원형봉에서 사각재 인발 공정의 코너 채움에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Corner Filling in the Drawing of Quadrangle Rod from Round Bar)

  • The comer filling in shaped drawing process is an important characteristic, unlike the round drawing. It has also influence on the dimensional accuracy of the product. In this study, therefore, the shaped drawing process has been simulated by the three dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method in order to investigate the effect of process variables such as reduction in area and semi-die angle to the corner filling. The artificial neural network has also been introduced to reduce the number of simulations. To verify the results of simulations, experiments have been performed on the real industrial products. According to the results, the main process variable on the corner filling is the combination of semi-die angle in the irregular shaped drawing processes, but in the case of regular shaped drawing processes, reduction in area has great influence on the corner filling.

중학생의 소속감 지향성이 심리적 적응 및 친구 네트워크에 미치는 영향력 비교: 소셜 네트워크 분석을 활용한 단기-종단적 분석 (The Effects of Middle School Students' Belongingness Orientation on their Psychological Adaptation and Friend Networks: A Short-term Longitudinal Social Network Analysis)

  • 친밀한 친구 관계를 맺고 소속감을 느끼는 것은 청소년의 심리·사회적 발달 및 적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 소속감 지향성은 소속감을 추구하는 동기로, 성장 지향성과 결핍감소 지향성으로 구분된다. 성장 지향성과 결핍감소 지향성은 심리적 적응 및 대인관계 특성에 서로 다른 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 소속감 지향성이 심리적 적응과 친구 네트워크에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 한 중학교의 2학년 전체 학생을 대상으로 학기 초와 학기 말에 검사를 실시했다. 친구 네트워크는 네트워크 수신 중심성 분석을 통해 측정했다. 다층 회귀모형을 사용한 분석 결과는 첫째, 학기 초의 외로움과 스트레스에 대한 성장 지향성의 효과는 학기 초 친구 네트워크 중심성을 분석 모형에 함께 투입해도 유의했으나, 결핍감소 지향성의 효과는 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 성장 지향성은 학기 말의 친구 네트워크 중심성을 유의하게 예측했다. 이러한 효과는 학기 초 친구 네트워크 중심성과 학기 말 심리적 적응 수준을 분석 모형에 함께 투입해도 유의했다. 셋째, 학기 말의 심리적 적응에 미치는 학기 말의 친구 네트워크 중심성의 효과는 학기 초 및 학기 말의 심리적 적응을 모형에 함께 투입해도 유의했다. 본 연구는 단기-종단적 설계를 통해 소속감 지향성이 청소년의 학기 초와 학기 말의 심리적 적응과 친구 네트워크 수준에 미치는 효과를 경험적으로 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 끝으로, 본 연구의 한계점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의했다.

강소성 유한요소법과 신경망을 이용한 직사각재 인발공정에 관한 연구 (A Studyon the Drawing of Rectangular Rod from Round Bar by using Rigid Plastic FEM and Neural Network)

  • In this study, to analyze the shaped drawing process from round bar, the practical conical die with considering die radius and bearing was defined by a mathematical expression, and also a simple technique for initial mesh generation to the shaped drawing process was proposed. The drawing of rectangular section from round bar, one of the shaped drawing process, has been simulated by using non-steady state 3D rigid plastic finite element method in order to evaluate the influence of semi-die angle and reduction in area to corner filling. Other process variables such as friction constant, rectangular ratio, die radius and bearing length were fixed during the simulation. An artificial neural network has been introduced to obtain the optimal process conditions which gave rise to a fast simulation.

  • Network reconfiguration is an operation task, and consists in the determination of the switching operations such to reach the minimum loss conditions of the distribution network. In this paper, an effective heuristic based switch scheme for loss minimization is given for the optimization of distribution loss reduction and a solution approach is presented. The solution algorithm for loss minimization has been developed based on the two stage solution methodology. The first stage of this solution algorithm sets up a decision tree which represent the various switching operations available, the second stage applies a proposed technique called cyclic best first search. Therefore, the solution algorithm of proposed method can determine on-off switch statuses for loss reduction, with a minimum computational effort.

  • 열교환기의 설치비 및 연간 비용에 주된 영향을 미치는 유틸리티의 소비와 열 교환 장치 수의 최소화를 목적으로 하여 경험법칙을 기초로 한 열교환망 합성 방법을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 열교환망 합성 알고리즘의 특징은 축소된 부문제 생성 기법과 부문제의 해를 구하는 방법에 있으며, 제안한 방법을 문헌에 실린 열교환망 합성 문제에 적용한 결과 이전의 결과보다 열교환장치 및 흐름의 분기등이 감소한 결과를 얻음으로써 본 방법의 우수성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Due to the many attractive aspects of DG in the future power distribution system, distribution automation will be a center hub of integration of the distribution system and resources to satisfy the various needs of customers in a competitive and deregulated environment. In this paper, operation strategies are presented which use network reconfiguration of the automated distribution systems with DG as a real-time operation tool for loss reduction and service restoration from the view of distribution operation. The algorithms and operation strategies of an automated distribution system with DG are introduced to achieve the positive effects of DG in distribution systems. A simple case study shows the effectiveness of the proposed operation strategies.

  • In this paper, we propose the burst error reduction (BER) algorithm for VoIP service in the wireless LAN network. In end point device, this BER algorithm can be achieved packet loss bounded QoS provisioning using interleaving in buffering and FEC (Forward Error Correction) through transmitting voice packet. BER algorithm can reduced the voice packet loss rate 5.5%-60% in VoIP network using wireless LAN.

  • Whenever faults(a fault) occur(s) in a particular section of a distribution system, some of loads get disconnected and are left unsupplied. Service should be restored to these affected load points as quickly as possible through network reconfiguration. An efficient technique is presented in this paper for this purpose. Network reduction and strategy testing the voltage and current constraints are the main contributions of this paper.

Energy optimization of a Sulfur-Iodine thermochemical nuclear hydrogen production cycle

  • The use of nuclear reactors is a large studied possible solution for thermochemical water splitting cycles. Nevertheless, there are several problems that have to be solved. One of them is to increase the efficiency of the cycles. Hence, in this paper, a thermal energy optimization of a Sulfur-Iodine nuclear hydrogen production cycle was performed by means a heuristic method with the aim of minimizing the energy targets of the heat exchanger network at different minimum temperature differences. With this method, four different heat exchanger networks are proposed. A reduction of the energy requirements for cooling ranges between 58.9-59.8% and 52.6-53.3% heating, compared to the reference design with no heat exchanger network. With this reduction, the thermal efficiency of the cycle increased in about 10% in average compared to the reference efficiency. This improves the use of thermal energy of the cycle.

압축 왜곡 감소를 위한 CNN 기반 이미지 화질개선 알고리즘 (CNN based Image Restoration Method for the Reduction of Compression Artifacts)

  • As realistic media are widespread in various image processing areas, image or video compression is one of the key technologies to enable real-time applications with limited network bandwidth. Generally, image or video compression cause the unnecessary compression artifacts, such as blocking artifacts and ringing effects. In this study, we propose a Deep Residual Channel-attention Network, so called DRCAN, which consists of an input layer, a feature extractor and an output layer. Experimental results showed that the proposed DRCAN can reduced the total memory size and the inference time by as low as 47% and 59%, respectively. In addition, DRCAN can achieve a better peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural similarity index measure for compressed images compared to the previous methods.
