간호사 국가시험 과목 통합을 위한 간호관리학 영역의 방향 (The Direction of Nursing Management Domain for Nursing Personal Licensing Examination Board)

  • Purpose : This study was to provide a meaningful framework for establishment of the direction of Nursing Management area to get ready for Nursing Personal Licensing Examination Board. Method : Using methodological and descriptive research method, the research process was as follows: a preliminary work list which was performed by New Nurse related to nursing management area was made of such key information as the domain of nursing management work, the element of that domain, and the detail work content, by means of a broad review of literature related to nursing management on Licensing Examination for the new nurse. After this preliminary work list sought to obtain examination, consensus, and modification of expert group in the nursing management field, research instrument which was the work list performed by new nurse within nursing management area was to developed. And next, it was to survey various of the importance and the frequency of that work performance by registered nurse, nurse manager, and the professors to take responsible of nursing management. Finally, the educational content for nursing management at the level of baccalaureate was proposed by various analyzing of research results. Results : The work list which was performed by new nurse related to nursing management area consisted of 9 domains, 24 elements, and 80 detail work contents. After it was examined into such various analysis as descriptive statistics, ANOVA, mean range, and so on, of the importance perception of the work and the frequency of work performance, the educational contents for baccalaureate in nursing management which consisted of total 65 contents made up of 18 core contents and 47 essential contents, which new nurses have to necessarily know and perform within the nursing management area. Conclusion : The results of this study will contribute to identifying the work list of new nurses performed in nursing management area and also proposing the educational contents that was taught at the level of baccalaureate in nursing management area based on doing actually in nursing unit.

일 대학 간호학과 교육 과정 개발 연구 (Development of Bachelor Nursing Programme)

  • The educational preparation of nurses has been the focus of considerable debate globally. It is needed the change of the basic nursing education for professional nurse to prepare the trends of the health care needs of clients for coming new generation. And also it is believed that educational preparation for being nurses is to be responsible to clients' needs. The purpose of the study was to develop a baccalaureate program in nursing. This study were implemented through three stages from April 2001, to April 2002.: preparation stage which were consisted of reviewing of the literatures, interviewing the fellow nurses in a variety workplace, and consulting professors who were concerned with the nursing education to identify the present educational problems, and analyzing the contents of seven major courses in nursing education, evaluation stage about a new developed curriculum with the directors of the five nursing schools, and confirmation stage of new developed education programme. The developed education programme was designed as a four year program with 126 credit hours including 39 credit hours of liberal arts, 34 credit hours of supplementary courses, and 53 credit hours of nursing major based on the four basic nursing dimensions of human, health, environment and nursing. Nursing majors were consisted of Nursing Ⅰ(oxygenation), Nursing Ⅱ(nutrition elimination), Nursing Ⅲ(activity rest), Nursing Ⅳ(neurologic- endocrine protection), Nursing Ⅴ(fluids electrolytes/sex reproductive), Nursing Ⅵ(psycho-social), Community Health Nursing, Fundamental Nursing, School Health, and Emergency care. This new nursing programme was focused on the nursing education for prevention and rehabilitation nursing care as well as the acute and chronic nursing care at hospital, on the integrated nursing programme to become effective, and the nursing process to encourage the critical thinking. The new education programme focused on the professional nurses who are responsible the nursing ethics, communication skills, and professional beliefs to suit the future trends in health. And also it will be needed for faculties to manage the integrated curriculum, to analyze the contents of each subject, and to communicate with each other before a new education programme apply to their education programme in future. 청소년대상 인쇄매체 성교육자료분석 (A Study on the Analysis of Sexual Health Education for Korean Adolescents)

