도시 가구의 근린시설 이용형태와 거주지환경 만족도 (Residential Satisfaction through the Usage of Neighborhood Facilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve residents; neighborhood satisfaction through the usages of neighborhood facilities. 4 neighborhood areas were selected for comparison. Usages of neighborhood facilities, contentment range of residental environment, community facilities needed were analized. Factors which influence residential environment satisfaction were clarfied and characterized by 4 neighborhood areas.

공공임대주택의 근린생활시설 활성화 방안 연구 (Study on the Direction to Revitalize Commercial Facilities in the Public Rental Housing Complexes)

  • This study investigates and analyzes (1) the status of neighborhood commercial facilities, (2) the location of neighborhood commercial facilities and (3) the users' viewpoint of them for the purpose of establishing the revitalizing factors of neighborhood commercial facilities within permanent rental housing complexes. This study attempts to determine the factors that revitalize neighborhood commercial facilities through quantitative factor analysis based on the analysis of the basic status and purpose of neighborhood commercial facilities using the basic status of permanent rental housing complexes and the quantitative data on neighborhood commercial facilities within these complexes. A survey investigating the residents' perception of neighborhood commercial facilities was conducted to analyze the qualitative aspects neighborhood commercial facilities within permanent rental housing complexes. The factors affecting the revitalization of neighborhood commercial facilities were analyzed by quantifying the actual problems perceived by the users and the elements of their use patterns. From these analysis results, it was found that the factors are not independent from one another, but organically affect one another. It is expected that more meaningful data will be obtained if future studies conduct correlation analysis and weighted value analysis on each factor based on the findings of the present study.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a basic information for the plan of neighborhood facilities as residential environment. For the purpose of this study, this paper is to investigate all criteria of neighborhood unit on the related laws and regulations, As a result, the legal criteria of neighborhood unit has come to no conclusion of terms(the neighborhood life facilities, the life benifit facilities, the neighborhood facilities, etc.) and ranges(the density of population, the number of floors, etc). Therefore a consistent neighborhood unit can be applied to the development plans of new cities as well as new residential areas for the future.

한국 도시동네의 형태변화 모델 - 동네의 성장과 교육시설과의 관계를 중심으로 - (A Development Model of Korean Urban Neighborhood: - focusing on the Neighborhood Growth and the Educational Facility -)

  • This study aims to propose a hypothetical urban neighborhood, HanGyo-dong, which is a model for understanding the relationship between the neighborhood change and educational facilities. Three issue layers of the model derived from preceding case studies are: establishment, relocation and redevelopment of educational facilities; formation and redevelopment of adjacent residential areas; and growth of neighborhood commercial cores. The neighborhood changes observed through HanGyo-dong include (1) the formation of educational base and commercial activities along the stream, (2) the growth of student and intellectual community and the installment of public transportation nodes, and (3) the relocation of schools and hospitals followed by a series of redevelopments of single family house into multi-family housing of low-rise residence and high rise apartment complex. The findings call for the collaborative practice of educational administration and neighborhood planning regarding how educational facilities, which were the tool for urban expansion policy, will contribute to the development of the neighborhood's identity as a localized hub.

서울지역 노인들의 근린시설 이용실태와 근접정도에 대한 분석 (The analysis of elderly using behavior and propinquity of neighborhood facilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine elderly using behavior and propinquity of neighborhood facilities and to analyze the relationship of propinquity and using behavior of each neighborhood facility. The results of the study indicated that the elderly are using more frequently and living more close to leisure facility such as sports/health facility, hobby/education facility, and entertainment facility. Age and health status of the elderly were the important factors on the use and propinquity of neighborhood facilities. On the other hand, the elderly having higher education and economic status were more likely to use and live close to leisure facilities. For the elderly, the need of physical propinquity to neighborhood facilities and providing information about the facility location were required. For the mid-aged people, the education about leisure culture of the later-hood years were suggested since the use of neighborhood facility is depending on one's habit.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop neighborhood assessment tools from the perspective of women in order to evaluate neighborhood environments and suggest better policies and planning practices for women-friendly neighborhood environments. To do so, we analyze correlations between women's quality of life and the neighborhood environment. Specifically, we gave female participants a mapping survey, interview, and questionnaire to collect data targeting women living in Onyang 2-dong and 5-dong in Asan city. First, we developed a neighborhood assessment tool derived from an extensive literature review and particular case studies. The mapping and interview surveys indicated that specific aspects neighborhood life needed to be improved in a similar area. In particular, women complained about Onyangoncheon station, a commercial area, and detached house area. Second, analysis of the neighborhood environmental factors affecting women's neighborhood satisfaction, crime safety, traffic and walking environment, accessibility of living facilities, green and public spaces and childcare environment were statistically significant. Of these, the inclusion of green and public spaces was the most influential factor. Third, the neighborhood environmental factors affecting women's neighborhood attachment, crime safety, traffic and walking environment, accessibility of living facilities, green and public spaces and childcare environment were statistically significant. Of these, accessibility of living facilities appeared to be the most influential factor. Fourth, the neighborhood environmental factors affecting women's housing mobility decisions, crime safety, traffic and walking environment, accessibility of living facilities, green and public spaces and childcare environment were statistically significant. Of these, childcare environment was the most influential factor.

