검지자료합성을 통한 도시간선도로 실시간 통행시간 추정모형 (On-Line Travel Time Estimation Methods using Hybrid Neuro Fuzzy System for Arterial Road)

  • 본 연구는 지점검지체계와 구간검지체계와의 자료합성을 통하여 도심 간선도로 및 지방도로 구간별 효과척도를 산정할 뿐만 아니라 유고검지 및 통행패턴 예측, 네트워크 기종점에 대한 최적/최단 경로를 탐색하는데 기초가 되는 구간 통행시간 추정을 수행한다. 개개 수집원의 자료합성을 위해 퍼지이론과 인공신경 망의 합성모형인 FALEM(Fuzzy Adaptive Learning Estimator for travel time from Multi-information sources)을 개발, 개발된 모형 FALEM에 의해 개개구간의 통행시간을 산출하고 동일시간, 동일구간에서 조사된 실측데이터와의 오차율 비교를 통해 추정된 통행시간을 검증하였다. 테스트 환경은 개발모형에 의해 추정된 구간 통행시간의 적용성을 고려하여 실시간 운영하에서 수행되었다.

Application of an Optimized Support Vector Regression Algorithm in Short-Term Traffic Flow Prediction

  • The prediction of short-term traffic flow is the theoretical basis of intelligent transportation as well as the key technology in traffic flow induction systems. The research on short-term traffic flow prediction has showed the considerable social value. At present, the support vector regression (SVR) intelligent prediction model that is suitable for small samples has been applied in this domain. Aiming at parameter selection difficulty and prediction accuracy improvement, the artificial bee colony (ABC) is adopted in optimizing SVR parameters, which is referred to as the ABC-SVR algorithm in the paper. The simulation experiments are carried out by comparing the ABC-SVR algorithm with SVR algorithm, and the feasibility of the proposed ABC-SVR algorithm is verified by result analysis. Continuously, the simulation experiments are carried out by comparing the ABC-SVR algorithm with particle swarm optimization SVR (PSO-SVR) algorithm and genetic optimization SVR (GA-SVR) algorithm, and a better optimization effect has been attained by simulation experiments and verified by statistical test. Simultaneously, the simulation experiments are carried out by comparing the ABC-SVR algorithm and wavelet neural network time series (WNN-TS) algorithm, and the prediction accuracy of the proposed ABC-SVR algorithm is improved and satisfactory prediction effects have been obtained.

Cell Transmission 이론을 이용한 동적통행배정기법 개발에 관한 연구 (The Development of A Dynamic Traffic Assignment Technique using the Cell Transmission Theory)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기존 동적통행배정모형의 접근 기법과는 달리 교통류이론을 이용하여 동적분석모형을 구축하고, 이 모형에 적합한 동적통행배정기법을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 동적교통류 모델 중 동적통행배정에 가장 적합하다고 판단되는 Daganzo의 cell transmission theory를 이용하여 동적분석모형을 구축하였으며, 동적통행배정기법인 분류부분할모델, 비용갱신모듈, 링크비용함수모듈을 새롭게 개발하였다. 또한 Daganzo가 명확하게 제시하지 않은 최대대기시간 결정 알고리듬을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 구축한 모형을 가상의 네트워크에 적용한 결과 병목구간분석, HOV타로 효과분석등은 교통특성을 현실적으로 반영하고 있다. 통행배정결과는 수학적 기법을 적용한 동적통행배정모형과 같이 완전한 균형(equibriun)상태의 해를 보여주지 못하지만, 노선별 평균통행시간이 시간대별로 비슷하게 유지해나가는 결과를 보이고 있다. 본 모형은 고속도로 합류부 및 분류부의 교통특성분석, HOV 효과분석, TCS 및 램프미터링과 접목하여 고속도로 운영에 이용될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

Examining Driver Compliance Behaviour at Signalised Intersection for Developing Conceptual Model of Driving Simulation

