This study focuses to enhance the general understanding on the new approach and to provide a clue for a new paradigm in man-made physical and residential environment of the 21st Century. Through case analysis, this study aims to examine the characteristics of digital culture itself and of its physical and residential environment and to ultimately forecast the changeability of physical and residential environment prompted by the new digital wave. Without having precedent study about digital culture related to environmental issues, this study aimed to analyze the effect of digital culture in the field of physical environment and residential environment, and to forecast the changability in those fields. On the other hand, this study also atoned to be applicable in construction of a new paradigm in designing physical & residential environment in the near future, so as to contribute to the development of a new environment which will eventually improve the quality of human life.

User and media are in close coalition with each other in the 21st century's era of New-Media. The new users exposed to the New-Media environment have a complete understanding of the digital media environment, and are also taking on the role of an active identity in the formation of culture in new media. In the field of spatial design, creative spatial interfaces designed through various methods derived from the New-Media environment and technology that weren't even imaginable in the past ultimately came to exist in a mutual relationship with the user, the people. This study is in the same context as studies looking into the establishment of design in media art and digital media space in the New-Media environment. Media art is an outcome arising from the demand towards new art combined with the attempts towards accepting various media as a means for artistic expression. Media art seizes to being a mere part of art, but more. This study aims to look into the theoretical basis of New-Media and define the design process through the expressional characteristics and triggered thoughts thereof. Lastly, the results of the research will be put together to produce the final results. Such analysis process will be the basis of the creation of a new paradigm and spatial thought, and allow people to be concerned about the various changes in spatial formation.

Since the first sewage treatment plant had been in operation in 1976, the Korean water industry was in the logarithmic growing stage corresponded with the country's rapid economic expansion up to late 1990's. Unfortunately, however, the current industry status seems to require not only new paradigm for water environment but the development of new growth engine, since there are various warning signals for stalling growth from the field engineers to policy makers. Because of sharing of the awareness, the Korean government recently launched an ambitious development policy for water industry. This paper describes the new paradigm-shift in water environment in view point of the water as renewable resources. Based on the new paradigm, it has been suggested the prerequisite conditions to meet for the development of a new Korean water industry.

A conventional environment adaptation for robust speech recognition is usually conducted using transform-based techniques. Here, we present a discriminative adaptation strategy based on a multi-condition-trained model, and propose a new method to provide universal application to a new environment using the environment's specific conditions. Experimental results show that a speech recognition system adapted using the proposed method works successfully for other conditions as well as for those of the new environment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of nursing work environment and social support on the reality shock of new graduate nurses in university hospitals. Methods: The subjects were 153 new graduate nurses with less than 12 months of clinical experience at two university hospitals in the G province, and data were collected from September 15 to October 7, 2020. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program for frequency, average, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression. Results: Factors influencing reality shock were nursing work environment (β=-.39, p<.001) and social support (β=-.25, p=.002), and gender (female) (β=.20, p=.001), and the explanatory power was 44.8% (F=9.99, p=.002). Conclusion: Our study shows that nursing work environment and social support play an important role in the reality shock of new graduate nurses. It is important to strengthen nursing work environment and social support to alleviate the reality shock of new graduate nurses. The findings of this study may serve as a basis for developing strategies for mitigating the reality shock of new graduate nurses.

Recently, a new revised national curriculum('2007 Revised') of the 'Environment' subject for middle and high schools was announced, which is namely the 7th revised national curriculum. In the new national curriculum, the name of the 'environment' subject for middle schools has been unchanged, but the name of the subject for high schools has been changed from the 'Ecosystem & Environment' to 'Environment'. And some of the contents have been revised to incorporate the changed status of environmental education areas since the last announcement of the 'Environment' curriculum, which was in the late of 1997. Especially, in this new curriculum, the concept of the 'Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)' was implemented. The purpose of this research is to investigate the process of developing the new 'Environment' curriculum for middle and high schools and to examine the resulted, new revised curriculum. In order to do these, this research examined the main directions of the revision, compared the new announced curriculum with the current and the proposed one, which was researched by the authors in this article. And this research discussed the process and the announced results of the revised national curriculum of the 'Environment' subject.

With the popularization of mobile devices, the number of social network service users is increasing, thereby the amount of data is also increasing accordingly. As Internet of Things environment is expanding to connect things and people, there is information much more than before. In such an environment, it becomes very important to recommend the necessary information to the user. In this paper, we propose a recommendation method that considers new users in IoT environment. In the proposed method, we recommend the information by applying the centrality-based social network analysis method to the recommendation method using the social relationships in the social IoT. We describe the seven-step recommendation method and apply them to the music circle scenario of the IoT environment. Through the music circle scenario, we show that we can recommend more suitable information to new users in the IoT environment than the existing recommendation method.
