, frequent route changes caused by mobility, and lack of structured hierarchy. Interesting conclusions are obtained from an analysis of simulation experiments in different scenarios.

A new synthetic route to ($\pm$)-aspidospermidine was devised, starting from the cycloadduct of 3-ethyl-5-bromo-2-pyrone with vinyl sulfide through a tandem conjugate addition-alkylation sequence. The requisite 3-ethyl-5-bromo-2-pyrone was prepared via the C3-selective Pd-catalyzed coupling reaction with $Et_3Al$-dimethylaminoethanol complex.

Korea's new high-speed train opened for business on April 1, 2004. This paper examines the passenger demand variation between major train stops on Kyung-Bu corridor. The analysis scrutinized the demand transition and market responses by the opening of KTX. Demand analysis is subcategorized with routes and train classes. The study used the data from the survey between January 2003 and August 2004 and the route sections were between major trains stops including Seoul, Cheonan, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan on Kyung-Bu corridor.

The Knoevenagal reaction of malononitrile and acetylacetone gave the acyclic product 3 which was separated in a good yield and identified. The reactivity of 3 towards some chemical reagents is studied. Thus, the reaction of 3 with aromatic aldehydes, hydrazines and cyanomethylene derivatives gave products 6-12. Reaction of 3 with benzenediazonium chloride gave the primidine derivative 14.

Extensive efforts in the search of therapeutically useful carbocyclic nucleosides have resulted in a wealth of their synthetic methodologies in racemic and optically active forms. The classical one-directional methods such as linear synthesis and convergent synthesis are the approaches most frequently seen in the literature for the preparation of carbocyclic nucleosides, and their advantages and limitations are well known. Mucosal administration of drug or therapeutic gene is emerging as a new route of delivery for systemic and local therapeutics. Previously. in situ gelling system has been applied to chemical drug such as acetaminophen. insulin. prostaglandin E1. and clotrimazole. Plasmid DNA has not been delivered in form of in situ gelling vehicles. To improve the intranasal absorption of plasmid DNA. we designed delivery systems composed of provide of in 냐셔 gelling and mucoadhesive polymers. (omitted)

Industrialization has accelerated the expansion of mobility to the urban areas, land use for function of residence and consumption. With the urbanization, the management and distribution of the physical space of the city and rational design have also become major issues. Rapid and widespread urbanization has consistently accumulated problems of natural, physical, environmental, and psychological circumstances, and most of urban areas have begun to focus on restoring an efficient, safe and healthy urban environment to improve of the quality of life since the latter half of the 20th century, New-Urbanism is a new urban development paradigm that resembles the practical implications of a shared economy for social, economic and environmental cost reduction.. The geographical significance of the sharing city's concept of the alleys is to revitalize sustainable cities while restoring the attractive elements of the city. This study examines the lessons of New-Urbanism in those traditional urban space comparing with each East Asia's cities such as golmok (alley or backlane) in Seoul, Huton in Beijing, Lilong in Shanghai, and Roji in Japan. This study diagnoses whether main principals of New-Urbanism such as development of good community and walkable pedestrian route, restoration of regional identity and sense of the place, and mitigation of climate change strategy can be practiced in the community of alley as well.