농촌 여성노인의 근린시설 이용 및 보행환경 인식 연구 - 충남지역을 중심으로 - (Use of Neighborhood Facilities and Perception of Walking Environment in Older Rural Women - Focused on the Chungnam Province -)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the perception of walking environment and use of neighborhood facilities of rural female elderly, who are the most susceptible to ambulatory problems. The study showed that parks, senior centers and hospitals were among the most frequently used neighborhood facilities by rural female elderly, while bus stations and senior centers were recognized as the closest facilities. Frequency of use was higher for paid sports facilities rather than parks. Hospitals and health centers were facilities that were desired to be in close proximity. Social support, self-efficacy, and attitude were the factors that affected walking environment. Street trees, accessibility to parks, and street lights were factors that showed a positive relationship with total time of walking activity while perceived crime rate and slopes were perceived as environmental challenges for groups that walked under 150 minutes per week. One factor that negatively affected walking was the lack of sidewalks on streets. Providing parks and walking trails within neighborhood, pleasant walking environments, and safe sidewalks would contribute to improved perception of neighborhood and walking of older rural women.

근린생활시설 용도분류체계 개선방안 연구 (Improvement for Classification System of Building Use on Neighborhood Living Facility)

  • The purpose of this study is to present improvement for classification system of current neighborhood living facility to correspond rapid social change and various industries after understanding its status and problem. In current Building Standard Law, various kinds of buildings are classified for their structure, purpose of use, and building types. The Neighborhood Living Facility is divided into First Neighborhood Living Facility and Second Neighborhood Living Facility with applying area standards, according to facilities of convenience degree for neighborhood inhabitants. This classification, however, has problem in an arbitrary decision and applying of buildings without any definition or standards to adopt. And, there are some mixed neighborhood public functional facilities and amusement business affecting public morals among the Neighborhood Living Facility, so hazard environmental problems are also existed. According to the improved program, the study presents a prompt adoption of new facilities according to various industry increase, with minimum public discontent over adopted area standards. This study suggests making a clear scope through reclassification of Neighborhood Living Facility within the scope of the law on current Neighborhood Living Facility and an improvement plan of introducing necessary definitions on purpose of facility.

  • Neighborhood park has the multiple functions toward quantitative and qualitative improvement of quality of citizen's life. This study is about neighborhood park in 4 Local Industry Complex of Cheonan City. Through this study has intended to analyze the status of use and the importance level of facilities. To reach this goal, this study has analyzed the general information, use and importance level of users through such statistical methods as frequency analysis, regression analysis and reliability analysis. As a result, users has the speciality in the neighborhood park in industry complex. Break area or facilities for the workers should be installed. Not end once installed, but continually improved and more efficient management of park facilities will be made. Also, importance of facilities analysis has the higher in normal or importance. Management and cleanliness is especially higher in importance. Importance for the overall facility was affecting in order the facility design, management, safety, installation number.

아파트 단지내에서 생활시설과 공간에 대한 주민요구고아 설치계획연구 (Resident's Requirement and Facilities Planning on the Shared Facilities and Space in the Multi-family Housing)

  • In this study, the shared facilities and space in the multi-family housing which residents could maintain contacts with their neighbors were investigated and analyzed. It could find the shared facilities and space so that residents could maintain to contact with their neighbors after surveying the dwellers requirements. Also it could specify the importance of the neighborhood common spaces and the conditions for the planning of the shared facilities. Analyzing residents requirement of set-up location, this study lead to the following suggestions concerning the facilities design: In the first neighborhood-circle, it require to be related the household affairs of housewives on the adjacent space to a dwelling-unit. In the second neighborhood-circle, it require especially the facilities for children play, study, reading, hobby etc. These facilities need establish each 4-5 floor in high-rise building estates. The roof & underground floors has been recognized in important & essential place for living facilities. Therefore, it is needed to improve to get ready to receive the various facilities.
