Eighty children, aged from 2 years 8 months to 5 years 1 month old, were examined to study the relationship between the preschool children's response at dental visit and the influencing factors. The results were as follows: 1, There was no significant relationship between the sexes and the children's response. 2. Children who experienced the painful dental treatment demonstrated significantly more negative dental response. 3. Children who stowed negative dental behavior at last dental visit demonstrated significantly more negative dental response. 4. Children of mothers with high anxiety scores demonstrated significantly more negative dental response. 5, Children who were unpleasant at hospitaization demonstrated significantly more negative dental response. 6. Children who thought they had dental problems demonstrated significantly the most negative dental response. 7. Children who abhorred the medical treatment demonstrated significantly more negative dental response.
Insects mount a robust innate immune response against a wide array of microbial pathogens. The hallmark of the Drosophila humoral immune response is the rapid production of anti-microbial peptides in the fat body and their release into the circulation. Two recognition and signaling cascades regulate expression of these antimicrobial peptide genes. The Toll pathway is activated by fungal and many Gram-positive bacterial infections, whereas the immune deficiency (IMD) pathway responds to Gram-negative bacteria. Recent work has shown that the intensity and duration of the Drosophila immune response is tightly regulated. As in mammals, hyperactivated immune responses are detrimental, and the proper down-modulation of immunity is critical for protective immunity and health. In order to keep the immune response properly modulated, the Toll and IMD pathways are controlled at multiple levels by a series of negative regulators. In this review, we focus on recent advances identifying and characterizing the negative regulators of these pathways.

In this study, we investigate the use of a negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system to improve the performance of a base-isolated structure. The negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system consists of a tuned inerter damper connected in parallel with a negative stiffness element. To find the optimal parameters for the base-isolated structure with negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system, we develop an optimization method based on performance criteria. The objective of the optimization is to minimize the superstructure acceleration response ratio, while ensuring that the base displacement response ratio remains below a specified target value. We evaluate the proposed method by conducting numerical analyses on an eight-story building. The structure is modeled using both a simplified 3-degree-of-freedom system and a more detailed story-by-story shear-beam model. Lastly, a comparative analysis using time history analysis is performed to compare the performance of the base-isolated structure with negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system with that of the base-isolated structure and base-isolated structure with tuned inerter damper systems. The results obtained from the comparative analysis show that the negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system outperforms the tuned inerter damper system in reducing the dynamic seismic response of the base-isolated structure. Overall, this study demonstrates that the negative stiffness tuned inerter damper system can effectively enhance the performance of base-isolated structures, providing improved seismic response reduction compared to other systems.

Triple-negative breast cancers constitute about 15% of all cases, but despite their higher response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the tumors are very aggressive and associated with a poor prognosis as well as a higher risk of early recurrence. This study was retrospectively performed on 101 patients with stage II and III invasive breast cancer who received 6-8 cycles of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy. Out of the total, 23 were in the triple negative breast cancer subgroup. Nuclear Ki-67 expression in both the large cohort group (n=101) and triple negative breast cancer subgroup (n=23) and its relation to the pathological response were evaluated. The purpose of the study was to identify the predictive value of nuclear protein Ki-67 expression among patients with invasive breast cancers, involving the triple negative breast cancer subgroup, treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy in correlation to the rate of pathological complete response. The proliferation marker Ki-67 expression was highest in the triple negative breast cancer subgroup. No appreciable difference in the rate of Ki-67 expression in triple negative breast cancer subgroup using either a cutoff of 14% or 35%. Triple negative breast cancer subgroup showed lower rates of pathological complete response. Achievement of pathological complete response was significantly correlated with smaller tumor size and higher Ki-67 expression. The majority of triple negative breast cancer cases achieved pathological partial response. The study concluded that Ki-67 is a useful tool to predict chemosensitivity in the setting of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for invasive breast cancer but not for the triple negative breast cancer subgroup.
Temperature response of amoebae of thermotactic mutants have been investigated. Amoebae of the mutant strain HO 428 showed positive thermotaxs which is strong at lower temperaturs and drops sharply above the growth temperature of amoebae. The temperature response of HO 428 amoebae was not affected by the length of amoebae on the grdients. HO 596 amoebae seemed to have both positive and negative thermotactic responses shortly after food depletion. Longer exposure of these amoebae on the thermal gradients induced a stronger negative response at lower temperatures and an apparent positive response at higher temperatures. A similar changes could be observed in HO 1445 amoebae. Based on the steady positive thermotactic response by HO 428 amoebae and the mode of change in termperature response at higher temperatures, 24$^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$, by HO 596 amoebae, a model for the temperature response of vegetative Dictyostelium discoideum amoebae, strain HL 50, has been proposed. The main features of the model are: a positive response at the thermal gradients with midpoint temperatures lower than the growth temperatures of amoebae and a negative response above it.

