In this paper, we analyze the performance of the network management system with intelligent mobile agent system. The proposed system dynamically selects appropriate its destinations. Thus, the system has an advantage of flexible network management in mobile network environments as well as dynamic change of traffic. Comparing its delay and throughput performance with the conventional SNMP based network management system, we find that the proposed mobile agent system performs better efficiency than the conventional one.

In this paper, to realize the network management function in automated manufacturing network Mini-MAP, the network management requirements are analyzed and the network management system is implemented on the basis of this analysis. The implemented management system which has both local management and remote management mechanism is considered as a single domain on the Mini-MAP network. Here, the remote management functions consist of network status, monitoring and remote operations and the local management functions have parameter display and network self testing. The MAP network controller is designed according to the MAP version 3.0 specifications and IEEE 802 standards. the operations of network management system are certified througth the test environments which consists of the implemented network adaptor and softwares for Mini-MAP.

BACnet is an international standard communication protocol especially designed for building automation and control systems. In this paper, a reference model of network management system for BACnet is proposed and its implementation method is introduced. In order to evaluate the feasibility and validity of proposed network management system, it is applied to a real experimental model of BACnet network system. Proposed network management system complies with standard BACnet protocol and its functions are implemented in software without hardware dependencies so that it can be applied not only to newly installed BACnet system but also to already installed BACnet system by software upgrade. The network management system and its implementation method introduced in this paper will help BACnet-based automation system to be managed efficiently and they can be practically applied in real BACnet-based automation systems.

이미 SNMP를 기반으로 하는 망 관리 장치가 구현되어 있는 상황에서 OSI망을 기반으로 하는 시스템들로 구성된 망을 추가적으로 관리하고자 하면 새로운 망 관리 시스템을 개발해야 하는 것이 일반적이다. 그리고 OSI망을 기반으로 하는 통신망으로 구축된 시스템들을 관리하기 위해서는 CMIP을 사용하는 것이 표준으로 제시되어 왔다. 추가된 OSI망 요소들을 수용하기 위해, 새로운 망 관리 시스템을 개발하는 것은 개발비용과 기간을 고려하연 매우 비효율적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 SNMP 기반의 망 관리 장치에서 망 인터페이스만을 변경하여 추가적인 OSI 망을 관리하는 시스템을 구축하는 방안과 구현방법을 제시하고자 한다.

그리드는 지리적으로 흩어져 있는 이종의 자원들을 고속 네트워크로 연결하여 협업하기 위한 기반구조이다. 그리드 응용의 수행되기 위해서는 먼저 네트워크의 안정성과 신뢰성이 보장되어야 함으로 네트워크 자원들은 관리되어야 한다. GMA는 대규모 분산된 자원의 모니터링을 위한 효과적인 구조를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 GMA를 기반으로 실제적이고 전체적인 네트워크 관리를 위한 웹 기반 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템을 설계하였다. 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템은 여러 분산된 관리 시스템을 스스로 유지시키면서 연결할 수 있어야 한다. LDAP 인증을 이용하여 시스템 접근에 대해 관리자 인증을 수행하여 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템의 안정성을 보장한다.

An expert network administrator is not always stationed as disasters happen. In that case, it is desirable that a novice administrator is capable of taking part in network recovery operations as well. In this paper, an agent-based network management system in emergency situations is presented. We use the Active Information Resource based Network Management System (AIR-NMS) to relieve the human administrator from parts of her management tasks and present an interface that remotely can control this management system. The effectiveness of the system is demonstrated by experiments using a prototype system.

In the current Internet system, there are many problems using anonymity of the network communication such as personal information leaks and crimes using the Internet system. This is why TCP/IP protocol used in Internet system does not have the user identification information on the communication data, and it is difficult to supervise the user performing the above acts immediately. As a study for solving the above problem, there is the study of Policy Based Network Management (PBNM). This is the scheme for managing a whole Local Area Network (LAN) through communication control for every user. In this PBNM, two types of schemes exist. As one scheme, we have studied theoretically about the Destination Addressing Control System (DACS) Scheme with affinity with existing internet. By applying this DACS Scheme to Internet system management, we will realize the policy-based Internet system management. In this paper, basic system design for PBNM scheme for multi-domain management utilizing data science and AI is proposed.

네트워크 관리는 다양한 네트워크 장비들을 적절하게 구성하고 운용하는 것이다. 대부분의 네트워크 관리 시스템은 장치구성 관리자, 성능관리자, 장애 관리자 등과 같은 기본부분으로 구성된다. 최근 광역의 개방형 인터넷의 등장으로 네트워크의 규모가 커지고 복잡해짐에 따라 다양한 네트워크 장비 및 호스트들에 대한 관리 역시 복잡해지고 중요하게 되었다. SNMP기반의 네트워크에서 다양한 종류의 네트워크 장비들을 관리하기 위한 네트워크 관리 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 많은 비용과 시간이 소모된다. 따라서 네트워크 환경을 확장하고 다양한 네트워크 장비들을 효율적으로 제어하기 위해서 이 논문에서는 트리거 기반의 네트워크 관리프로그램 자동생성기를 가지는 능동적인 네트워크 관리시스템을 제안한다. 트리거는 이벤트 컨디션 액션의 능동규칙으로 표현되어지며 네트워크 환경에 상태 변화가 생기는 경우 이를 감지하는 역할을 한다. 제안된 능동적인 네트워크 관리 시스템은 네트워크 엘리먼트들을 추가하거나 변경하는 경우 트리거 규칙이 활성화되고 네트워크관리시스템의 구성요소들이 상호작용하여 SNMP라이브러리에서 제공되는 정보들을 이용하여 새로운 네트워크 장비 관리 프로그램을 자동으로 생성한다. 능동적인 네트워크 관리 시스템은 자동생성된 네트워크 관리 프로그램을 이용하여 SNMP 네트워크 구성을 효율적으로 확장하는 것이 용이하다. 또한 ANMS 는 네트워크 관리프로그램의 개발기간 단축과 비용절감의 효과를 가져온다는 것을 실험을 통해서 확인 할 수 있었다.
