Fructus Aristolochiae has been used in Korea for many centuries as a treatment for various disease.The purpose of the present study is to determine the effect of Fructus Aristolochiae on norepinephrine(NE) induced blood vessel contraction in rabbits. Rabbit(2 kg, male) were killed by $CO_2$ exposure and a segment (8-10mm) of each rabbit was cut into equal segments and mounted in a tissue bath. Contractile force was measured with force displacement transducers under 2-3 g loading tension. The dose of norepinephrine(NE) which evoked 50% of maximal response ($ED_{50}$) was obtained from cumulative dose response curves for NE ($10^{-6}{\sim}10^{-3}M$). Contractions evoked by NE ($ED_{50}$) were inhibited significantly by Fructus Aristolochiae in abdominal aorta and femoral artery. Fructus Aristolochiae inhibited the relaxation pretreated propranolol and L-NNA in femoral artery. But Fructus Aristolochiae did not effect the relaxation pretreated ODQ in femoral artery and abdominal aorta. These results indicate that Fructus Aristolochiae can relax NE induced contraction of rabbit blood vessel selectively, and that this relaxation relates to nitric oxide synthesis and sympathetic action.

Recently, in order to improve the characteristics of operating voltage, brightness, discharge time lag, luminous efficacy of ac PDP, the PDP with high Xe partial pressure has been investigated. However, the serious problems in this case is to increase the operating voltage of ac PDP. In this study, in order to meet this problem the influences of kr gas in Ne-Xe-Kr ternary gas system is investigated for wide range of Xe partial pressure in terms of operating voltage, driving margin, luminance and luminous efficacy.

Recently color AC PDP(plasma display panel) technology is rapidly improved. However, the luminous efficiency improvement is a key issue for making plasma display into a large-area flat display. In this paper, we suggest a new concentration of Xe in He-Ne-Xe gas mixture in order to achieve a high luminous efficiency of color AC PDPs. We calculated the densities of 25 species as a function of the time zero dimensional simulation using CVODE solver and we compared the results of zero dimensional simulation with a measurement of photo wave brightness and luminous efficiency, in order to find the optimum mixing condition of He-Ne-Xe gas in color plasma display panel. We obtained a high discharge speed under Xe mixing ratio of 1% by simulation and confirmed that through measuring photo wave.

This study was conducted to investigate the potential of the neutral extract (NE) prepared by treating P. radiata bark with aqueous NaHCO3 solution as a natural dyestuff. Silk and cotton fabrics were dyed at four different NE concentrations, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, and 2.0% o.w.b. (on the weight of bath). The fabric to liquid ratio of 1 : 50, dyeing temperature of 90℃, and dyeing time of 90 min were used as the fixed condition. The appropriate NE dyeing concentration of silk and cotton fabrics was 1.5% o.w.b. Colors of the dyed silk and cotton fabrics were brown and light brown, respectively. From colorfastness assessment, both dyed silk and cotton showed good washing and rubbing fastness, but poor light fastness. NE dyed fabrics exhibited excellent ammonia deodorization property and antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Therefore, NE of P. radiata bark could have the potential for use as a functional brown dyestuff.

As a new alternative communication scheme in 5G, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is used as a relay in the remote base station (BS) for assistant communication. In order to ameliorate the quality of the backhaul link, a UAV backhaul transmission scheme based on improved Nash equilibrium (NE) strategy is proposed. First, the capacity of air-to-ground (A2G) channel by the link preprocess is maximized. Then, the maximum utility function of each UAV is used as the basis of obtaining NE point according to the backhaul channel and the backhaul congestion. Finally, the improved NE strategy is applied in multiple iterations until maximum utility functions of all the UAVs are reached, and the UAVs which are rejected by air-to-air (A2A) link during the process would participate in the source recovery process to construct a multi-hop backhaul network. Simulation results show that average effective backhaul rate, minimum effective backhaul rate increases by 10%, 28.5% respectively in ideal A2G channel, and 11.8%, 42.3% respectively in fading channel, comparing to pure NE strategy. And the average number of iterations is decreased by 5%.

최근 네트워크를 이용한 분산환경에서의 작업이 늘고 있다. 이러한 네트워크 환경에서의 병렬프로그램은 그 수행 과정이 일반 순차 프로그램보다 복잡해서 프로그램 진행과정을 파악하기가 어렵다. 그래서 병렬프로그램을 쉽게 분석할 수 있도록 성능감시기에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 JaNeC 환경에서 동작하는 병렬프로그램의 진행과정을 이벤트가 발생하는 동안에 실시간으로 볼 수 있도록 온라인 성능감시기에 대해서 설명한다.

In Color AC Plasma Display Panel(PDP). Low luminous efficiency is a major problem. We measured luminous efficiency of PDP as a function of the Ar mixing ratio. Our results show that efficiency has improved by $5{\sim}10%$ at the condition of 0.5% Ar mixing ratio, compared with Ne-Xe(4%) or He-Ne-Xe(4%) (He:Ne = 7:3) gas.

현대 AC-PDP(Plasma Display Panel)의 유지전극 구조는 공면 전극구조를 가지고 있다. 공면 전극구조하에서 Ne-Xe 혼합가스에 대한 이온화율 측정을 시도하였다. 일정한 전극 간격을 가지고 있는 공면 전극 구조에서 암전류와 방전류를 측정함으로써 이온화율을 측정하였다. 본 실험의 결과를 통하여 압력으로 규격화된 전기장에 대하여 압력으로 규격화된 이온화율을 나타낼 수 있으며 단일 가스에 대한 이온화율과 혼합값에 대한 이온화율을 비교할 수 있으며 실제 PDP구조하에서의 이온화율을 적용할 수 있다.

Capsaicin [N-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-trans-8-methyl -6-nonenamide], a pungent principle of red pepper. is known to induce analgesia. Though it has shown remarkable pharmacological activity, the toxicity and side effects inhibited its wider application. The interest has been renewed by the emergence of its agonists, resineferatoxin and ruthenium red. Recently, few successful capsaicinoids including 01vanil (NE-19550), NE-28345, and NE-21610 were reported.

Ionopheric deley is the largest error sources in GNSS positining. The single frequency receiver user needs an ionospheric model like the Klobuchar model or NeQuick model to eliminate the ionospheric error. In this study we estimated VTEC(Vertical Total Electron Content) over DAEJ station using the two models in each season. We compared the results with Global Ionosphere Maps and International Reference Ionosphere model predictions. As a result, the NeQuick model was more accurate than Klobuchar model.
