  • Ip over ATM and LAN Emulation over ATYM are cimmon methosd for applications to use ATM netework. But these can hardly provide full ATM serviece because of legacy transprot and network protocols they use. This paper presents work of desing and implementation of a Native ATM API that can enable direct use of native ATM scriviccs. In our work, Native ATM API specification which accommodates ATM Forum's "Native ATM Services :Semantic Deseription"has been defined, and based on this, Native ATM API has been implemented of our development are addressed, and implementation envuroment, sofware archiercture, Native ATM API library functions, and applecation programming using our Native ATM API are described.described.

  • It is difficult to support collaborative design with a conventional ship CAD system which manages design information using files. In this research, file storage has been replaced with a database. This paper describes the OpenDIS which is an interface between the geometric kernel and the database. Its main purpose is to implement the CAD system which has the STEP database as the native storage. A prototype CAD system has been implemented using that OpenDIS interface which is implemented by OpenCascade geometric kernel and the Objectstore object-oriented database. The STEP methodology is used as the database schema. This CAD system has been applied to the hull design of a ship in order to verify the usefulness of the interface.

  • This study was conducted to grasp distribution of native plants in flower market and uses of native plants in floral decoration. This study was investigated native plants sold in flower market(2017.01-2017.12) and their monthly sales. Also, this study analyzed the use of native plants, frequency of native plants classified by form and color of native plants used for floral decoration in flower magazines 'Fleur' and 'The Flower'. Among 172 species distributed cut-flower, native plants in Korea flower market are only 24 species(14.0%). Number of filler flower(15 species) is more than other forms. Native plants used in 'Fleur' and 'The Flower' were 14 species(10.2%) and 17 species(9.6%), it is meaning that native plants were less used than foreign plants. The number of filler flower was the highest in both magazines, but form flower(299 works) in 'Fleur' and mass flower(571 works) in 'The Flower' are used most frequently. According to color analysis of native plants used for floral decoration, P(purple), PB(navy) and RP(reddish purple) were 57% of the total. It can be increased native plants uses in flower decoration with developing form and mass flower considering color preference.

  • In common globular proteins, the native form is in its most stable state. However, the native form of inhibitory serpins (serine protease inhibitors) and some viral membrane fusion proteins is in a metastable state. Metastability in these proteins is critical to their biological functions. Our previous studies revealed that unusual interactions, such as side-chain overpacking, buried polar groups, surface hydrophobic pockets, and internal cavities are the structural basis of the native metastability. To understand the mechanism by which these structural defects regulate protein functions, cavity-filling mutations of a 1-antitrypsin, a prototype serpin, were characterized. Increasing conformational stability is correlated with decreasing inhibitory activity. Moreover, the activity loss appears to correlate with the decrease in the rate of the conformational switch during complex formation with a target protease. We also increased the stability of a 1-antitrypsin greatly via combining various stabilizing single amino acid substitutions that were distributed throughout the molecule. The results showed that a substantial increase of stability, over 13 kcal/mol, affected the inhibitory activity with a correlation of 11% activity loss per kcal/mol. The results strongly suggest that the native metastability of proteins is indeed a structural design that regulates protein functions and that the native strain of a 1-antitrypsin distributed throughout the molecule regulates the inhibitory function in a concerted manner.

  • The purpose of this paper is to suggest design principles for videoconferencing using an English Native Speaker. For this, Design-Based Research which is emerging newly was applied. During the research period of 3 months, several English classes were recorded. After finishing each class, Korean teacher and Native teacher wrote reflective diary and a researcher implemented interviews to students who had this class. Based on these data, this class was divided into 3 steps which is consisted of before class, under class, and after class. And then a research analysed patterns of this class, errors, and interactivity etc. The result of this paper, because a Korean teacher and students in the classroom meet a Native speaker in the distance through the videoconferencing system, teachers who design this class should consider many aspects due to the complexity of this.
