  • In this study, underwater behaviors of negative buoyant body and positive buoyant body, which are ejected from a platform, are compared through eject test and simulation. CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) method is used to calculate the hydrodynamic derivatives of negative buoyant body with varied hull. Hydrodynamic derivatives that cannot be calculated with CFD are used with the same values of base shape. The pitch angles of test data are much bigger than those of simulated data, and the reason is supposed to be the trailing air effect. A more accurate simulation is possible via modified force modeling which reflects this phenomenon. The underwater behaviors of positive buoyant body and negative buoyant body are somewhat different with each other at the same eject condition, but it may not be a problem in the view of operation.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the influences of service experience and brand reputation on intention by word of mouth(WOM) when consumers get experiences at beauty salon. We made 2(valence of service experience: positive/negative) ${\times}$ 2(brand reputation level: high/low) subjects experimental design in order to find reason that there is a significant difference of intention by word of the mouth between positive experience condition and negative experience condition. Also we tried to find the interaction of two factors. To test our hypothesis, an experiment was performed on 68 university students in seoul area. Specifically, we used 2-way ANOVA and planned contrast method through SPSS 12.0 procedure. As a result, a two-way ANOVA demonstrated a significant main effect of service experience, which means that people more intend to make WOM when they experience a negative service than a positive service. Also the ANOVA showed a significant interaction effect between service experience and brand reputation, which represents that people more intend to make WOM for high-reputed(low-reputed) brand than low-reputed(high-reputed) brand when they encounter negative(positive) services.

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of oil prices on economic growth and exchange rate in Saudi Arabia during the period 1980-2020. For this purpose, the linear and nonlinear ARDL models are estimated. The linear ARDL model shows that the oil price and economic growth are cointegrated. Moreover, the two variables have a significant positive association in the long run. However, the oil price has no significant impact on the exchange rate. When estimating the nonlinear ARDL model, it has been shown that oil price is only cointegrated with economic growth but not with the exchange rate. The estimation of nonlinear effects using the nonlinear ARDL model shows that economic growth is affected by both positive and negative oil shocks in the long run. However, the impact of positive shocks is higher than those of negative shocks. Moreover, results show that the short-run effects of positive and negative oil shocks are not statistically significant. Regarding the exchange rate, our results show that the effects of positive and negative oil shocks are not statistically significant. Consequently, this study concludes that the oil price has an asymmetric effect on economic growth in Saudi Arabia, but not on the exchange rate.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of start-up risks on university students's entrepreneurial intention. In particular, the start-up risk considers the recent ongoing Covid_19 Pandemic along with the level of awareness of the start-up risk of business administration university students. For this purpose, a total of 204 questionnaires collected for two months from October to November in 2020 were used to verify this relevance empirically through multiple regression analysis. The empirical analysis results are as follows. First, the level of students' awareness of start-up risks has no statistically significant relevance to their entrepreneurial intention, but the higher the level of negative perception of Covid_19 Pandemic, the lower the entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, additional analysis showed that the students with low self-efficacy majoring in business administration, it was found that negative perceptions of start-up risk had a negative effect on start-up willingness. This study is timely and different from previous studies in that it empirically verified the effect of start-up risk on business administration university students' entrepreneurial intention at a time when negative perceptions of start-up risk increase and COVID_19 Pandemic make it increasingly difficult to start a business administration universit student.

  • Objective : This study aimed to investigate the effect of a 5-minute short mindfulness intervention on emotional regulation and cognitive improvement compared to self-awareness intervention. Methods : A total of 40 participants were randomly assigned and divided into a mindfulness group and a self-aware group. Participants responded to Korean Version of Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (K-PANAS), and Korean version of Toronto Mindfulness Scale (K-TMS) to confirm prior homogeneity. Both groups performed processing according to each group after completing sentences related to themselves for self-focusing. Afterwards, the participants performed the Emotional Attentional Blink (EAB) task as a behavioral measure, and responded to K-PANAS and K-TMS post hoc. Results : The mindfulness group showed lower negative emotions in the K-PANAS than the self-awareness group. The mindfulness group showed higher accuracy than the self-awareness group in negative stimuli presented in the 200 ms condition and neutral stimuli presented in the 800 ms condition. However, there was no difference between groups in K-TMS. Conclusion : The study suggests that mindfulness and self-awareness have different emotion regulation strategies in negative stimuli. Additionally, 5-minute mindfulness intervention was relatively beneficial to improve cognitive function.

  • College students experience more cyber bullying than youth and cyber bullying on college students may be more harmful than youth. But many studies of cyber bullying have been conducted in youth, but little has been studied for college students. Therefore, this study investigated the negative effects of college students' cyber bullying experience on cognitive processing ability and emotional states. The social support of friends has a buffering effect that prevents stress and reduces the influence on external damage in stressful situations. But the impact of parental social support is controversial. Traditionally, the social support of parents has been claimed to mitigate the negative effects of external damage. Recently, however, it has been argued that parental social support, without considering the independence and autonomy needs of college students, does not alleviate the negative effects. Therefore, this study examined how the social support of friends and parents moderate the negative impact of cyber bullying. The results show that the more college students experience cyber bullying, the lower their cognitive processing ability and emotional states. And, the higher the social support of friends, the lower the harmful impacts of cyber bullying on cognitive processing ability and emotional states. But, the higher the social support of parents, the higher the harmful impacts of cyber bullying on cognitive processing ability and emotional states.

  • The objectives of this study were to identify the dimensional structure of female impression formation based on silhouettes and necklines of wedding dresses, and to analyze the effect of silhouettes, necklines, and perceiver's gender on impression formation. The experimental design was 3$\times$6$\times$2 (silhouettes$\times$necklines$\times$gender) factorial design by 3 independent variables. Samples were 432 males and females. Four factors derived to account for the dimensions of impression formation. These were attractiveness, neatness, feminity, and prettiness. Dome silhouette had a positive effect on impression of attractiveness. Bell silhouette increased the impression of femininity and prettiness. Tubular silhouette had a negative effect on the impressions of attractiveness, femininity, and prettiness. Neckline had a significant effect on impression of attractiveness and negative on prettiness. Sweet-heart neckline has a positive effect on impression of attractiveness and negative on prettiness. Off-shoulder neckline increased the impression of prettiness. Round neckline decreased the impression of attractiveness. On the interaction effect according to the neckline and perceiver's gender, the men perceived high-necklines to be more feminine than did women, while the women perceived off-shoulder necklines to be more feminine than did men. There was interaction effect between silhouette and neckline on prettiness. In dome silhouette, heart-shape neckline was perceived to be prettier than the others, while in bell silhouette, off-shoulder neckline was perceived as prettier than the others.
