Our purpose in this paper is to prove a new version of the nonlinear Chernoff theorem and to discuss the equivalence between resolvent consistency and converge nce for nonlinear algorithms acting on different Banach spaces. Such results are useful in the numerical treatment of partial differential equations via difference schemes.

Graph grammars generate graph languages while string grammars generate string languages which are the subset of graph languages. One of the most successful graph grammars models is the NLC grammars, which gen-erate graphs by replacing a node by a node by a graph through node labels. For grammars generating hypergraphs which are the superset of graphs, there are CFHG grammars, which replace a hyperedge by a hypergraph through their preidentified gluing points, an extension of CFHG grammars called HH grammars, which replace a handle by a hypergraph through the rewriting mechanism that can also duplicate or delete the hyperedges surrounding the replaced handle, and finally HRNCE grammars, which replace a handle by a hypergraph through an eNCE way of rewriting, In this paper, we compare the language-generating power of HRNCE grammars with that a graph grammars mentioned above by comparing graph langrages generated by them, respecti vely.

This study was conducted to establish a nce insect pest control system, ~ es.ys tematic application of insecticides using carbohran and buproiezin, in Korea. The effects oi various dates of application and rates of buprofezin (25% WP) after carbofuran (3G) soil incorpombon in late May on the pop~~lation densities of the brown planthoppa (BPH) immigrating in July were investigated Appropriate application tune of buprofezin for the BPH that had evaded insecticidal effect of 5011 incorporated carbofuran was late July-early August. Application rate of buprofezln at 7.0g a.i/lOa was enough to suppress the BPH density. Buprofezin treatment after carbofumn soil incorporation could also suppress the whlte backed planthopper population but did not affect the densities oi the paddy rice spiders. Considering the charactenstics of occurring patterns of the nce insect pests in Korea. buprofezin treatment m late July or early August after carbofuran soil incorporation in late May can be a useful application system of ir~sectic~deins controlling early season Insect pests and migmtoly planthoppers on rice.

The brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparuata lugens, is the major pest 01 nce in Asla. Cument control tactics rely pnmalily on chemical ~nsecticides and resistant nce varieties In Korea, the most important biolog~cal conb-ol agent appears to be the naturally-occuning, mermlthid nematode, Agarnermrs unka. Although parasitism of BPH is highly variable from place to place and from year to year. the rnermithid is a promising biological control agent because it reduces the fecundity of the host and ultimately causes its death. The memithid has only one generation per year compared to the three to four generations of BPH, but the mermithid lemales stagger their egg production so that many individuals in all BPH generations are parastized. Augmentation of this rnermithld into BPH populations is only psslble on a limited scale because it is an obligate parasite and mass production technology has yet to be developed. Conservation of naturally-occumng populations through cultural techniques and the use of compatible resistant rice varieties and chemical insecticides may lead to an effective integrated pest management program for BPH.

When dehulled apple seeds (Malus pilmila var. domestica) were induced to germinate, the rate of germination, which was increased by piercing both the radicle and cotyledon, was related to the site of injury. Also, the germination rates of an embryo with ¾ cotyledon (¾ CE), embryo with ½ cotyledon (½ CE), embryo with ¼ cotyledon (¼ CE), and embryo without cotyledon (NCE) gradually decreased compared to an embryo with a normal cotyledon, but it significantly recovered on the agar media containing MS solution and/or 80 mg/L gibberellin (GA₃) as nutrition. The results show that the germination of the embryo was inhibited by the partial removal of cotyledon and also demonstrated that the rate of germination could be significantly increased by adding GA₃ (80 mg/L) and/or MS medium.

The application of construction integrated management system is expected to save the time of decision-making in business management and shorten the closing account schedule. Construction Integrated Management System based on ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system allows to control core business procedure by monitoring technique on real-time. In this paper, we achieves 10％ raise up business productivity in site business area, and 30％ raise up business productivity in head of nce business area by means of DW-CIMS (Daewoo Construction Integrated Management System)

This paper deals with electormagnetic analysis of reluctance type machines with permanent magnet/electromagn et. First, we calculated flux density of relucta nce type machines with permanent magnet/electromagnet according to position. Second, analyzed normal force and horizontal force from flux density of machine according to position. Also, analysis result compares with data that is derived through a finite element analysis (FEA), and proved validity.
