중국 자율주행차 테스트베드 관련 표준 분석을 통한 K-City 고도화 방안 수립에 관한 연구 (Study on the Development of K-City Roadmap through the Standard Analysis of the Test-Bed for Automated Vehicles in China)

  • The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MoLIT) and the Korean Automobile Testing and Research Institute (KATRI) are supporting the development of Lv.3 automated vehicle (hereinafter, AV) technology by constructing an automated driving pilot city (as known as K-City) equipped with total 5 evaluation environments (urban, motorway, suburban, community road, and autonomous parking facility) which is a test bed exclusively for AV (2017~2018). An upgrade project is in a progress to materialize harsh environments such as bad weather (rain, fog, etc.) and reproduction of communication jamming (GPS blocking, etc.) with the purpose of supporting the development of Lv.4 connected & automated vehicle (hereinafter, CAV) technology (2019~2022). We intend to proactively establish a national level standard for CAV test-bed and test road requirements, test method, etc. for establishment of a road map for the construction of the test bed which is being promoted step by step and analyze and, when required, benchmark the case of China that has announced and is utilizing it. Through this, we plan to define standardized requirements (evaluation facility, evaluation system, etc.) on the test bed for the development of Lv.4/4+ CAV technology and utilize the same for the design and construction of a test bed, establishment of a road map for the construction of a real car-based test environment related to the support for autonomous driving service substantiation, etc. through provision of an evaluation environment utilizing K-City, and the establishment of a K-City upgrade strategies, etc.

Modeling of Roads for Vehicle Simulator Using GIS Map Data

  • Recently, vehicle simulators are widely used to evaluate driver s responses and driver assistance systems. It needs much effort to construct the virtual driving environment for a vehicle simulator. In this study, it is described how to make effectively the roads and the driving environment for a vehicle simulator. GIS (Geographic Information System) is used to construct the roads and the environment effectively. Because the GIS is the integrated system of geographical data, it contains useful data to make virtual driving environment. First, boundaries and centerlines of roads are extracted from the GIS. From boundaries, the road width is calculated. Using centerlines, mesh models of roads are constructed. The final graphic model of roads is constructed by mapping road images to those mesh models considering the number of lanes and the kind of surface. Data of buildings from the GIS are extracted. Each shape and height of building is determined considering the kind of building to construct the final graphic model of buildings. Then, the graphic model of roadside trees is constructed to decide their locations. Finally, the driving environment for driving simulator is constructed by converting the three graphic models with the graphic format of Direct-X and by joining the three graphic models.

시뮬레이터를 이용한 중형 저상버스의 주행성능 예측 (Driving Performance Prediction for Low-floor Midsize bus Using Simulator)

  • In this study, the performance of a low-floor midsize bus under development is predicted through simulations. To predict the vehicle's acceleration, maximum speed, and uphill driving performance, a forward simulator which calculates the vehicle power is developed. Also we verify the forward simulator by comparing simulations and test result for benchmarking vehicle. To predict the fuel consumption, we use a backward simulator for a specified road cycle. However, to predict the fuel consumption using the backward simulation the engine fuel-consumption map is needed. The engine fuel-consumption map extracting data from a similar sized diesel engine is used by re-scaling the maximum torque. As a result, we simulate the vehicle's forward performance with a new engine. Further, we simulated the backward performance to optimize the fuel efficiency and gearshift timing.

  • 본 논문에서는 첫째, 생물자원정보 데이터베이스는 크게 생물종 정보 구축과 종정보를 대상으로 구축되어지는 컨텐트(content) 정보로 나눠 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 기반으로 데이터베이스화하는 것이다. 둘째, 분류학자들에 의해 정의된 항목과 국제적인 GSD(Global Species Database) 구축의 메타데이터가 되는 항목들을 중심으로 정보가 구축되어야 하며, 효율적인 지역(Local) 정보의 데이터베이스화를 위하여 컴포넌트(Component) 기반의 입력시스템을 구축하여 제공. 셋째, 정보의 서비스 및 공동활용 체제를 구축하기 위하여 DADI(Data Access and Data Interoperability) 기반의 GRM(gobal Road Map)을 구축의 3단계 과정을 통해 생물자원정보에 대한 데이터베이스를 구축하고 원활한 서비스 체제 구축을 위한 연구를 수행하였다.

