This paper proposes an audio event classification method based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs). CNN has great advantages of distinguishing complex shapes of image. Proposed system uses the features of audio sound as an input image of CNN. Mel scale filter bank features are extracted from each frame, then the features are concatenated over 40 consecutive frames and as a result, the concatenated frames are regarded as an input image. The output layer of CNN generates probabilities of audio event (e.g. dogs bark, siren, forest). The event probabilities for all images in an audio segment are accumulated, then the audio event having the highest accumulated probability is determined to be the classification result. This proposed method classified thirty audio events with the accuracy of 81.5% for the UrbanSound8K, BBC Sound FX, DCASE2016, and FREESOUND dataset.
The organic Rankine cycle (ORC) has been used to convert thermal energy to mechanical energy or electricity. The available thermal energy could be waste heat, solar energy, geothermal energy, and so on. However, these kinds of thermal energies cannot be provided continuously. Hence, the ORC can be operated at the off-design point. In this case, the performance of the ORC could be worse because the components of the ORC system designed based on a design point can be mismatched with the output power obtained at the off-design point. In order to improve the performance at the off-design point, a few components were replaced including generator, bearing, load bank, shaft, pump and so on. Experiments were performed on the same facility without including other losses in the experiment. The experimental results were compared with the results obtained with the previous model, and they showed that the system efficiency of the ORC was greatly affected by the losses occurred on the components.
From 2006 to 2010, hospitals in Hanoi treated 10 human patients for dirofilariasis. The worms were collected from parasitic places, and identification of the species was completed by morphology and molecular methods. Ten parasites were recovered either from the conjunctiva (n=9) or subcutaneous tissue (n=1). The parasites were 4.0-12.5 cm in length and 0.5-0.6 mm in width. Morphological observations suggested all parasites as Dirofilaria repens. Three of the 10 parasites (1 from subcutaneous tissue and 2 from eyes) were used for molecular confirmation of the species identification. A portion of the mitochondrial cox1 (461 bp) was amplified and sequenced. Nucleotide and amino acid homologies were 95% and 99-100%, respectively, when compared with D. repens (Italian origin, GenBank AJ271614; DQ358814). This is the first report of eye dirofilariasis and the second report of subcutaneous tissue dirofilariasis due to D. repens in Vietnam.
This paper describes simple control structures for a vector controlled stand-alone induction generator (IG) for use under variable speeds. Different control principles, indirect vector control and deadbeat current control, are developed for a voltage source PWM converter and the three-phase variable speed squirrel-cage IG to regulate DC-link and generator voltages with a newly designed phase locked loop circuit. The required reactive power for the variable speed IG is supplied by means of a PWM converter and a capacitor bank to buildup the voltage of the IG without the need for a battery, to reduce the rating of the PWM converter while using only three sensors and to eliminate the harmonics generated by the PWM converter. These proposed schemes can be used efficiently for variable speed wind energy conversion systems. The measurements of the IG systems at various speeds and loads are given and show that these systems are capable of good AC and DC voltage regulation.

It is a A=0.35 L 1.848 (r = 0.97), the relationship between basin area and river length at Geumho river. 2. Dividing the rainfall of Geumho river basin as two parts, a first half rainfall and a second half rainfall, the amount of a first half rainfall appeared 57.5% comparison with total rainfall. 3. The maximum flood discharge appeared 12 hrs. continuous rainfall rather than 24 hrs. continuous rainfall. 4. Results investigated backwater phenomena from Geumho II bridge to chungchun appeared the rising water level of 69 cm, 55 cm, 44 cm, at section III in the starting point water level of 1.8 m, 2.4 m, 4.0 m respectively. 5. Results investigated backwater phenomena by the flood water level appeared a similar form. There was a average rising water level of 30 cm at section III. At the results of this computation, it was confirmed that section III was affected the highest backwater phenomena among the observed river reaches in Geumho river. In addition, this paper should be given a assistance to decide a economic and safe section in construction of bank of river and estuary barrage.

