  • When the negative event is published, the company tends to go through the negative impact on the firm performance. Especially, with the SNS, the negative event is instantly spread on indefinite region so the impact seems bigger than the period before the SNS media appearance. It seems that everyone considers the SNS media impact on the firm performance quite big. However, there has been no empirical study on the impact comparison on the firm performance between pre and post SNS media occurrence periods. This study tries to empirically compare the impact of the negative event on the firm performance between pre and post SNS media appearance. Our study starts fromthe basic but not verified question; Does really the negative event have more negative impact in the post-SNS-occurrence period than in the pre-SNS-occurrence period? In order to examine the impact of the negative publicity on firm performance in two eras, pre and post SNS media appearance, we used CAR (Cumulative Abnormal Resturns) model. By using this model, we could verify the statistical significance of cumulative abnormal returns in market between before and after the events. For event samples, we focused on food manufacturers and collected the negative events from 1991 to 2003 for pre-SNS occurrence period, and from 2010 to 2013 for post-SNS occurrence period. Based on the listed food companies at KOSPI, we researched Naver News Library (newslibrary.naver.com) and Naver News (news.naver.com) for all the individual negative events published for both periods. Firm returns data were collected from TS 2000 (KOCO Info) and market portfolio data were collected from KRX Exchange. Through our empirical analysis, our finding is interesting to note that the type of events differently influences on the firm performance. With the SNS, the health-related events have influence on the firm performance 'after the event day' whereas the company behavior trust events have influence 'before the event day'. Our findings have implications for management. When a negative event directly related to or threatening customers or their life such as health, it is crucial to fix up the situation right after the event occurs. On the other hand, when a negative event is not publicly available information such as company behavior trust, it is important for marketers to strengthen the firms' trust reputation and control the bad WOM before the event.

  • In this paper, we suggest a method of analysis for daily food delivery & consumption trends through big data of the post-Covid-19 era. Through analysis of big data and the database system, four analyzed factors, excluding weather, was proved to have significant correlation with delivery sales for 'Baedarui Minjok' of a catering delivery application. The research found that KBS, MBC and SBS Media showed remarkable results in food delivery & consumption sales soaring up to about 60 percent increase on the day after the Covid-19 related new article was issued. In addition, it proved that mobile media and web surfing were the main factors in increasing sales of food delivery & consumption applications, suggesting that viral marketing and emotional analysis by crawling data from SNS used by Millennials might be an important factor in sales growth. It can contribute the companies in the economic recession era to survive by providing the method for analyzing the big data and increasing their sales.

  • With the advent of the post-2020 climate regime, the hydrogen industry is growing rapidly around the world. In order to build the hydrogen economy, it is important to identify social issues related to hydrogen and prepare countermeasures for them. Accordingly, this study conducted a semantic network analysis on hydrogen news from NAVER. As a result of the analysis, the number of hydrogen news in 2020 increased by 4.5 times compared to 2016, and as of 2018, the hydrogen issue has shifted from an environmental aspect to an economic aspect. In addition, although the initial government-led hydrogen industry is expanding to the mobility field such as privately-led fuel cell electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel, terms showing concerns about the safety such as explosions are constantly being exposed. Thus, it is necessary not only to expand the hydrogen ecosystem through the participation of private companies, but also to promote hydrogen safety.

  • It has been proven through many previous researches that the pretrained language model with a large corpus helps improve performance in various natural language processing tasks. However, there is a limit to building a large-capacity corpus for training in a language environment where resources are scarce. Using the Cross-lingual Post-Training (XPT) method, we analyze the method's efficiency in Korean, which is a low resource language. XPT selectively reuses the English pretrained language model parameters, which is a high resource and uses an adaptation layer to learn the relationship between the two languages. This confirmed that only a small amount of the target language dataset in the relationship extraction shows better performance than the target pretrained language model. In addition, we analyze the characteristics of each model on the Korean language model and the Korean multilingual model disclosed by domestic and foreign researchers and companies.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the flow of change in perception of metaverse before and after COVID-19 through big data analysis. This research method used Textom to collect all data, including metaverse for two years before COVID-19 (2018.1.1~2019.11.30) and after COVID-19 outbreak (2020.1.11~2021.12.31), and the collection channels were selected by Naver and Google. The collected data were text mining, and word frequency, TF-IDF, word cloud, network analysis, and emotional analysis were conducted. As a result of the analysis, first, hotels, weddings, and glades were commonly extracted as social issues related to metaverse before and after COVID-19, and keywords such as robots and launches were derived, so the frequency of keywords related to hotels and weddings was high. Second, the association of the pre-COVID-19 metaverse keywords was platform-oriented, content-oriented, economic-oriented, and online promotion-oriented, and post-COVID-19 clusters were event-oriented, ontact sales-oriented, stock-oriented, and new businesses. Third, positive keywords such as likes, interest, and joy before COVID-19 were high, and positive keywords such as likes, joy, and interest after COVID-19. In conclusion, through this study, it was found that metaverse has firmly established itself as a new platform business model that can be used in various fields such as tourism, travel, festivals, and education using smart technology and metaverse.

  • With the spread of untact culture resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, the size of the car camping market has expanded to minimize contact with others. As a result, SUVs have exceeded sales of sedans, and sales of recreational vehicles (RVs) have increased by 101% compared to the same period last year. Despite the explosive increase in demand for car camping, research on car camping has not matched this increase. Therefore, in this study, we intended to conduct a study focused on car camping users. According to a survey of Naver's famous car camping cafe, it was difficult to find articles, maps, and websites with car camping places. Analysis of car camping websites showed that most only post information about the camping itself, so details of car camping places were not available. Furthermore, according to a survey derived from related prior studies and literature surveys, most users urged solutions to the problem of unauthorized garbage dumping in the car camping locations. In addition, car camping users wanted to receive information on amenities near the car camping places. Therefore, we aimed to establish a car camping website that provides basic information on car camping places and nearby convenience facilities. Moreover, to solve the problem of garbage dumping, we provided a category wherein users can post pictures of clean camping campaigns. We also developed a business model utilizing the certification process of clean camping. The business model is designed with a structure wherein car camping users are rewarded through the clean camping certification process. Compensation for clean camping certification was proposed to be provided through partnerships with domestic automakers, Korea Tourism Organization, and Small Business Market Promotion Agency.
