  • Since the world wide web, simple and convenient tool, has proposed, the Internet became the most simple network resource which provide many informations of the world. Furthermore, various methodologies are developed to support the dynamic service such as 3D View web service. We will propose the volume rendering view program that interactively visualize the 3D data on the web. The 3D Data is obtained by stacking the 2D images along the z-direction. We also employ the COM based OCX control which is a kind of Active component. This web program will contribute the diagnosis of the diseases through the 3D visualization and image analysis functions at remote places.

A Study on Utilization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Automated Inspection for Building Occupancy Authorization (건축물 사용승인 제도의 현장조사 자동화를 위한 UAV활용방안 연구)

  • The inspection for building occupancy authorization has lacked objectivity due to manual measurement methods. This is why connivance of the illegal buildings has been rampant, which has led to so many incidents. Consequently, this law has lost its intent to protect people's lives and property. In this study, for the purpose of improvement of this law, the research was conducted by the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicle for automated inspection for building occupancy authorization. Theoretical considerations about building occupancy authorization and the trend of UAV technology were accomplished. Secondly, a series of reverse engineering was conducted including digital photography, network RTK-VRS surveying and post-processing data. Thirdly, the resultant spatial information was used for building occupancy inspection authorization in a BIM platform and the effectiveness and applicability of UAV-based inspection was analyzed. As a result, methodology for UAV-based automated building occupancy inspection authorization was derived. And it was found that eleven items would be possible to be automated among thirty total items for building occupancy authorization. Also it was found that UAV-based automated inspection could be valid in inspecting building occupancy authorization due to authentic accuracy, effectiveness and applicability with government policy.

  • It is possible to construct the more improved communication network quality due to practical use of data network using the redundant frequency bandwidth of CATV network. And the multimedia remote educations under the CATV network environment are being tried in the secondary schools. In general, CATV network is able to support not only the remote education using multimedia contents but also real-time responses because the network of CATV has capability to have transmission speed from 256Kbps to l0Mbps. In this paper, we design a new model of the efficient remote education by analysis of the multimedia data transmission capability using CATV network and suggest a method which can be applied specifically.

  • Firewall system is a security system for protect the network and is needed for constructing the trusted network. However, these firewall systems deteriorate the performance of whole network in about 60% because of Inefficiency policy establishment and unnecessary traffic occurrence. Therefore, there is a strong needs to establish the network performance elevation, efficient operation and reassignment of the firewall system. In this dissertation, we will analyze how each functionalities of the firewall system affect to the network performance via using a simulation result according to functionality of the firewall system and propose a exclusive firewall system for the efficient network operation.

  • This paper proposes a network processor especially optimized for content switching. With 2Gbps port capability, it integrates packet processor cluster, content-based classification engine and traffic manager on a single chip. A switch fabric architecture is also designed for scale-up of the network processor's capability over hundreds gigabit bandwidth. Applied in real network systems, the network processor shows wire-speed network address translator (NAT) and content-based switching performance.

  • According as development of networks and increasing on Internet service, For the performance increase of K4 Firewall require that hardware be installed of 2 CPU or 4 CPU instead of 1 CPU. Output of performance test among 1CPU, 2CPU, and 4CPU of K4 Firewall system has not any efficient about increasing multiple CPUs. K4 Firewall put performance on setting on demon of packet filtering rules and Network Address Translate and Authentication and Proxy services. Performance results that setting after security rules are less 2% Packet Filtering, 8%-11% NAT, 18%-20% Proxy and Authentication services than setting before security rules on K4 Firewall System. NAT and Proxy service have decrease of performance. This performance result comes in useful for research and development on K4 Firewall System.

  • In this paper, we have shown a new approach of neural networks for mobile robot motion control under an indoor refracted environment. The vehicle has two powered wheels and four passive casters which support a free motion. And it also uses sonar sensors, infrared sensors, Internal odometer, and contact sensors. Two experiments were conducted to demonstrate our objectives. The first one is that the vehicle executes a reflexive motor control to maintain a constant distance to the boundary. The second one is that as well as the boundary following, the vehicle makes a block obstacle avoidance during its path. Without prior knowledge of external environment. we have accomplished the tasks by employing a simple, reactive stimulus-response neural network scheme associating sensor data with the vehicle's action.

  • 현재 네트웍 보안을 위한 방화벽과 유일한 공용 IP 주소 부족 문제를 해결하기 위한 NAT 사용이 일반화되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 환경 안에 있는 사용자들은 외부 피어의 연결을 받지 못하여 제한된 서비스만을 받고 있기 때문에, 순수 P2P 환경에서 피어들간의 연결을 방해하는 가장 큰 요소가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해P2P 환경에서 방화벽/NAT가 아닌 피어들 중 네트웍 트래픽이 많지 않은 피어를 동적으로 선정하여 프락시 서버를 할당한 후 피어들의 통신 매개체로 사용하는 기법을 제안한다. 이 제안기법은 모든 운영체제에서 사용 가능하고, 양방향 통신을 가능하게끔 해주며, 네트웍 트래픽을 여러 피어들 에게 분산키는 장점을 갖고 있다. 차후 파일 전송, 화상 채팅 등의 여러 가지 서비스를 사용하는데 유용한 기법이 될 것이다.

  • 차세대 인터넷의 기반이 되고 있는 IPv6가 소개된 이후 IPv4 인터넷 세계에서 IPv6 네트워킹이 가능하게 되었다. 현재 IPv6 도입을 위한 시험망이 세계 각국에서 구축되고 있으며, 이러한 IPv6망을 인터넷 망에 연결하기 위한 IPv6로의 전이에 대한 연구가 활발하게 추진되고 있다. 성공적으로 IPv6 로 전환하기 위해 무엇보다 필요한 것이 기존에 동작되고 있는 IPv4 에서 IPv6 로의 자연스러운 이전을 지원해 주는 IPv6 전환 메커니즘이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 IPv6 로의 전이 단계에서의 전환기법들 중 NAT­PT를 기반으로 한 양 방향 프로토콜 전환기법의 연구 및 실제 구축을 통한 NAT­PT의 기능에 대한 연구를 수행하였다.

  • TranSend는 클러스터링 기반의 우선 프록시 서버로 제안된 것이나 시스템적인(Systematic) 방법으로 확장성을 보장하지 못하고 불필요한 모듈간의 통신구조로 인해 복잡하다는 단점을 가진다. 기존 연구에서 시스템적인 방법으로 확장성을 보장하고 모듈간의 통신 구조를 단순화(Simplification)한 CD-A라는 구조를 제안하였으나 이 역시 프록시 서버가 증가하면 클러스터링을 위해 사용된 LVS-NAT(Network Address Translation) 방식으로 인해 LVS(Linux Virtual Server)가 병목이 되는 단정을 가진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 프록시 서버가 증가해도 확장성을 보장하는 LVS-DR(Direct Routing) 방식을 사용한 클러스터링 기반의 우선 인터넷 프록시 서버를 제안한다. 16대의 컴퓨터를 사용하여 실험을 수행하였고 실험 결과 클러스터링을 위해 사용된 LVS-NAT 방식에 비해 LVS-DR 방식이 평균 30.85%, 최고 78.50%의 성능 향상을 보였다.
