We proposed the new nano-carbon ball (NCB) materials for eliminating the total volatile organic compounds(TVOCs) from the felt which is built in the car. The concentrations of acetaldehyde and formaldehyde of the original felts were varied upon the different production lots. Acetaldehyde in the felt can be eliminated to target level($0.2{\mu}g$) after introducing 0.5 wt% of NCB into the felt. Detector tube method for analyzing formaldehyde gas was more accurate than HPLC method. Formaldehyde can be eliminated to target level (64 ppb) after introducing 0.5 wt% of NCB into the felt. We also found that TVOC can be reduced to target level ($0.32{\mu}g$) after introducing 2.0 wt% of NCB. Upon introducing small amounts of NCB into the felt, it was possible that the level of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and TVOC formed from the felts can be reduced to the target level. We also suggest the effective analyzing method of TVOCs.
Naphtha Cracking Bottom (NCB) oil was heat reformed at various reforming temperature and time, and the volatile extracts were characterized including yields, molecular weight distributions, and representative compounds. The yield of extract increased as the increase of reforming temperature ($360{\sim}420^{\circ}C)$ and time (1~4 hr). Molecular weight of the as-received NCB oil was under 200, and those of extracts were distributed in the range of 100-250, and far smaller than those of precursor pitches of 380-550. Naphtalene-based compounds were more than 70% in the as-received NCB oil, and most of them were isomers of compounds bonding functional groups, such as methyl ($CH_{3^-}$) and ethyl ($C_2H_{5^-}$). When the as-received NCB oil was reformed at $360^{\circ}C$ for 1 hr, the most prominent compound was 1,2-Butadien, 3-phenyl- (24.57%), while naphthalene became main component again as increasing the reforming temperature.
The effects of ethanol on 5-hydrosytryptamine(5-HT3) receptor-mediated ion current were evaluated in whole-cell patch-clamp recordings from NCB-20 neuroblastoma cells. The physiologic and pharmacologic properties of 5-HT-activated ion current in NCB-20 cells indicated that it was mediated by 5-HT3 receptors. Ethanol(25-100mM) potentiated 5-HT3 receptor-mediated current in a concentration-dependent manner.

Background: We wished to analyse patterns of use of needle biopsy procedures by BreastScreen Australia (BSA) accredited programs to identify areas for improvement. Design: BSA services provided anonymous data regarding percutaneous needle biopsy of screen detected lesions assessed between 2005-2009. Results: 12 services, from 5 of 7 Australian states and territories provided data for 18212 lesions biopsied. Preoperative diagnosis rates were 96.84% for lesion other than microcalcification (LOTM) and 93.21% for microcalcifications. At surgery 97.9% impalpable lesions were removed at the first procedure. Of 11548 Microcalcification (LOTM) biopsied, 46.9% were malignant. The final diagnosis was reached by conventional core biopsy (CCB) in 72.46%, FNAB in 21.33%, VACB in 1.69% and open biopsy in 4.52% of lesions. FNA is being limited to LOTM with benign imaging After FNAB, core biopsy was required for 38% of LOTM. In LOTM the mean false positive rate (FPR) was 0.36% for FNAB, 0.06% for NCB and 0% for VACB. Diagnostic accuracy was 72.75% for FNAB and 92.1% for core biopsies combined. Of 6441 microcalcifications biopsied 2305 (35.8%) were malignant. Microcalcifications are being assessed primarily by NCB but 6.57% underwent FNAB, 45.6% of which required NCB. False positive diagnoses were rare. FNR was 5% for NCB and 1.53% for VACB. Diagnostic accuracy was 73.52% for FNAB, 86.29% for NCB and 88.63% for VACB. Only 8 of 12 services had access to VACB facilities. Conclusions: BSA services are selecting lesions effectively for biopsy and are achieving high preoperative diagnosis rates. Gaps in the present accreditation standards require further consideration.
The network structure of Ni-coated carbon black (NCB) composites filled with phenolic resin was investigated by means of using scanning electron microscopy, viscosity, interfacial tension, shrinkability, Flory-Huggins interaction parameters, and swelling index. The electrical properties of the composites have been characterized by measurement of the specific conductivity as a function of temperature. Additionally, the variation of conductivity with temperature for the composites has been reported and analyzed in terms of the dilution volume fraction, relative volume expansion, and barrier heights energy. The thermal stability of phenolic-NCB composites has been also studied by means of the voltage cycle processes. The experimental data of EMI wave shielding were analyzed and compared with theoretical calculations. The mechanical properties such as tensile strength, tensile modulus, hardness and elongation at break (EB) of NCB-phenolic resin composites were also investigated.
본 논문에서는 RTP 패킷의 Dynamic필드인 TS필드를 BCB(Basic Compression Bits) 기본 비트로 압축하거나 또는 NCB(Negotiation Compression Bits, BCB + 추가적인 비트) 비트로 압축하는 기존 방법보다 향상된 방법(Enhanced Method)을 제안하였다.