The condition of financial services in Indonesia is unique, based on various characteristics, behaviors, and preferences. Therefore, the study of finance and banking is interesting to study as a recommendation for government policies. This paper aims to analyze the barriers to accessing formal financial services in Indonesia and why informal financial services are preferred. This paper presents a case study of financial inclusion in selected provinces in Indonesia using the SOFIA dataset from the Ministry of National Development Planning. Overall, this data consists of 20,000 individuals from 4 provinces and 93 regions representing the population in eastern Indonesia. The analysis was carried out by processing individual-level cross-sectional data surveyed in 2017 using the probit binary logistic method. The results identify the individual barriers in accessing formal financial services, including account ownership, saving, and credit activities in the formal financial institutions, and amplify the image by analyzing what determinants affect people to choose informal institutions. We found that some individual characteristics such as age, gender, education, income, employment status, residence, and access to technology significantly affect the barrier to formal financial services in East Indonesia.
The population sizes of three Korean indigenous cattle populations have been drastically reduced over the past decades. In this study, we examined the extent to which reduction in populations influenced genetic diversity, population structure and demographic history using complete mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) control region sequences. The complete mtDNA control region was sequenced in 56 individuals from Korean Black (KB), Jeju Black (JEB) and Korean Brindle (BRI) cattle populations. We included 27 mtDNA sequences of Korean Brown (BRO) from the GenBank database. Haplotype diversity estimate for the total population was high (0.870) while nucleotide diversity was low (0.004). The KB showed considerably low nucleotide (${\pi}$ = 0.001) and haplotype (h = 0.368) diversities. Analysis of molecular variance revealed a low level of genetic differentiation but this was highly significant (p<0.001) among the cattle populations. Of the total genetic diversity, 7.6% was attributable to among cattle populations diversity and the rest (92.4%) to differences within populations. The mismatch distribution analysis and neutrality tests revealed that KB population was in genetic equilibrium or decline. Indeed, unless an appropriate breeding management practice is developed, inbreeding and genetic drift will further impoverish genetic diversity of these cattle populations. Rational breed development and conservation strategy is needed to safeguard these cattle population.

3D bioprinting is a technology to produce complex tissue constructs through printing living cells with hydrogel in a layer-by-layer process. To produce more stable 3D cell-laden structures, various materials have been developed such as alginate, fibrin and gelatin. However, most of these hydrogels are chemically bound using crosslinkers which can cause some problems in cytotoxicity and cell viability. On the other hand, thermosensitive hydrogels are physically cross-linked by non-covalent interaction without crosslinker, facilitating stable cytotoxicity and cell viability. The examples of currently reported thermosensitive hydrogels are poly(ethylene glycol)/poly(propylene glycol)/poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG-PPG-PEG) and poly(ethylene glycol)/poly(lactic acid-co-glycolic acid) (PEG/PLGA). Chitosan, which have been widely used in tissue engineering due to its biocompatibility and osteoconductivity, can be used as thermosensitive hydrogels. However, despite the many advantages, chitosan hydrogel has not yet been used as a bioink. The purpose of this study was to develop a bioink by chitosan hydrogel for 3D bioprinting and to evaluate the suitability and potential ability of the developed chitosan hydrogel as a bioink. To prepare the chitosan hydrogel solution, ${\beta}-glycerolphosphate$ solution was added to the chitosan solution at the final pH ranged from 6.9 to 7.1. Gelation time decreased exponentially with increasing temperature. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image showed that chitosan hydrogel had irregular porous structure. From the water soluble tetrazolium salt (WST) and live and dead assay data, it was proven that there was no significant cytotoxicity and that cells were well dispersed. The chitosan hydrogel was well printed under temperature-controlled condition, and cells were well laden inside gel. The cytotoxicity of laden cells was evaluated by live and dead assay. In conclusion, chitosan bioink can be a candidate for 3D bioprinting.

In this study, a submerged breakwater with effective wave control and eco-friendly characteristics is developed and proposed. Hydraulic experiments are conducted to compare the hydraulic performance of a submerged breakwater and an eco-friendly double-row submerged breakwater. The hydraulic characteristics are analyzed based on wave reflections and the transmission-splitting method for each experimental cross-section. This splitting technique utilizes Goda's two-point method, which employs the spectra of two irregular superposed wave fields. In addition, the reliability of the results obtained from the hydraulic experiments is discussed by comparing the results with empirical formulas. The eco-friendly double-row submerged breakwater features approximately half the width of a typical submerged breakwater. Nevertheless, its transmission coefficient (KT) is approximately 20% more effective, and the difference in the average reflection coefficient (KR) values between the two is approximately 0.17. Moreover, the dissipation coefficient (KD) shows a generally similar trend. Based on these experimental results, the hydraulic performance of the eco-friendly double-row submerged breakwater is more efficient regarding wave control, compared with a typical submerged breakwater. These hydraulic characteristics confirm that the numerical model developed for the eco-friendly double-row submerged breakwater accurately reproduces the KT, KR, and KD values within ±5%.

Since the concept of virtual currency called Bitcoin was announced in 2008, the blockchain technology, which is the basis of Bitcoin, is attracting attention as an important platform technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution that can change our society in the future. Although Existing electronic financial transactions store and manage all transaction history at a reliable central organization such as government and bank, blockchain-based electronic financial transactions are composed of a distributed structure in which all participants participating in the transaction store and manage the transaction history, it is possible to secure transaction transparency while reducing system construction and operation costs. Besides the virtual currency that started with bit coins, the technology of these blockchains has been extended in various fields such as smart contracts and document management. The key technology area of this blockchain is security based on proven cryptographic technology to make it difficult to forge and hack, but there are security risks such as security vulnerabilities in the virtual currency trading service, We will discuss security risks in using virtual currency and discuss countermeasures. Especially security accidents of virtual currency exchanges are occurring frequently recently, the damage of users who trade the virtual currency is also increasing, we propose security threats and security countermeasures against virtual currency exchanges.