  • The Purpose of this study is to offer basic data when the new printed media for sex education are developed, by grasping the problem through analyzing the data of the printed media for sex education that are produced by the government and composed of relatively inclusive contents. The subjects of analyzed data were 10 printed media books connected with sex education. This study focused on analysis for the printed media. therefore the method of analysis used effectively for the study of the mass media was used. The SAS program was used for analyzing the frequency of data and processing with percentage. The result of this study is as follows. 1. The subject of sex education that the printed media intend for was classfied the data for students and for teachers and the general. 2. According to the result of analyzing the writers of the printed media for sex education, classified by occupation, research workers accounted for $30.2\%$ as 23 persons, and the rest were distributed as 19 professors $(25\%)$, 13 teachers $(17.2\%)$, 10 workers in related institutions of various kinds $(13.1\%)$, 6 doctors $(10.6\%)$ and 3 writers $(3.9\%)$. Examing the organization of writers of the printed media for sex education for students, it was composed of sequence as research workers $30.5\%$. workers in related institutions of various kinds $19.6\%$, teachers $19.5\%$, professors $13\%$, doctors $10.8\%$ and writers $6.5\%$. And that of writers of the printed media for sex education for teachers and the general was shown as professors $43.2\%$ (13 persons), research workers $30.1\%$ (9 persons), teachers $13.2\%$ (4 persons) and doctors $10.2\%$ (3 persons). 3. Seeing the result of analyzing for the printed media, classified by themes, it was shown as 314.1 pages $(28.5\%)$ in a field of development of men, 195.9 pages $(17.6\%)$ in a field of sex-health, 141.7 pages $(12.9\%)$ in a field of relationship. 74.1 pages $(6.7\%)$ in a field of a sex act. 51.7 pages $(4.6\%)$ in a field of a personnal technology and 313.4 pages $(28.4\%)$ in the others. As are suit of the analysis classified by themes about the printed media for sex education for students, it was distributed as the content about sexual abuse $12.3\%$ (60.2 pages), the anatomical physiology of reproduction $12.1\%$ (59.3 pages). a friendship $8.5\%$ (41.6 pages). the reproduction $7.2\%$ (35.5 pages). a sexual disease $6.8\%$ (33.2 pages) and the puberty $4.3\%$ (20.9 pages). Examing the result of the analysis about contents classified by themes of the printed media for sex education for teachers and the general. it was indicated as 67.1 pages $(10.9\%)$ on the 'puberty', 37.9 pages $(6.2\%)$ on the anatomical physiology of reproduction, 36.6 pages ($6.0\%$ on a sexual disease, 23.2 pages $(3.8\%)$ on dating, 21.7 pages $(3.5\%)$ on a human sexual reaction. 21.0 pages $(3.4\%)$ on a sexual role. 20.1 pages $(3.3\%)$ of the reproduction. The suggestion according to the upper result is as follows. 1. It is needed to expand the range of analysis into the data. besides the printed media. into the data for sex education using such media as a video. a slide, a CD-ROM, on internet, etc. 2. It is necessary to develop the ideal program for sex education of teenagers and analyze the effect. on the basis of analyzing data about data sex education. 3. It is needed that practice workers for nursing or teachers for nursing as well as workers in educational field or medical experts participate in producing data for sex education.

한국 자치경찰의 인력충원 방안 (Policy of Personnel Recruiting in the Korean Municipal Police System)

  • 본 연구는 자치경찰제 시행이념을 구현하고 주민친화적인 치안서비스를 제공하는데 적합한 인력을 충원하기 위한 현실적인 대안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 자치경찰제의 실시가 가시화되고 있는 만큼 자치경찰의 인력충원을 위한 실증적 연구는 의미가 있을 것이다. 이에 따라 이에 대한 연구가 향후 자치경찰법안의 입법과정과 자치경찰제의 안정된 정착에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보고, 이에 대한 세부적 방안을 모집 및 채용, 교육훈련, 신규배치로 구분하여 제시하였다. 먼저 모집 및 채용영역에서는 지역실정에 부합한 자치경찰 모집의 필요성과 지방행정의 집행력을 강화하기 위한 특사경 전문가의 확보방안을 제시하였으며, 주민친화적 경찰행정을 구현하기 위한 여성인력 확보방안을 제시하였다. 그리고 채용시험의 직무적 합성 확보방안과 자치경찰사무 관련 자격증에 대한 가산점 부여방안, 개방형공모 제도를 통한 자치경찰대장 임용방안을 제시하였다. 교육훈련 영역에서는 지역 내 자치경찰 교육훈련 기관의 확보방안과 지역대학과의 연계교육을 통한 자치경찰 교육훈련의 실효성 확보방안을 제시하였으며, 자치경찰 전문직무교육 과정을 제시하였다. 끝으로 신규배치 영역에서는 지역출신자들에 대한 우선배치의 필요성과 자치경찰의 전문성 확보를 위한 제한적 배치방안을 제시하였으며, 국가경찰과의 정기적 인사교류의 필요성을 강조하였다.

