Agriculture is the most primitive civilized Activities of mankind but also the propellant of civilization development. Because it is the most basic material goods source of mankind. Among these materials rice is one of the most important part of these, we call them the substance of survival. From the beginning of the agricultural activities to the present we have experienced three industrial revolutions and are experiencing the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the development of science and technology makes the efficiency of agricultural production is higher and higher, but compared with the original we are facing the same problem: natural disasters; pests and diseases; now also face the depletion of resources, environmental degradation and other issues. Therefore, improve and cultivate new crop varieties to make it better resistance and more production for better develop modern agriculture. It's very helpful for human social development. And also it is the responsibility and task of modern molecular breeding. In this study, I used bacterial leaf blight to find a better resistance gene to improve the resistance of rice. Frist Cultivate k3 of bacterial leaf blight, than inoculation by leaf clipping method (Kauffman,1973) in CNDH and SNDH population at 40days after rice transplanting. Check the lesion length by inoculation plants at 14days after inoculation, and record data for QTL analysis program. Than I get 4 intervals in 3 different chromosomal regions. I found these defense genes in the 4 intervals. So I used NCBI Justbio, Rapdb, etc. to finding these genes in physical map, than design primer for map base cloning. At last these defense genes will be employed in further research for introduction of the gene to the parental plant and rice breeding for solving food crisis.

It is impossible to call in the cost of map-production from the supply cost because the map produced in NGI is the public property. The aims of this research are to calculate a map manufacture cost and to assess the reasonable map prices with considering public property of map. For these aims, We have calculated the cost according to the scale and the form of paper and digital map, have determined the map supply cost, and have analyzed the situation of map supply and the map circulation market. We propose two alternatives. Firstly, supply price of map is reached the goal price after 6-years(raising ratio 30%) and Secondly, supply price of map is reached the goal price after 3-years(raising ratio 50%) because map supply price raising ratio is very much if research results are reflected after 1-year.

In order to accomplish the digital map production I/O devices should be used which are used for data input procedure to convert original paper map(hardcopy) data into computer compatible digital map data, and for the mapsheet output procedure of worked out data. For the input device, digitizer and scanner are most frequently used. Digitizer has possibility of direct production of digital data, and are mainly used for input procedure of partly plotted source map. In contrary, scanner is rather easy to operate the instrument, so that is widely used for the input procedure of original sheet map. In this study, to extract the input device characteristics, some kinds of digitizers and scanners were cheesed and used for the positional error analysis through the operational method and types of instruments. Also for the output device characteristics, some kinds of plotter and materials are used and compared to analyze the positional error through the instrumental types and output sheet materials.

This study is to analyse Korean map inserted in the "Gwandong Gwanseo-jido(關東 關西地圖)" which is reserved in the Gyujanggak Archives as the mother edition of Korean Map("朝鮮圖") in Kangxi Atlas made in Qing dynasty. Map in Gyujanggak is very similar to the Korean map in the Kangxi atlas in terms of shape of southern part of Korean peninsula, boundary of provinces. Especially over 80% of place names on two maps are coincident and over 90% of islands names are identical. It is revealed that map in the Gyujanggak Archive is the most similar map to the Kangxi Atlas in Korea. This map was produced in 1729~1736 which is late compared to the Kangxi Atlas. This difference of production period shows that mother editon of map in Gyujanggak is the base map of Korean Map in Kangxi atlas. The similarity and differences between those maps show the process of edition of geography in the produce the Kangxi atlas. And map in Gyujanggak shows that production of new type of Korean whole map was began in the late $17^{th}$ century.

The OGC(OpenGIS Consortium), which is standardization organization of geographic data, have been studied standard for geographic data such as GML and GML based annotation for image and map. Annotation for map is applicable in various ways, understanding about geographic data, decision making and exchange of communication. For instance, Map annotation can be used for highlighting tour-course as symbols or explaining it as text on a map in tourism. This study suggests some annotation methodology for national digital map and presents a simple implementation of it. Firstly, this study suggests a way of updating OGC annotation schema which corresponds with DXF format and creating a GML application schema using the updated OGC annotation schema. Also it suggest a way of converting instance documents of annotated map to VML document with XSLT and VML for display. Later, it is needed to study for supporting another formats as well as DXF format. In addition, it is needed to study for managing the history of updated map entity with annotation in Local governments UIS(Urban Information System) in practical aspects.

