This paper analyzes performance measures of a Bluetooth_based mobile home network system. The home network system consists of terminals with Bluetooth interfaces, access points (AP), a home PC, and a gateway A mobile host in wireless terminals uses Mobile IP for supporting the mobility This paper considers four types of data traffic, which are new connection traffic, handoff traffic, Internet data traffic, and control data traffic and suggests a queueing system model of the home network system, where the AP and the home PC are modeled as M/G/1 with four priority queues and the gateway is modeled as M/G/1 with a single queue The generation rate and service time of individual traffic influence their performance measures. Based ell the suggested model, we propose the elapsed time of data traffic in terms of the number of cells, the number of Home PCs, arrival rates of four types of traffic and the service rates of AP/Home PCs/Gateway To analyze influences on the elapsed time with respect to arrival rate of four types of traffic, some examples are given.
In an urban network controlled by traffic signals, there is an interaction between the signal timing and the routes chosen by individual road users. This study develops a bi level programming model for traffic signal optimization in networks with path based traffic assignment. In the bi level programming model, genetic algorithm approach has been proposed to solve upper level problem for a signalized road network. Path based traffic assignment using column generation technique which is proposed by M.H. Xu, is applied at the lower-level. Genetic Algorithm provieds a feasible set of signal timings within specified lower and upper bounds signal timing variables and feeds into lower level problem. The performance of this model is investigated in numerical experiment in a sample network. In result, optimal signal settings and user equilibrium flows are made.
Solar power generation influenced by the weather. Using the weather forecast information, it is possible to predict the short-term solar power generation in the future. However, in limited circumstances such as islands or mountains, it can not be use weather forecast information by the disconnection of the network, it is impossible to use solar power generation prediction model using weather forecast. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a system that can predict the short-term solar power generation by using the information that can be collected by the system itself. We developed a short-term prediction model using the prior information of temperature and power generation amount to improve the accuracy of the prediction. We showed the usefulness of proposed prediction model by applying to actual solar power generation data.

In this paper, we evaluated performance of mobile exchange control part. Queueing network model is used for modeling of mobile exchange control part. We developed a call control processing and location registration scenartio which has a message exchange function between processors in mobile exchange control part. A network symbol are used the simulation models that are composed of the initialization module, message generation module, message routing module, message processing module, message generation module, HIPC network processing module, output analysis module. as a result of computer simulation, we obtain the processor utilization, the mean queue length, the mean waiting time of control part based on call processing and location registration capacity. The call processing and location registration capacity is referred by thenumber of call attempts in the mobile exchange and must be satisfied with the quality of service(delay time).
Bandwidth Trading(BT) represents a potential market with over 1 trillion USD across the world and high growth potential. BT is also likely to accelerate globalization of the telecommunications industry and massive restructuring driven by unbundling rush. However, systematic researches on BT remain at an infant stage. This study starts with structure analysis of the Internet industry, and discusses significance of Internet interconnection with respect to BT Issues. We also describe the bandwidth commoditization trends and review technical requirements for effective Internet interconnection with BT capability. Taking a step further, this study explores the possibility of improving efficiency of network providers and increasing user convenience by developing an architectural prototype of Hub-&-Spoke interconnection model required to facilitate BT. The BT market provides an Innovative base to ease rigidity of two-party contract and Increase service efficiency. However, as fair, efficient operation by third party is required, this research finally proposes an exchanging hub named NIBX(New Internet Business eXchange).

Large-scale applications, that needs large-capacity R&D resources and realtime data transmission, have demanded more stable and high-performance network environment than current Internet environments. Recently, global R&D networks have focuses on utilizing Lambda networking technologies and resource reservation systems to be satisfied with various applications' requirements. In this paper, we modify the existing DRS (Dynamic Right-Sizing) model to reflect various advantages in terms of the stability and high-capacity of Lambda network. In addition, we suggest the design methodology of high-performance Lambda network, which can integrate NRPS (Network Resource Provisioning System) into our modified DRS model.
This paper proposes a music generation technique that automatically generates trot music using a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) model composed of a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). The proposed method uses a method of creating a chord as a skeleton of the music, creating a melody and bass in stages based on the chord progression made, and attaching it to the corresponding chord to complete the structured piece. Also, a new chorus chord progression is created from the verse chord progression by applying the characteristics of a trot song that repeats the structure divided into an individual section, such as intro, verse, and chorus. And it extends the length of the created trot. The quality of the generated music was specified using subjective evaluation and objective evaluation methods. It was confirmed that the generated music has similar characteristics to the existing trot.

Probabilistic distribution functions based data generation method is very effective. Probabilistic distribution functions are defined under the assumption that daily routine contexts are mainly depended on a time-based schedule. However, daily life contexts are frequently determined by previous contexts because contexts have consistency and/or sequential flows. In order to refect previous contexts effect, a situation propagation network is proposed in this paper. As proposed situation propagation network make parameters of related probabilistic distribution functions update, generated contexts can be more realistic and natural. Through the simulation study, proposed context-data generation model generated general outworker's data about 11 daily contexts at home. Generated data are evaluated with respect to reduction of ambiguity and confliction using newly defined indexes of ambiguity and confliction of sequential contexts. In conclusion, in case of combining situation propagation network with probabilistic distribution functions, ambiguity and confliction of data can be reduced 6.45% and 4.60% respectively.

Bibliographic Network has been a goal about not only to support resource sharing within libraries but also to pursue economic efficiency of cataloging. But nowadays, as resources in diverse media and format have been poured out, printed resources based union catalog should change to new resources finding system which include diverse type of resources. This study analyzes changing factors of bibliographic network and strategies for LC, NII, OCLC, NLA who try to turn over a new service. Finally basis on these findings, suggest task for Korean new generation bibliographic network service which is focused on introducing new collaborating model and developing new resource finding system.
Purpose: The performance of global major airports is evaluated and several research questions are examined relative to the measures characterizing airport performance. Methods: The two-stage internal structure of airport performance is considered by decomposing it into physical operations and revenue generation. In the physical operations stage, operating costs, number of runways, terminal area and number of employees are used as inputs, while passenger throughput, cargo throughput and aircraft movements are taken as outputs. Subsequently, in the revenue generation stage, the outputs from the preceding stage are taken as inputs, while revenue is used as output. Results: Based upon this two-stage modeling of airport performance, a multiplicative two-stage network data envelopment analysis model is employed to calculate the overall and stage efficiencies of 59 airports using the recent data in the 2014 Airport Benchmarking Report published by the Air Transport Research Society. Several internal and external factors are also considered such as airport size, airport geographical location, proportion of international passengers, ownership (listed or not) and management style, and statistical analysis is performed to examine their impacts on airport performance. Conclusion: It is shown that the airports exhibit statistically significant difference across regions, and also some statistically significant factors affecting airport performance are identified.