계산과학 분야의 교육 및 융합연구 지원을 위한 EDISON 플랫폼 (EDISON Platform to Supporting Education and Integration Research in Computational Science)

  • 최근에는 응용과학 분야의 교육 및 연구에 실제 실험이 아닌 슈퍼컴퓨터 및 고성능 네트워크 기반의 사이버 인프라에서 과학적 가정에 의해 복잡한 공학문제를 수치적 모델링과 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 해결하는 계산과학을 이용하는 기법들의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨팅 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용한 실험 체험형 교육의 일환으로, 이공계 교수, 학생, 연구자, 산업체 인력 등이 사이버 인프라스트럭처 기반으로 시뮬레이션 SW를 활용한 교육 및 융합연구를 지원하는 EDISON 플랫폼을 제시한다. EDISON 플랫폼은 사용자들에게 보다 쉽고, 편하고, 효과적인 서비스 제공을 위해 3계층(EDISON 응용 프레임워크, EDISON 미들웨어, EDISON 인프라 자원)으로 구성되고 5개 분야(열유체, 화학, 물리, 구조동역학, 전산설계) 문제해결 환경을 위한 교육 연구용 웹 포털 서비스를 제공한다.

초등 정보과 교육과정 표준모델을 위한 정보통신 교육과정 탐구 (A Study of Information and Communications Framework for Information Education Curriculum Standard Model)

  • 초등 정보과 교육과정 내용에서의 정보통신 영역에 대한 교육을 위해 이전 연구 자료들을 살펴보고, 새로운 개선 및 내용 선정의 적합성을 조사 및 분석하였다. 전국 초등 컴퓨터교육과 교수들을 대상으로 교육내용체계의 중요도와 교육 시기의 적절성을 검토하였고, 검토 결과를 바탕으로 3차 델파이조사 검증을 통해 평가하여 최종적으로 교육 내용을 선정하고, 핵심개념 요소들, 성취기준 등을 마련하여 제안한다. 제안된 초등 정보과 교육과정에서의 정보통신 영역에 대한 교육내용 편성 및 성취기준은 세부적인 초등 정보과 교육과정의 재구성과 개선에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Coverage of Entry-Level CHES Responsibilities and Competencies Developed in the United States by Health Education-related Professional Preparation Programs in Japan

  • This study assessed 1) the coverage of the entry-level responsibilities and competencies for certified health education specialists (CHES) developed in the United States (U.S.) by 140 current health education-related professional preparation programs in Japan, and 2) barriers and concerns related to the development of Japanese health educators. A cross-sectional survey study was conducted to Japanese professors teaching health education-related courses at 4-year universities/colleges in Japan. All entry-level CHES responsibilities and competencies were generally covered to different degrees by the study respondents. The top 3 responsibilities most emphasized by the respondents were Responsibilities I, related to need assessment skills, Responsibility II, related to planning health education programs, and Responsibility III, related to implement health education programs. The 3 competencies most frequently covered by the respondents were related to needs assessment skills (Competencies 1-3). The competencies least covered by the respondents were those related to Responsibilities V (Competencies 1619). Other competencies related to role modeling, cultural competencies, and planning youth health education programs, were recommended. In addition, the major concerns and opinions that the respondents reported for this topic pertained to 1) Professional training, 2) The need for well-defined professional roles, and 3) The importance of licensing. The results suggested that Japanese health education-related programs cover all CHES responsibilities and competencies developed in the U.S. to different degrees. However, they tend to focus more on needs assessment, planning and implementing health education programs. Although possible responsibilities for future Japanese health educators were recommended, further research to identify the most appropriate responsibilities and competencies for this profession is needed. Major barriers, concerns and opinions reported by the respondents should be discussed at future meetings for this profession.

