In robot system, the robot manipulation needs the information of task and objects to be handled in possessing a variaty of positions and orientations. In the current industrial robot system, determining position and orientation of objects under industrial environments is one of major problems. In order to pick up an object, the roblt needs the information about the position and orientation of object, and between objects and gripper. When sensing is accomplished by pinhole model camera, the mathematical relationship between object points and their images is expressed in terms of perspective, i.e., central projection. In this paper, a new approach to determine the information of the supporting points related to position and orientation of the object using the robot vision system is developed and testified in experimental setup. The result will be useful for the industrial, agricultural, and autonomous robot.

RAMS is becoming increasingly important in the decision making process for the rolling stock projects in order to improve competitiveness by reducing system life cycle cost while improving reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. In order to apply and manage RAMS of rolling stock systems effectively in the operator perspective, it is essential to integrate and control RAMS systematically from the early stage of rolling stock projects. RAMS management is to implement a RAMS system into rolling stock projects in terms of a rolling stock operator, which presents the strategic directions of RAMS policy, objectives, requirements, control, analysis, measurement and improvement throughout life cycle of rolling stock projects. This article presents a new framework of RAMS management that provides an effective and efficient way for managing RAMS in rolling stock systems in the railway industry.

Vision is the most important sensing capability for both men and sensory smart machines, such as intelligent robots. Sensed real 3D world and its 2D camera image can be related mathematically by a process called camera calibration. In this paper, we present a novel linear solution of camera calibration. Unlike most existing linear calibration methods, the proposed technique of this paper can identify camera parameters explicitly. Through the step-by-step procedure of the proposed method, the real physical elements of the perspective projection transformation matrix between 3D points and the corresponding 2D image points can be identified. This explicit solution will be useful for many practical 3D sensing applications including robotics. We verified the proposed method by using various cameras of different conditions.

In France, arbitration, both domestic and international, has recently been subjected to a major reform. This article discusses the content of the 2011 reform and its aftermath, while putting into perspective the current arbitration act in South Korea, an arbitration-friendly jurisdiction that contemplates reforming its own law. The two legal systems are characterized by their concern for efficiency and rationalization of the arbitration proceedings, through the codification of essential principles previously established by case law and through the promotion of the independence of this ADR vis-$\grave{a}$-vis state courts. The efficiency consideration is strengthened at every stage of the proceedings: from the arbitration agreement often considered valid and rarely challenged, through the proceedings for annulment, recognition and enforcement of the award, up to the judicial assistance of the French supporting judge towards the actual arbitral proceedings. Finally, new concerns are emerging: the increase of transparency and the arbitrability of disputes in some uncertain fields of law.

Recently introduced by the major credit card associations as replacements for the decommissioned SET and 3DSET protocols, the new payment models, 3DSecure and UCAF/SPA, have been designed to provide online merchants with a solution to an existing problem in online credit card transactions - the lack of an effective and efficient means of authenticating cardholders. The expected benefits arising from this added level of security from the merchant′s perspective are increased consumer confidence, significant reduction in the levels of fraud and charge backs and "liability shift". Using data gleaned from preliminary interviews, discussion forums and promotional material, we present a critical analysis of the potential barriers and facilitators that will impact on the widespread traction of these programs in the marketplace in the coming years.

Post industrial technologies have improved human standard of living, however, a host of negative environmental consequences from the unlimited industrial appetite have posed serious global challenges. Remanufacturing is an industrial manufacturing process that is to restore old products to perform like a new and to save energy, natural resources, landfill space and to reduce air pollution by less re-smelting. By extending product life cycle, remanufacturing gives us enormous opportunities for sustainable development of our society. This paper introduces current state of the art and future perspective in the field of automotive remanufacturing focusing on alternator and start motor. The results could be used as a basic information for further remanufacturing applications in Korea.

This paper presents performance monitoring results of large scale photovoltaic (PV) system supported by general dissemination & regional energy program in korea government polices for new and renewable energy resources. 80kW PV system and monitoring system is constructed and monitored PV system performance to observe the overall effect of environmental conditions on their operation characteristics. The PV system performance has been evaluated and analyzed for component perspective (PV array and power conditioning unit) and global perspective (system efficiency, capacity factor, and electrical power energy and power quality etc.) for six month monitoring periods.

Performance evaluation has been done using financial indices which are generally regarded as inappropriate for the organizations which are innovative and progressive. Thus, the Balanced Scorecard(BSC) was developed considering long term performance and invisible performance. This BSC has four perspectives of finance, customer, internal operation, and learning. Based on the BSC, a new BSC has been derived with a fifth view of environmental and social perspective, which is now called as a Sustainability BSC. In this study, we evaluated Green IT initiatives using the Sustainability BSC. The initiatives are categorized as RFID, telepresence, paperless office, logistics management etc. The initiatives were evaluated from the view of five perspectives, resulting in high cor relationships among finance, internal operation, and environmental and social perspectives. Namely, good initiatives from the view of environmental/social perspective are also evaluated as good from the view of finance and internal operation perspectives. In this study, we recommend organizations to introduce Green IT initiatives by showing how Green IT initiatives have contributed to the organizations.

An improved inverse perspective mapping (IIPM) is proposed so as to reduce computational expense of recovery of 3D road surface. An experimental system based on IIPM is developed to detect lane parameters for a driver assistant system. A re-organized image is obtained quickly and exactly by IIPM. Efficient preprocessing techniques are used to enhance the information of lane and obstacles. Lane in the preprocessed. image is located with region identification. Lane parameters are estimated effectively. An algorithm to adaptively modify the parameters of IIPM is given. Properties of obstacle on 3D road surface are discussed and used to detect obstacles in the current lane and neighboring lanes. Experimental results show that the new method can extract lane state information effectively.

The purpose of this study was to discuss leisure program to guarantee the leisure right of the elderly. In order to study on the change of leisure perspective and the existence of leisure need, it has based on the leisure program of the elderly in welfare institutions. It was suggested that; The contents of leisure program of the elderly would contain the change of leisure perspective, discovery of leisure need, improvement of the elderly's function(physical health, psychological satisfaction, and social relations), and development of new interest. In specific context, it was varied from the conditions and environments(space or equipment) in each institutes.