  • A conceptual model represents an understanding of a system that is going to be developed, which in this research, a driving simulation software to study driver behavior at signalised intersections. Therefore, video observation was conducted to examine driver compliance behaviour within the dilemma zone at signalised intersection, pertaining to driver's distance from the stop line during yellow light interval. The video was analysed using Thematic Analysis and the data extracted from it was analysed using Chi-Square Independent Test. The Thematic Analysis revealed two major themes which were traffic situation and driver compliance behaviour. Traffic situation is defined as traffic surrounding the driver, such as no car in front and behind, car in front, and car behind. Meanwhile, the Chi-Square Test result indicates that within the dilemma zone, there was a significant relationship between driver compliance behaviour and driver's distance from the stop line during yellow light interval. The closer the drivers were to the stop line, the more likely they were going to comply. In contrast, drivers showed higher noncompliant behavior when further away from stop line. This finding could help us in the development of conceptual model of driving simulation with purpose of studying driver behavior.

VMS 자동제어 알고리즘 설계 (Conceptual Design of Automatic Control Algorithm for VMSs)

  • 현재 국내 VMS 운영은 대체로 소극적 정보제공에 머물고 있으며, 정보제공 우선순위. 조합 가능한 메시지 집합 등이 포함된 간단한 형태의 지식기반 추론엔진 방식에 의하고 있다. 또한 VMS 관련 연구도 해당도로의 상황을 정확히 검지하고 예측하는 방법론 개발에 집중되어 있다. 그러나 VMS도 적극적 운영을 통하여 교통관리의 수단으로 활용해야 하며, 이에 있는 그대로 상황을 전달하는 현 Practice에서 진일보한 전략적 정보제공 기술이 개발되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 네트워크 차원의 교통관리를 목적으로 한 VMS 자동제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 외란의 불확실성과 모형의 정확도에 강한(robust) 피드백 제어방식을 채택하였고, 알고리즘은 시스템 최적 달성을 목표로 설정한 여유용량 균등화 Regulator와 VMS Display 모듈로 구성된다. 여유용량의 산정은 도로용량편람의 용량 개념과 차별화 되는 개념을 제안하였으며 이 부분에 대한 구체적 산정방식의 개발은 향후과제로 남겨두었다. 두 개의 대안경로로 구성된 실제 도로망에 대한 모의실험을 통하여. 여유용량균등화 Regulator에 의한 통행 재배분 효과를 제한적으로나마 살펴보았다. 그러나 VMS Display Strategy 모듈에 의한 실제 통행배분 행태는 모의실험의 한계성으로 인하여 검증하지 못하였으며 이를 향후과제로 남겨두었다.

Performance Test of Broadcast-RTK System in Korea Region Using Commercial High-Precision GNSS Receiver for Autonomous Vehicle

  • Autonomous vehicles require precise knowledge of their position, velocity and orientation in all weather and traffic conditions in any time. And, these information is effectively used for path planning, perception, and control that are key factors for safety of vehicle driving. For this purpose, a high precision GNSS technology is widely adopted in autonomous vehicles as a core localization and navigation method. However, due to the lack of infrastructure as well as cost issue regarding GNSS correction data communication, only a few high precision GNSS technology will be available for future commercial autonomous vehicles. Recently, a high precision GNSS sensor that is based on a Broadcast-RTK system to dramatically reduce network maintenance cost by utilizing the existing broadcasting network is released. In this paper, we present the performance test result of the broadcast-RTK-based commercial high precision GNSS receiver to test the feasibility of the system for autonomous driving in Korea. Massive measurement campaigns covering of Korea region were performed, and the obtained measurements were analyzed in terms of ambiguity fixing rate, integer ambiguity loss recovery, time to retry ambiguity fixing, average correction information update rate as well as accuracy in comparison to other high precision systems.

