In this paper, we propose multiple component neural network(MCNN) which learn partitioned patterns in each multiple component neural networks by reducing dimensions of input pattern vector using PCA (principal component analysis). Procesed neural network use Oja's rule that has a role of PCA, output patterns are used a slearning patterns on small component neural networks and we call it CBP. For simply not solved patterns in a network, we solves it by regenerating new CBP neural networks and by performing dynamic partitioned pattern learning. Simulation results shows that proposed MCNN neural networks are very small size networks and have very fast learning speed compared with multilayer neural network EBP.
Neural network technique is widely employed in the fields of signal processing, control systems, pattern recognition, etc. Learning of neural networks is an important procedure to accomplish dynamic system modeling. This paper presents a novel learning approach for differential neural network models based on the Kalman-Bucy filter theory. We construct an augmented state vector including original neural state and parameter vectors and derive a state estimation rule avoiding gradient function terms which involve to the conventional neural learning methods such as a back-propagation approach. We carry out numerical simulation to evaluate the proposed learning approach in nonlinear system modeling. By comparing to the well-known back-propagation approach and Kalman-Bucy filtering, its superiority is additionally proved under stochastic system environments.
A new neural networks and learning algorithm are proposed in order to measure nonlinear heights of complexed road environments in realtime without pre-information. This new neural networks is Error Self Recurrent Neural Networks(ESRN), The structure of it is similar to recurrent neural networks: a delayed output as the input and a delayed error between the output of plant and neural networks as a bias input. In addition, we compute the desired value of hidden layer by an optimal method instead of transfering desired values by back-propagation and each weights are updated by RLS(Recursive Least Square). Consequently. this neural networks are not sensitive to initial weights and a learning rate, and have a faster convergence rate than conventional neural networks. We can estimate nonlinear models in realtime by ESRN and learning algorithm and control nonlinear models. To show the performance of this one. we control 7 degree of freedom full car model with several control method. From this simulation. this estimation and controller were proved to be effective to the measurements of nonlinear road environment systems.
Implementation of memristor-based multilayer neural networks and their hardware-based learning architecture is investigated in this paper. Two major functions of neural networks which should be embedded in synapses are programmable memory and analog multiplication. "Memristor", which is a newly developed device, has two such major functions in it. In this paper, multilayer neural networks are implemented with memristors. A Random Weight Change algorithm is adopted and implemented in circuits for its learning. Its hardware-based learning on neural networks is two orders faster than its software counterpart.
Recently, deep learning and machine learning have attracted considerable attention and many supporting frameworks appeared. In artificial intelligence field, a large body of research is underway to apply the relevant knowledge for complex problem-solving, necessitating the application of various learning algorithms and training methods to artificial intelligence systems. In addition, there is a dearth of performance evaluation of decision making agents. The decision making agent that can find optimal solutions by using reinforcement learning methods designed through this research can collect raw pixel data observed from dynamic environments and make decisions by itself based on the data. The decision making agent uses convolutional neural networks to classify situations it confronts, and the data observed from the environment undergoes preprocessing before being used. This research represents how the convolutional neural networks and the decision making agent are configured, analyzes learning performance through a value-based algorithm and a policy-based algorithm : a Deep Q-Networks and a Policy Gradient, sets forth their differences and demonstrates how the convolutional neural networks affect entire learning performance when using pixel data. This research is expected to contribute to the improvement of artificial intelligence systems which can efficiently find optimal solutions by using features extracted from raw pixel data.
Recently Neural Network techniques have widely used in adaptive and learning control schemes for production systems. However, generally it costs a lot of time for learning in the case applied in control system. Furthermore, the physical meaning of neural networks constructed as a result is not obvious. And this method has been used as a learning algorithm to estimate the parameter of a neural network used for identification of the process dynamics of s signal input and signal output system and it was shown that this method offered superior capability over the conventional back propagation algorithm. This controller is designed by using three-layered neural networks. The effectiveness of the proposed Neural Network-based control scheme is investigated through an application for a production control system. This control method can enable a plant to operate smoothy and obviously as the plant condition varies with any unexpected accident. This paper goal estimate input signal about controller using neural networks.

MNIST dataset is a database containing images of handwritten digits, with each image labeled by an integer from 0 to 9. It is used to benchmark the performance of machine learning algorithms. Neural networks for MNIST are regarded as the starting point of the studying machine learning algorithms. However it is not easy to start the actual programming. In this expository article, we will give a step-by-step instruction to build neural networks for MNIST dataset using MATLAB.
Learning procedure in the neural network is updating of weights between neurons. Unadequate initial learning coefficient causes excessive iterations of learning process or incorrect learning results and degrades learning efficiency. In this paper, adaptive learning algorithm is proposed to increase the efficient in the learning algorithms of Kohonens Self-Organization Neural networks. The algorithm updates the weights adaptively when learning procedure runs. To prove the efficiency the algorithm is experimented to clustering of the random weight. The result shows improved learning rate about 42~55% ; less iteration counts with correct answer.

This paper presents adaptive learning data of evolvable neural networks (ENNs) for time series prediction of nonlinear dynamic systems. ENNs are a special class of neural networks that adopt the concept of biological evolution as a mechanism of adaptation or learning. ENNs can adapt to an environment as well as changes in the enviromuent. ENNs used in this paper are L-system and DNA coding based ENNs. The ENNs adopt the evolution of simultaneous network architecture and weights using indirect encoding. In general just previous data are used for training the predictor that predicts future data. However the characteristics of data and appropriate size of learning data are usually unknown. Therefore we propose adaptive change of learning data size to predict the future data effectively. In order to verify the effectiveness of our scheme, we apply it to chaotic time series predictions of Mackey-Glass data.