The Purpose of This Study is to Investigate Consumers' Negative WOMs due to the Crisis Response Strategy that Companies Perform in Crisis Situations due to the Failure of New Products. To do This, the Crisis Scenarios and Response Strategies were Manipulated Using a Virtual Laptop Company, and then an Experiment was Performed. The Results of This Experimental Design are as Follows. First, According to The Response Type Strategies, It is Found that Apologizing rather than Denying for the Crisis Response Mitigates the Negative WOMs more. Second, It is Found that the Companies that have Engaged in Cause-Related Marketing Activities before the Crisis Caused by New Product Failure Mitigate Consumers' Negative WOMs more than those which have not. Third, It is Shown that the Message Strategy of the Firm does not Affect Consumers' Negative WOMs. Fourth, the Interaction between the Response Type Strategy and the Cause-Related Marketing Activities are Found to Exist, but the Interaction Between The Response Type Strategy and the Message Strategy does not Appear.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of a company's response strategies (response type, communication style, and response sincerity) on customer's brand attitude and purchase intentions. A fictional Facebook fan page containing 6 separate scenarios was developed based on actual customer reviews and company responses observed on Facebook restaurant fan pages. Participants were recruited from Amazon's Mechanical Turk (MTurk). A total of 202 responses were obtained; 185 responses were analyzed after deleting insufficient responses. The results of MANOVA found that an accommodative response leads customers to have a more favorable attitude towards a brand and have stronger purchasing intentions. In addition, customers who perceive the company's response to a negative review as sincere are more likely to have a positive brand attitude and purchasing intentions, as compared to those who perceive it as either insincere or neutral.
The effects of clonidine on the negative chronotropic response induced by stimulation of vagus nerve were studied in the presence of propranolol in reserpinized and anesthetized rats. When the heart rate was decreased by stimulation of the vagus nerve, clonidine significantly inhibited vagally induced heart rate decrease (negative chronotropic response) in dose dependent manner. This inhibitory effect of clonidine was virtually abolished by phentolamine, ${\alpha}_1-\;and\;{\alpha}_2-adrenoceptor$ antagonist, and partially antagonized by prazosin, ${\alpha}_1-adrenoceptor$ antagonist. On the other hand, when the heart rate was decreased by the infusion of bethanechol, a muscarinic parasympathetic stimulant, clonidine had no effect on the bethanechol-induced heart rate decrease. These results suggest that clonidine inhibits vagally induced negative chronotropic response by activation of presynaptic ${\alpha}-adrenoceptors$ located on the parasympathetic cholinergic nerve terminal in the heart and this effect of clonidine is more related to ${\alpha}_2-adrenoceptors$ than ${\alpha}_1-adrenoceptors$.

We have developed a novel vertical-alignment(VA) -$\pi$ cell mode that provides a wide viewing angle and fast response times for nematic liquid crystal(NLC) with negative dielectric anisotropy on a homeotropic polymide(PI) surfaces. Good voltage-transmittance curves and low driving voltages were achieved with the new VA-$\pi$ cell mode without a negative compensation film. Iso-viewing angle characteristics using the new VA-$\pi$ cell mode without a negative compensation film was also successfully observed. As well a fast response time of 31.7 ms for a new VA-$\pi$ mode was measured. Consequently the iso-viewing angel fast response time and low driving voltage characteristics using a VA-$\pi$ cell can be achieved.

The purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effects of stress associated with university life and the stress response of university students' resilience towards the negative emotions of health department students. As a research method, 284 students in the health department of Gyeongsangnamdo were surveyed. Data were analyzed in terms of frequency, correlation and regression using SPSS 22.0 program. The results of the study were as follows. The mean score of resilience towards negative emotions among students in the health department was 4.49, while stress associated with university life was 2.74. As a result of the correlation analysis among resilience towards negative emotion, stress response and stress associated with university life, the negative emotion was found to have a negative correlation with the stress associated with university life and the stress response. Resilience towards negative emotions was found to reduce the stress associated with university life by mitigating the stress response. Therefore, in this study, resilience appears to affect the stress associated with university life and the students' response to it. Therefore, for students in the health department who are exposed to stress associated with university life, the resilience towards negative emotions may be a way of alleviating the stress response.
