  • This paper deals with survival facility location problem(SFLP) that the store with less of demand threshold level is closed result from another new establishment of store in the same kind of comparative firms have a monopoly market. We will be faced with a difficult problem when a new establishment stores in market saturation that the closed stores more than opening stores. Serra et al. proposes recursive heuristic concentration algorithm, and Han et al. suggests maximum insurance of customer location. But the drawback of these algorithms is a recursively computation for many locations. This paper get the solution from only neighborhood search of comparative firm's stores that can be maximum customers and closed comparative firm's store, and the location with minimum customer exchange to the location that can be closed the comparative firm's store with maximum customer. The advantage of this algorithm is to get the solution using a MS-Excel.

  • In the Seoul Metropolitan City, the PM(pariculate matter) application used by the citizens provides the PM concentration of the nearest monitoring stations located on the PM monitoring stations. Currently, the selecting method of the PM monitoring network considered by the Ministry of Environment is based on considering the monitoring station distribution and population density only. In this study, we analyzed the distance between PM monitoring station and the administrative center point in addition to the above considerations. The number of test sites was verified and the range of coverage of each monitoring stations was indicated by using the Voronoi algorithm and hexagon grid. The spatial position problem of the PM monitoring station was suggested by spatial data analysis. The variables of spatial data analysis are single-family houses, apartments, $1^{st}$ class neighborhood, $2^{nd}$ class neighborhood, garbage disposal plant, hazardous material disposal facility, factory, and the density map. The analysis result of the selection criterion considering the additional variables for new PM monitoring stations was presented, in addition to the selection criteria provided by the Ministry of Environment.

  • This study aims to figure out the main agent of management in the 69 recently constructed neighborhood parks in Busan, and to analyze the present status of the main agents. For this purpose, the work resources on park and landscape management, interview to related staff, and the budget on urban parks were found as the main agents of management. In case the parks were managed by consignment or by other separate organization, this study collected resources through the homepage or personal visits. As a result for the management method on parks, about 48 parks(69.6%) were under direct management by the local governments' main office and its business offices. Eighteen parks(26.1%) were commissioned to corporation or private organizations and three parks(4.3%) were operated by both direct and commissioned management. Because of the overall management result on urban parks, the company under outsourced management is not sufficient for a comprehensive management. Such is mainly focused on the maintenance like landscape or cleaning, but have fewer programs for the users. Forty-six parks cared by the local governments are mainly small sized neighborhood parks. For the management, contract workers or short-term workers are hired. It demonstrates an urgent need to improve professional personnel and organizational system for park management. In addition, any educational or cultural facility in the park is managed by separate institutions. Thus, it is not controlled as a park facility but an independent facility with separate controls. Moreover, to solve such problems, it needs legalization on the proper employment for parks, institutional improvement, cooperative network with NGO, planning and development of the program used according to the change of time, and customer oriented program management.

The analysed results of recognition are as following. First, as the dwellers judged that the janitors are incapable to control dispute among the households, it needs to develop the ability to cope with the demand of control dispute by various curriculum. There should be more strict management of parking lot for the handicapped. Second, it needs to establish the plan to improve maintenance of the rest facility. Third, as dwellers thought the management expenses not to be made public clearly, it needs to use various way, not only by neighborhood meeting but also information system such as establishing web page or E-mail notice for better announcement of the settled matters such as management expenses. Forth, the audit result of management expenses and the measures conducted after audit should be reported widely, contract of construction work services needs to be publicized by neighborhood meeting or other information system.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the usage of eco-friendly elements in Korean traditional architecture to evaluate Hanok(Unjoru and Jinwondang) according to Green Building Certification Criteria(G-SEED). The results of this study were as follows; Unjoru and Jinwondang was not enough to obtain certification points. From Site usage and Traffic category, Jinwondang gets more points than Unjoru. It's because Jinwondang is located in downtown Seoul, so it gets more points of traffic and neighborhood facility. From Energy and Environmental Pollution category, Jinwondang gets more points of energy performance than Unjoru, too. It's because Jinwondang secured insulation performance of wall and windows using insulator and glass. From Resources category, Unjoru gets more points than Jinwondang. It shows that modern Hanok was limited using natural resources. From Ecological Environments category, Jinwondang is located urban area, it's difficult to secure the open space, so Unjoru gets more points than Jinwondang. If Modern Honok installs a system that can getting point and secure insulation performance, it will be certificated according to G-SEED.

  • Purpose: Recently, Housing area plan has tried to reflect a public space of various forms. However, most of cases are indiscriminately developments, which don't reflect the diverse needs of residents. In addition, a subject of the public space is not clear and consistently stable of the management, so the residents don't have an interest enough to take advantage of it. Method: In order to make a plan of the public space of a residential complex, an architect designer needs to take a few things into consideration. One is a physical facility in needs. And other one is a management of keeping a social place stably and consistently, which allows residents to be able to interact with each other. It should be regarded for residents to form a sense of belonging, while minimizing the interface friction. When all these problems are fulfilled, an interaction will be made to improve the quality of the living environment. Result: Therefore, in this study, it is necessary to define the meaning of territoriality of the external public space of housing complex. This study makes it possible to improve the relationship of neighborhood and the quality of the life for the residents, depending on the time. This is the first step as 'the research for the territoriality of the external public space of housing complex', in order to define about the concept, function, characteristic of territory(the base of territoriality) and to establish the territoriality that can form the physical or psychological boundary in public space.
