  • A concept of community attachment was applied to investigate the residents' support for tourism development. This study aims to identify the factors influencing conflict management and community attachment on community resident in rural tourism villages. On-site survey with self-administered questionnaires was conducted for 348 residents in the rural tourism communities. Two distinct segments were identified by factor-clustering methods: functional-affective community attachment(80.72%) and anti-community attachment(19.28%). The characteristics of community residents with each type of community attachment were determined using a Bionomial Logistic Regression model. The most important determinants of positive community attachment were the degree of tourism business involvement, sex, and education. Therefore, some government supportive programs are needed to improve community attachment for the people who are under educated and females. In addition, the functional aspects of community attachment should be considered for rural tourism development.

  • Based on the development of SNS in Mobile and Internet, crisis management is regarded as an important issue that determines the rise and fall of businesses. This study aims to contribute to more efficient implementation of crisis management messages by examining the relationship between the strategy of crisis management communication and the level of specificity of the message. The study found that consumers evaluated the crisis-hit company's acceptance communication strategy to show a higher level of integrity, reliability and appropriateness than the defensive strategy. However, this main effect is mediated by the specificity (high specificity vs. low). Specifically, consumers' assessment of crisis management messages and information-seeking behavior were found to be most favorable when used in a mixture of acceptance strategies and high specificity. Conversely, the lowest effect was the combination of defense strategy and high specificity. Based on these results, the theoretical discussions is described for crisis management practitioners of enterprises and organizations.

  • This paper attempts to take an in-depth study of the importance of teams and their creativity according to changes of recent design paradigm in engineering and to draw conclusions of the sub-domains and their element extraction. For this purpose, theoretical consideration was reviewed to present the definition of creativity and its sub-domains and elements. Besides, the two steps of expert validation test were conducted to extract the definition of creativity and its sub-domains and elements. The team creativity is defined as a team ability to come up with fresh and useful ideas and to lead them to get meaningful results through cooperative interactions among team members to solve problems given to them based on each member's creativity. Totally, 4 subs -domains and 16 sub-elements were extracted to get to know their influence on the team creativity. This includes a team size, characteristics of team members, and a team structure in team organization domain. To evaluate team atmosphere, elements such as sensibility, fellowship, teamwork, reliability, autonomy and open minded feature are included. In the team activity domain, strategies for solving problems, activities for divergent thinking, activities for convergence thinking and team interaction are included. This study aimed to analyze policy making process related to the nurse expansion and policy output while focusing on the interactions and activities among various policy actors. Methods: In this study, we used reports related to the need for expansion of nursing personnel journals, dissertations, newspaper articles, for hearings and debate policies for securing nurse data, and interviews. We examined three components of policy network, that is, policy actors, interactions, linkage of interest. Results: For that to expand the nurse before the 2000s in expanding the supply of medical supplies have been conducted without much disagreement among policy actors under the government's initiative. However, there was lacked a close relationship between the expanding supply of nurses and inaccurate analysis of supply and demand. As the policy is applied between the various policy actors' needs and claims, conflict was intensified and many policy options had been developed. Government only took a role as a coordinator among policy actors in the 2000's. Also, it was difficult to find sufficient and clear evidence that policy-making process based on fair judgment. Conclusion: Therefore, it is urgently required to determine the policy through a social consensus to address the appropriate policy means and the process by correct analysis of the policy issues.

  • This study examined the impact of job demand and organizational culture on new task difficulties, burnout, and job satisfaction using a survey data of 145 family specialists in Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support during the COVID-19 pandemic. We used the job demand-resources model and the competing values model to categorize the four dimensions of organizational culture as a conceptual framework for this study. We found that the mean of work overload was higher than the means of job conflict and job ambiguity. Our latent profile analysis proposed four profiles of organizational culture: cultural absence type, authoritative culture type, middle cultural balance type, and high cultural balance type. The results of multiple regression analyses showed that work overload was positively associated with difficulties in new task performance and burnout, job ambiguity was positively related to burnout, and job conflict and ambiguity were negatively related to job satisfaction. These findings imply that the higher the job demands reported by family specialists, the higher the level of burnout and the lower the job satisfaction. In addition, organizational culture was a unique predictor of burnout and lower level of job satisfaction. Family specialists in the groups with a high cultural balance were Family specialists in the groups with a high cultural balance were more likely to have lower levels of burnout than those in the culture absence and in the middle culture balance, and higher job satisfaction than the other groups. The results suggest that management strategies to build a creative workplace culture can prevent burnout and improve job satisfaction.

  • Purpose - Although the government and civic groups do not always confront each other over the Me Too movement, the two stakeholders are often conflicted. For example, the two interested parties may have different positions in the gender conflict and be often hostile due to debates over how to institutionalize and distinguish actual harm from innocence. In this situation, the strategies of the two stakeholders for their own ends are inevitably interdependent. This paper is a study on the strategic reciprocity of interested parties in relation to the Me Too Movement, which has recently raised a new discourses in our society. Design/methodology/approach - We derive equilibrium of the reciprocity between civic groups(collectively referred to as the Me Too Movement Headquarters) leading the Me Too Movement and government that must preemptively respond to new social issues, and analyze how changes in some external conditions affect the reactions of the two stakeholders. For this purpose we rely on economic methodology. Findings - In the reciprocity between the two forces, we derive an equilibrium composed of the pair of the government's optimal response level and the civic group's optimal strategy, and further derive the comparative static results according to changes in external conditions. Analysis results are mixed with intuitive results and non-intuitive ones. However, even if the result is not intuitive, rational reasoning is possible as long as it is derived through a rigorous model, and it has several implications. Research implications or Originality - Although this study is a positive approach, it is meaningful as a starting point to explore practical discussion directions and alternatives by adding another new perspective and approach to research in other social science fields with many normative studies.