타부 리스트가 결합된 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 트리형 네트워크의 경제적 설계 (Economic Design of Tree Network Using Tabu List Coupled Genetic Algorithms)

  • This paper considers an economic design problem of a tree-based network which is a kind of computer network. This problem can be modeling to be an objective function to minimize installation costs, on the constraints of spanning tree and maximum traffic capacity of sub tree. This problem is known to be NP-hard. To efficiently solve the problem, a tabu list coupled genetic algorithm approach is proposed. Two illustrative examples are used to explain and test the proposed approach. Experimental results show evidence that the proposed approach performs more efficiently for finding a good solution or near optimal solution in comparison with a genetic algorithm approach.

An efficient dynamic routing scheme for delay-bounded multicasting

  • The purpose of multicasting is to reduce the network costs for transmitting the same traffic to multiple destinations. In this paper, an efficient delay-bounded multicasting routing algorithm is proposed, which satistifies the network conditions of cost minimization and can adjust the dynamic events, such as 'leave and/or join ones' from the multicast group. Also, our algorithm is designed for various network requirements such as the efficiet dynamic group support, high-quality data distribution, and adaptability to variable situation. After the delay tolerance and the maximum group size are determined according to network state and requirements for delay and cost, the dynamic delay-bounded multicast tree is constructed using partial multicast routing. We evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm by running simulations on randomly generated test networks using a Sun Sparc 20 workstation. We were able to obtain good simulation resutls, which means solutions that lies between the minimum cost solution and the minimum delay one.

차세대 mBcN을 위한 5G+ 연동보안게이트웨이 (A Cooperative Security Gateway cooperating with 5G+ network for next generation mBcN)

  • 차기 mBcN에서는 초고속·초연결을 지원할 수 있는 무선망과 연계할 수 있도록 구축되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 5G 무선망과 mBcN의 연계하기 위한 연동망 구조와 연동에 필요한 연동보안게이트웨이의 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 연동보안게이트웨이는 gNB와 UPF의 사이에 위치하며 LBO 기능, SFC 기능 및 다양한 보안 기능을 제공한다. 제안하는 연동망 구조 및 연동보안게이트웨이를 통해 다양한 이점을 확보할 수 있다. 첫 번째는 mBcN망과 연결이 필요한 사용자 단말은 5G망의 무선망을 활용하여 mBcN망과 연결할 수 있다. 두 번째는 mBcN으로 전달되는 트래픽은 5G 코어망을 경유하지 않고 mBcN으로 전송되어 5G 코어망에 망부하를 야기하지 않으면서 종단간 전송 지연을 감소시킬 수 있다. 마지막으로 군응용체계 패킷이 5G코어망으로 전파되지 않고 연동 보안게이트웨이와 연결된 기지국을 통해서만 mBcN과 연결할 수 있어 보안을 유지할 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서는 5G 테스트배드 환경에서 실험을 통해 제안하는 연동 보안 게이트웨이의 LBO 기능, SFC 기능 및 보안모듈의 기능을 제공 가능함을 제시한다.

Approach towards qualification of TCP/IP network components of PFBR

  • Distributed control system architecture is adopted for I&C systems of Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor, where the geographically distributed control systems are connected to centralized servers & display stations via switched Ethernet networks. TCP/IP communication plays a significant role in the successful operations of this architecture. The communication tasks at control nodes are taken care by TCP/IP offload modules; local area switched network is realized using layer-2/3 switches, which are finally connected to network interfaces of centralized servers & display stations. Safety, security, reliability, and fault tolerance of control systems used for safety-related applications of nuclear power plants is ensured by indigenous design and qualification as per guidelines laid down by regulatory authorities. In the case of commercially available components, appropriate suitability analysis is required for getting the operation clearances from regulatory authorities. This paper details the proposed approach for the suitability analysis of TCP/IP communication nodes, including control systems at the field, network switches, and servers/display stations. Development of test platform using commercially available tools and diagnostics software engineered for control nodes/display stations are described. Each TCP link behavior with impaired packets and multiple traffic loads is described, followed by benchmarking of the network switch's routing characteristics and security features.
