  • Objective : We designed this study to analyse the anti-cancer effects of materials of green vegetable juice by using the natural standard methodology and apply the results to new studying and evaluating methods. Methods : We investigated the main stream of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), the methodology of natural standard, guideline in CAM, and concrete 15 green vegetable juice in cancer therapy. Results : There are 15 graded materials of green vegetable juice that associated with cancer in natural standard contents. Most of them get grade C, unclear or conflicting scientific evidence. Conclusion : Natural Standard aims to provide high-quality, reliable information about CAM therapies to clinicians, patients, and healthcare institutions. We have to acquire more reliable evidence in future.

  • The natural period calculation equations specified in the current building code are empirical formulas that depend on height and material type of the structure. Building with the upper wall and lower frame type is a unique structure which composed of two different structural system This type of structure needs either the deep transfer girder or the thick transfer plate that brings the sudden change of stiffness and mass. Therefore the natural period equations recommended by the current code can not be applied directly. In this study the natural period of building with typical plan obtained by dynamci analysis is compared with that of various codes. Ad approximate estimation equation for the natural period of building with the upper wall and lower frame type obtained by regression analysis is recommended. by the current code can not be applied directly. In this study the natural period of building with typical plan obtained by dynamic analysis is compared with that of various codes, And approximate estimation equation for the natural period of building with the upper wall and lower frame type obtained by regression analysis is recommended.

  • Two ergosterins and two triterpenoids were isolated from the dried fruit bodies of Ascomyce Bulgaria inquinans. By means of chemical (hydrolysis) and spectroscopic methods (NMR, EIMS), their structures were established as betuinic acid (1), cerevisterol (2), (24R)ergosta-7, $22Ediene-3\beta,\;5\alpha,\;6\beta-triol-3-O-palmitate$ (3) and ursolic acid (4). Compound 3 is a new compound.

  • "Two-component" phosphorelay signal transduction systems constitute a potential target for antibacterial and antifungal agents, since they are found exclusively in prokaryotes and lower eukaryotes (yeast, fungi, slime mold, and plants) but not in mammalian organisms.(omitted)
