Pyunjak is presumed to be Jinwallin who was active in early Chunchu period among five identically called doctors from early Chunchu period to Warring period. The name, Pyunjak, seems to be used as "special local doctor who goes around the country". This reflects the social atmosphere of the time that medical science and art were getting developed from royal household and government centered medicine to civilian-centered medicine.

To study the clothing names has been one of the research subjects in the history of clothing since the name could be the basic tool to understand the clothing. In the past, the name of clothing were used in Chinese character which is hieroglyphic. Each character of Chinese has special meaning. They had been changed into Korean after Korean characters were invented. During the period when they were changed into Korean, some of them retained the original meaning while others widened the original meaning. Some of them even translated into totally different meaning.

This article is a brief study of some properties of Pupu Springs together with comparative comments on nearby rivers and resurgences. The information presented was collected by several people over the period from January 1970 until November 1971, and all analyses were made within a laboratory. “Waikoropupu” is a Maori name meaning “where water bubbles up through a throat.” However the name is more commonly simply 'Pupu Springs. Location is about 7km from Takaka; the outflow from the Springs flowing into the Takaka River at a point within 2km of the town. Grid reference for the Springs is: N.Z.M.S. I, Takaka, S8 (1968) 170819.(omitted)

We have investigated introduced foreign molluscs into Korea since 1993. A total of 2,338 species of 157 families were investigated. Among them, 2,013 species of 106 families were gastropods, 307 species of 44 families were bivalves, nine species of two families were scaphopods, and nine species of four families in cephalopods. 2,128 species were newly given Korean name.

Dried specimens of the genus Inocybe collected from mountain areas throughout the Korean country from 1982 to 1998 and preserved in NIAST were investigated. Out of them, Inocybe hystrix were confirmed as an unrecorded species in Korea. In 1991 Lee et al., previously recorded Inocybe kasukayamensis only with its scientific name and korean common name. In this study we report it with full descriptions of morphological characteristics and diagnosis of micro-structures of this species.

Gleditsia sinensis Lam. (Leguminosae) is a perennial shrub distributed in Gyeongju in Korea and throughout China. Its thorns called "Jo Gak Ja" (Korean name) or "Zao Jia Ye (Chinese name) have been known to possess an antiinflammatory effect. Korean "Jo Gak Ja". a speciality of Gyeongju. is much longer and thicker than that of Chinese one. (omitted)

대화시스템에서 게임설명요청과 같은 주제대화의 경우, 입력문장의 의도를 정확하게 분류하는 것이 대화시스템 성능과 직결되므로 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 개체명 인식 방법과 머신러닝 방법을 결합한 하이브리드 방법을 제안하여, 머신러닝 방법을 단독으로 사용하는 방법보다 주제대화의 의도 분류 성능을 향상시켰다.

이 논문은 게임, 동화, 만화, 애니메이션, 팬시 등에 필요한 캐릭터 이름을 작명하는 연구의 필요성을 인식하고, 현재까지의 브랜드네이밍으로 치중된 연구에서 벗어나 문화콘텐츠에서 중요한 역할을 하는 캐릭터의 네이밍에 대하여 연구한 것이다. 브랜드네이밍이란 형태로 상품 등을 작명하기 위한 책들은 다수 있지만 캐릭터의 관점에서 캐릭터 네이밍을 연구한 책이나 논문은 거의 없는 것이 사실이다. 브랜드가 타 상품 등과의 구별을 위한 대표성을 가진다면 캐릭터는 생명력이 부여된 개별성이 강하기 때문에 이름을 작명함에 있어서도 적용하는 기준이 비슷하면서도 다르다. 이 논문은 캐릭터네이밍을 위한 이해와 방법에 대한 연구를 주된 목적으로 하며, 캐릭터를 필요로 하는 문화콘텐츠 개발자 및 관계자에게 캐릭터네이밍에 대한 관심과 이해를 통해 캐릭터모양, 성격, 역할, 스토리텔링의 목적에 맞게 작명하는데 작은 도움이 되기를 바라는 데 의의를 두고 있다.

Objectives: This study proposes a new form of English translation in comparison with that shown in English books related to Sasang Constitutional medicine formulae which have been published up to now. Methods: This study formulated a new form of English translation guidelines by making a comparative analysis of the English translation cases listed in "Korean-English Dictionary of Oriental Medicine", "Longevity and Life Preservation in Eastern Medicine", and "Introduction to Sasang Constitutional Medicine". Results: This study as a common rules suggested that names of preparation form should be placed at the very end of the formula name and the first letters of the major words of the formula name should be capitalized. In addition, for the sake of accuracy in English translation of the formula name, this study divided the formula names into 8 types. The 8 sorts of types include: (a) Materia Medica + Preparation Form, (b) Materia Medica + Indication + Preparation Form, (c) Materia Medica Numbers + Preparation Form, (d) Indication + Preparation Form, (e) Concept + Preparation Form, (f) Concept + Materia Medica + Preparation Form, (g) Concept + Indication + Preparation Form, (h) Etcetera. In these types, medicinal herbs should be written in scientific name, and translation of indication can follow Noun+~ing participle form. In case of the terms having a Korean-medicine-based meaning, this study aimed for source-oriented translation. Conclusions: This study provides a general English translation method and examples of the formula names for Sasang constitutional medicine.

소프트웨어의 규모가 커지고 복잡성이 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어의 유지보수가 보다 중요해지고 있으며 유지보수성에 많은 영향을 미치는 요인 중 하나는 소스코드 가독성이다. 가독성의 90% 이상 영향을 끼치는 요인은 소스코드에서 사용되는 식별자들의 이름이며 이를 위한 기존 연구들에서는 클래스의 식별자로 사용된 어휘를 이용하여 식별자의 이름을 검증한다. 하지만 대부분의 관련 연구는 그 특성상 개체의 도메인 관련 특성만을 고려하게 되며 클래스 내의 어휘가 적절하지 못한 경우 적용할 수 있는 범위가 한정적이라는 한계점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 클래스의 특성을 추출하여 의사결정트리 기법을 통해 기계학습을 시킨 후 클래스 역할 모델을 생성하며 이를 이용하여 이름을 검증할 대상 클래스의 역할에 해당하는 접미사를 추천하게 되어 클래스 이름 검증 보고서를 생성한다. 본 연구 기법의 효용성을 검증하기 위해 4개의 오픈소스 프로젝트에 대하여 본 연구 기법을 적용하였고 클래스 역할 정보를 담고 있는 5개의 접미사에 대해 정확도와 재현율, ROC 곡선과 같은 지표를 제시하였다.
