This study presents signal availability of inter-operable global navigation satellite system (multi-GNSS) combined with future Korean Positioning System (KPS), specifically at geosynchronous orbit (GSO). The orbit of KPS, which is currently under conceptual feasibility study, is first introduced, and the grid points for evaluating space service volume (SSV) at GSO are generated. The signal observabilities are evaluated geometrically between those grid points and KPS/GNSS satellites. Then, analyzed are the visibility averaged over time/space and outage time to not access one or four signals. The reduction of maximum outage time induced by KPS are presented with different maximum off-boresight angles depending on L1/E1/B1 and L5/L3/E5a/B2 frequencies. Our numerical analysis shows that the SSV of multi-GNSS combined with KPS provides up to 7 additional signals and could provide continuous observation time (zero outage time) of more than four GNSS or KPS signals for 3.20-14.83% of SSV grid points at GSO. Especially at GSO above North/South America and Atlantic region, the introduction of KPS reduces the outage duration by up to 63 minutes with L1/E1/B1 frequency.

Robot navigation allows robot mobility. Therefore, mobility is an area of robotics that has been actively investigated since robots were first developed. In recent years, interest in personal service robots for homes and public facilities has increased. As a result, robot navigation within the home environment, which is an indoor environment, is being actively investigated. However, the problem with conventional navigation algorithms is that they require a large computation time for their building mapping and path planning processes. This problem makes it difficult to cope with an environment that changes in real-time. Therefore, we propose a humanoid robot navigation algorithm consisting of an image processing and optimization algorithm. This algorithm realizes navigation with less computation time than conventional navigation algorithms using map building and path planning processes, and can cope with an environment that changes in real-time.

IALA에서 추진하는 e-Navigation 실현전략은 국제적으로 빠른 속도로 진행되고 있다. 국내의 VTS 시스템은 e-Navigation의 진화 상황에서 기술적 국산화 개발과 진화를 동시에 수행 해야 하는 것이다. 이는 국산화 연구개발 이후에 과정이 성공과 실패의 중요한 전환점이 될 것이다. 즉, 국내의 VTS는 사전에 개발되어야 하고, 해외의 e-Navigation으로 진화되는 구조와 매칭 될 수 있도록 추가연구와 상용화가 동시에 고려되어야 한다. e-Navigation의 전체 MSP(Maritime Service Portfolio) 서비스를 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여, VTS 시스템의 역할이 매우 중요하고 해당 VTS 시스템의 진화 없이는 e-Navigation 서비스 또한 불완전하게 진행될 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국산화에 따른 상용화와 연구개발간 개념적 문제점을 이해하고, 해외 시스템과 경쟁되는 상용화 시스템을 개발하고 e-Navigation으로 진화하기 위하여, 연구개발 고도화 및 상용화를 통하여 품질을 제고하는 방안을 고려하고자 한다.

이 연구는 한국형 e-Navigation 시스템에서 화재안전모듈 범용화를 위한 선박구역 식별에 관한 사례연구로, 화재안전모듈에 적용하기 위해 대상선박의 화재감지기가 설치된 위치를 기준으로 선박의 구역을 나눌 수 있는 방법을 검토하였다.

NOTAM은 항공과 관련된 상태 정보를 항공종사자들에게 배포하는 공고문을 말한다. 국제민간항공기구인 ICAO는 SBAS 신호에 근거한 접근 절차를 사용하기 위해서는 SBAS 서비스에 대한 NOTAM 서비스를 제공해야 한다고 권고하고 있다. 이에, ICAO 권고사항을 준수하여 KASS가 APV-I 급 SoL 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 SBAS 신호를 이용하여 착륙하는 모든 항공기에 NOTAM 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 때문에 이를 위한 KASS NOTAM 시스템 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 NOTAM 관련한 규정을 살펴보고 국내에서 일반적인 NOTAM 서비스 제공 현황을 분석하였다. 또한 이를 토대로 KASS NOTAM 서비스 제공 방안을 제시하였다. 그리고 국외 기 구축된 미국 WAAS와 유럽 EGNOS의 NOTAM 시스템 분석을 통하여 향후 개발될 KASS NOTAM 시스템의 구성 방안을 제시하고 구성 방안에 따른 주요 기능 요구 사항을 분석하였다.

끊임없이 진화하는 이동통신 네트워크 기술로 인하여 대부분의 CDMA망은 다양한 대역폭을 가진 네트워크 표준들이 공존하게 되었다. 이는 사용자의 위치나 모바일 디바이스의 네트워크 접속 기능에 따라 서로 다른 대역폭의 이동통신 네트워크를 통하여 모바일 응용 서비스에 접근하게 된다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 이동통신 네트워크의 대역폭의 차이는 곧 서비스 응답 시간의 큰 편차를 야기하게 된다. 이와 같은 문제점을 다루기 위해 본 논문에서는 CANS (Context-Aware framework for mobile Navigation Services)라고 부르는 프레임워크를 제시한다. CANS는 휴대폰 상에서 실행되는 CDRG기반 항법 서비스에 필요한 다양한 컨텐츠를 사용자의 네트워크 프로파일을 고려하여 적응화시키므로써 모바일 항법서비스를 가능케 한 최초의 상황인지형 프레임워크이다. 상용 CDMA망 하에서의 다양한 실험을 통해 CANS가 대역폭에 맞추어 컨텐츠를 적응화 하므로써 네트워크의 종류에 관계없이 일정한 서비스 응답 시간으로 서비스할 수 있음을 보인다.

Recently, port development has been actively in progress through a private investment project. Incheon North Port functions as an auxiliary port for Incheon Port to solve its chronic demurral and freight congestion and to treat materials such as wood, iron material, feed materials. Service charges is one of important factors in the port choice to treat general goods. In general, service charges can be calculated by two methods such as cost accounting method and market price method. This study will review the characteristics of the Incheon North Port (berth 3), which is under the progress of the private investment project and estimate the reasonable service charges for general goods on the basis of market price. This will help a concessionaire to maximize the operation efficiency.

Korea is worldwide top manufacturer of offshore plant industry, while shown weakness in high-valued offshore plant service industry (OPSI). The governmental support policies and studies for fostering programs are centered on shipbuilding and engineering sector. On the other hand, offshore logistics service sector among the programs is neither included as governmental fostering support sectors nor ever-studied. Domestic shipping and logistics companies have many experience of handling various project, heavy-lift cargo and even super blocks on shipbuilding industry. However they are faced with lack of appropriate heavy carrier and others. So for their successful entering into offshore plant logistics market, systematic preparation, studies and supporting policies are highly recommended.

본 연구에서는 컨테이너항만의 경쟁력 확보를 위한 핵심전략인 서비스의 중요성을 제시하고 컨테이너터미널의 서비스품질을 측정하기 위한 도구를 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 첫째, 기존연구 고찰과 실증연구를 통하여 컨테이너터미널이 제공하고 있는 서비스항목들을 추출하였다. 둘째, 추출된 서비스항목들에 대한 전문가집단의 검증과정을 통하여 서비스항목을 정제하였다. 셋째, 최종적인 서비스항목들에 대하여 선사 설문조사를 통한 컨테이너터미널 서비스품질 척도를 개발하였다. 넷째, 고객(선사)들의 만족도와 서비스차원과의 관계를 알아봄으로써, 규명된 서비스품질이 고객만족과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴보았다. 마지막으로, 실증분석을 통해 얻은 결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 제시하였다.