마켓 KU 프로젝트 (Market KU Project)

  • The current design paradigm shift which has been in progress around the world would be a good opportunity for Korea, which has led the age of information, to build design competence and gain international competitiveness. In addition, it would be a good idea for colleges as well as firms to develop a new educational system and create academia-industry-research synergy. This paper researches the market KU project promoted by Design Venture KU which has been established by the College of Artand Design of Konkuk University as a part of differentiation strategy. The methods to improve the competitiveness of Korean fashion design by uniting college creativity and market practicality are as follows: First, for convergence of creativity and practicality, it is necessary to come up with a systematic design-based educational system. In other words, the undergraduate program needs to gradually expand courses by focusing on creativity instead of functions while the graduate program should be able to develop design pattern, textile and marketing products and secure the market to gain competitiveness as a business incubator. Second, the working-level engineers as well as professors will be encouraged to participate in special lectures or seminars and take necessary lessons. In addition, academia-industry cooperation courses will be further strengthened. It is also important to actively participate in an official contest or exhibition and receive a prize. Third, to elicit creativity from students, it is necessary to help them think in a flexible and experimental way with voluntary and interesting programs. As mentioned above, it is expected that 'Market KU Project' would help students build expertise by offering them a chance to experience the real world and become the world's leading designers in Korean fashion design.

일본에 있어서 공과대학과 공업고등학교간 연계 프로그램의 현황과 과제 - 나가사키 대학교를 중심으로 (The Status and Issues of a Educational Coordination Program between the Technical High School and the Faculty of Engineering in Japan - A Case of Nagasaki University)

  • 일본에 있어서, 공업고등학교 졸업생의 대학진학은 정책적으로 평생학습 관점에서 추진되고 있다. 따라서 공과대학은 이제까지 고등학교에서 대학에의 계통성을 기본으로 한 교육방법을 크게 개혁시킬 필요가 생기고 있다. 나가사키대학교에서는 1995년도부터 공업고등학교 졸업생의 틀별입학이 시작되었다. 현재, $\ulcorner$공학력$\lrcorner$ 양성이라는 새로운 교육-학습 모델 아래서, 특히 보습교육에 의한 기초학력 강화를 중시하고 있다. 학생 개인의 학습이력이나 수업을 관찰하면서, 학생의 실태에 맞는 수업실천과 교재개발을 검토하고, 공업고교 교사와 대학교수가 함께 추진하고 있다.

SEG Based Engineering Education Innovation: A Case Study on GNTECH-ICEE

  • GNTECH-ICEE, which this study seeks to investigate and evaluate, demonstrates a new system of training innovative engineers. An essential component of this operation is a Small Engineering Group (SEG) that links professors, students and industrial experts together, to study and apply different techniques in determining the processes and products that relate industrial sectors needs. As an education program, SEG also provides a right direction for educating students, and generates industry-university link based human resources. Through these efforts, GNTECH-ICEE has effectively trained creative, professional, and practical engineers, by operating a variety of programs for meeting industrial needs and enhancing engineering education. SEG has many merits that have influenced its success so far, but the program also faces some challenges. The merits include; strong group bondage, practical ability incubation, and efficient administrative support. In terms of demerits, it is evident that sufficient theoretical education and local small-middle size enterprises (SMEs)' sustainable participation cannot be warranted. Thus, we propose that initiative strategies have been helpful to maximize GNTECH-ICEE's goal of making students into multi-player engineer, but continuously financial and administrative strategies be put into place in order to guarantee SMEs' long-term devotion to the program, and to help create a sustainable network between students and the companies involved.