Recently, three-dimensional (3D) GI (Geospatial Information) using LiDAR system has been used various fields such as the production of digital map, the modeling of 3D building and urban area, and analysis of communication network and environmental effect. In this study, the production cost of digital map by aerial LiDAR surveying were compared with the cost by aerial photograph surveying for analysis of economical efficiency. It is expected that the results of this study will be used base data for production, update, revision of digital map and curtail effect of national budget.
Recently, the $2^{nd}$ generation genome map of the Korean cattle (Hanwoo) has been constructed by comparison of the nucleotide sequence of the Korean cattle BAC clones with whole genome sequence of the bovine data-base (B_tau 2.1 build). The objective of this study was to update the $2^{nd}$ generation genome map of the Korean cattle using the similar approach. The nucleotide sequence of the Korean cattle BAC clones utilized in the construction of the $2^{nd}$ generation map was compared with the newly released bovine data-base (B_tau 3.1 build) to generate the $3^{rd}$ generation map. While, 5,105 BAC clones were localized on bovine chromosome in the $2^{nd}$ generation map, a total of 9,595 BAC clones, which spans about 37.27% of the bovine chromosome after eliminating the overlapping sequence among the clones, have been mapped on the bovine chromosome in the $3^{rd}$ generation map. Further analysis of the nucleotide sequence of the BAC clones will allow us to develop map and facilitate to pinpoint the genes that are important for the improvement of the performance in this cattle breed.

By the expanding of infrastructure caused by urbanization, new technologies are required to manage various kinds of facilities. GIS has been appraised as valuable technology for facilities management since the 1990s. Therefore, the long and mid term GIS construction plan has been established by the national government and the local government. Some facilities management systems have been built and developed for suppling user-friendly functions. From this point of view, the information system based on the video sequences is considered a more effective way to improve the defects of conventional GIS using the digital map or the image as the base map. Using the video sequences as a base map, the availability of the system ill be increased because the real world information can be furnished to the users. In this study, through the connection between the GIS data, the digital map and the attribute data, and the video sequences taken from the airship using the video geo-referencing and the object tracking, we developed the facilities management system as a prototype which can effectively manage the road utilities. We also presented potentialities of the suggested system for facility management based on the video sequences.

Ecoclimap-1, a new complete surface parameter global database at a 1-km resolution, was previously presented. It is intended to be used to initialize the soil-vegetation- atmosphere transfer schemes in meteorological and climate models. Surface parameters in the Ecoclimap-1 database are provided in the form of a per-class value by an ecoclimatic base map from a simple merging of land cover and climate maps. The principal objective of this ecoclimatic map is to consider intra-class variability of life cycle that the usual land cover map cannot describe. Although the ecoclimatic map considering land cover and climate is used, the intra-class variability was still too high inside some classes. In this study, a new strategy is defined; the idea is to use the information contained in S10 NDVI SPOT/VEGETATION profiles to split a land cover into more homogeneous sub-classes. This utilizes an intra-class unsupervised sub-clustering methodology instead of simple merging. This study was performed to provide a new ecolimatic map over Northeast Asia in the framework of Ecoclimap-2 global database construction for surface parameters. We used the University of Maryland's 1km Global Land Cover Database (UMD) and a climate map to determine the initial number of clusters for intra-class sub-clustering. An unsupervised classification process using six years of NDVI profiles allows the discrimination of different behavior for each land cover class. We checked the spatial coherence of the classes and, if necessary, carried out an aggregation step of the clusters having a similar NDVI time series profile. From the mapping system, 29 ecosystems resulted for the study area. In terms of climate-related studies, this new ecosystem map may be useful as a base map to construct an Ecoclimap-2 database and to improve the surface climatology quality in the climate model.
In the study of manifold decompositions, a central theme is to understand the source manifold taking advantage of the informations of a base space and a decomposition. The concepts of both Hurewicz fibrations and cell-like maps have played very important roles for investigating the mutual relations of three objects. But it is somewhat restrictive for a decomposition map to be cell-like because its inverse images must have trivial shapes.