  • Over the past few decades, drug regulatory agencies in advanced countries have been emphasizing pharmacometrics as a tool for an effective and efficient drug evaluation. Despite this international movement, the value of pharmacometrics is still poorly recognized by the Korean drug evaluation system. This study aimed to analyze the current state of utilization of pharmacometrics by foreign drug regulatory agencies and develop a road map to guide the implementation pharmacometrics into the Korean drug evaluation system. MEDLINE and foreign drug regulatory agency database were extensively searched to obtain scientific research articles, guidance, regulations and pharmacometric review reports on foreign pharmacometric drug evaluation system. A systematic roadmap comprised of 3 stages to implement pharmacometrics in Korean drug evaluation system was formulated after analyzing the collected data in tune with the current evaluation system. Pharmacometrics is an urgently required tool to achieve an efficient drug evaluation and review in Korea. The road map developed by this study is expected to aid in setting up a policy to implement and utilize pharmacometrics in Korea.

울릉도 북동부 지역의 낙석재해 위험도 평가 (Assessement of Rockfall Hazard in the Northeast Region of Ulleung-Do)

  • 울릉도는 강도가 약한 화산암과 강도는 높으나 수직절리가 잘 발달하는 조면암질암으로 구성되어 있으며, 이러한 지질학적 특성으로 인해 낙석이 빈번하게 발생하고 있어 일주도로의 이용에 큰 위험요소로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 낙석 재해위험도가 높은 울릉도 북동부의 약 3 km 구간을 대상으로 3종류의 낙석재해 위험도 평가법을 이용하여 낙석재해 위험도 평가를 수행하고 재해도를 작성하였다. 사용된 평가표는 일본 도로방재 총점검에서 적용된 낙석위험도 조사표, 일본 고속도로조사회의 낙석위험도 평가표, 그리고 미국연방도로국의 RHRS (Rockfall Hazard Rating System)이다. 도로사면의 지형 지질학적 조건을 고려하여 27개 구간을 설정하여 평가한 결과, 20개 사면(약 74%)에서 낙석재해 위험도가 높음과 보통으로 평가되었다. 이러한 조사결과를 바탕으로 낙석재해 위험도를 작성하였다.

  • Outline map is used for the description and reconstruction of the traffic accident. One way to produce the outline map is by adopting detailed measurements from the accident site such as final position of the vehicle and pedestrian, width of the road, and locations of the oil and tire marks. This method consumes large amount of time not to mention that of the production of detailed version as fine as the picture of the site. Aerial recording equipment so called HeliCam can produce an outline map that can substitute that of manual method with even faster production time and higher resolution. However, the produced picture have errors which are resulted by distortion due to the characteristics of camera and direction of the photographing. This paper provides correction of the distortion of oultline map produced by HeliCam using Adobe Photoshop and PC-Rect. The result showed resonable error range less than 6 cm(0.1%) for $60m{\times}30m$ area taken by HeliCam. The presented method develops outline map with small error, which is useful to traffic accident analysis, and traffic accident cases analyzed in this study were also.

Improvement of the Steering Feel of an Electric Power Steering System by Torque Map Modification

  • This paper discusses a dc motor equipped electric power steering (EPS) system and demonstrates its advantages over a typical hydraulic power steering (HPS) system. The tire-road interaction torque at the steering tires is calculated using the 2 d.o.f. bicycle model, in other words by using a single-track model, which was verified with the J-turn test of a real vehicle. Because the detail parameters of a steering system are not easily acquired, a simple system is modeled here. In previous EPS systems, the assisting torque for the measured driving torque is developed as a boost curve similar to that of the HPS system. To improve steering stiffness and return-ability of the steering system, a third-order polynomial as a torque map is introduced and modified within the preferred driving torques researched by Bertollini. Using the torque map modification sufficiently improves the EPS system.

  • 해양은 인류가 앞으로 풀어야 할 숙명적인 문제인 식량문제, 자원문제, 환경문제를 해결할 수 있는 마지막 보루이다 이러한 점을 감안하여 국내 산$\cdot$$\cdot$연 전문가가 참여하여 추진한 「해양과학기술(MT) 개발 계획」이 2004년 7월 28일 대통령을 위원장으로 하는 국가과학기술위원회 심의에 통과됨으로써 우리나라에서도 본격적으로 MT개발을 추진할 기반을 마련하게 되었다. 또한, 2005년 6월부터 「MT개발계획」을 효율적으로 추진하기 위한 후속조치로 해양과학기술 로드맵(MTRM)을 추진중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 MT의 국내외 기술개발동향과 현재 직면한 현안문제 및 MTRM 추진현황을 점검하고, MT R&D 전문기관 설치$\cdot$운영 및 예산확보 등 MT 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.
