  • 웹의 보편화로 인하여 수많은 데이터가 산출되고 있으나 데이터 관리를 위한 메타데이터 표준은 특정 도메인에 제한적이고 너무 광범위하게 정의되어 있어 데이터가 비효율적으로 관리되고 있는 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 RDF를 활용하여 자원간의 관계를 정의하고 있으나, RDF의 특성에 적합한 편집도구가 전무한 상태이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 RDF 저작도구를 설계 및 구현함으로써 RDF를 기반으로 메타데이터의 유효성 검증을 수행하고, 기술된 자원간의 관계를 가시적으로 분석할 수 있는 노드 앤 아크 다이어그램을 지원하며, 웹자원을 N-triple로 표현하여 데이터의 효율적인 관리 및 분석을 가능하게 하였다.

A Single-Chip CMOS Digitally Synthesized 0-35 MHz Agile Function Generator

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a single-chip digitally synthesized 0-35MHz agile function generator. The chip comprises an integrated direct digital synthesizer (DDS) with a 10-bit on- chip digital-to-analog converter (DAC) using an n-well single-poly triple-metal 0.5-$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS technology. The main features of the chip include maximum clock frequency of 100 MHz at 3.3-V supply voltage, 32-bit frequency tuning word resolution, 12-bit phase tuning word resolution, and an on-chip 10-bit DAC. The chip provides sinusoidal, ramp, saw-tooth, and random waveforms with phase and frequency modulation, and power-down function. At 100-MHz clock frequency, the chip covers a bandwidth from dc to 35 MHz in 0.0233-Hz frequency steps with 190-ns frequency switching speed. The complete chip occupies 12-mm$^2$die area and dissipates 0.4 W at 100-MHz clock frequency.

  • The effect of mcirostructure on the electrical properties of yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) was analyzed by modeling layer arrangements and mixed phase structure. The YSZ thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering using 30mol% YSZ and 8 mol% YSZ targets with yttrium pellets on porous alumina substrates. The structure, composition and electricla properties of the YSZ films were investigated as functions of sputtering conditons and layer arrangements by XRD, TEM, XPS and acimpedance spectroscopy. The results showed that the triple palyered YSZ films had highermicrohardness, lower compressive stress state and higher ionic conductivity by one order than single and double layered YSZ films. However, sputtered YSZ films have low conductivity compared to YSZ pellets or doctor bladed YSZ thin plates. These results were probably due to the influence of insulating alumina substrates, impractical for most stacking geometries and inductance induced by relatively long platinum, lead wire on YSZ conductivity.

  • Angiogenin is unique among angiogenic molecules in that it is a member of the pancreatic ribonuclease superfamily and, in fact, is a ribonucleolytic enzyme. Its enzymatic activity is extremely weak compared to that of the digestive RNases but is critical for its capacity to induce neovascularization. In this study, we completed the backbone resonance assignment of bovine angiogenin using triple resonance NMR experiments of $^{15}N\;and/or\;^{13}C$ isotope labeled protein and investigated the chemical shift variation upon binding with inhibitor phosphate ion and determine the phosphate binding site.

  • The mannitol transporter Enzyme $II^{Mtl}$ of the bacterial phosphotransferase system has two cytoplasmic phosphoryl transfer domains $IIA^{Mtl}$ and $IIB^{Mtl}$. The two domains are linked by a flexible peptide linker in mesophilic bacterial strains, whereas they are expressed as separated domains in thermophilic strains. Here, we carried out backbone assignment of $IIA^{Mtl}$ from thermophilic Thermoanaerobacter Tencongensis using a suite of heteronuclear triple resonance NMR spectroscopy. We have completed 94% of the backbone assignment, and obtained secondary structural information based on torsion angles derived from the chemical shifts. $IIA^{Mtl}$ of Thermoanaerobacter Tencongensis is predicted to have six ${\beta}$ strands and six ${\alpha}$ helices, which is analogous to $IIA^{Mtl}$ of Escherichia coli.

  • 개체 관계(ER) 모델과 확장 개체 관계(EER) 모델은 개념적 데이터베이스 설계분야에서 가장 많이 사용되는 모델이다. 확장 개체 관계 모델은 여전히 객체지향 데이터베이스를 처리하는데 강력하나 최신 객체관계 데이터베이스와 UML과 같은 새로운 데이터베이스 모델링을 처리하기에는 부족함이 많다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 객체 관계 데이터베이스를 지원하기 위한 확장 개체 관계 기반의 변환 방법을 제안한다. 변환 규칙은 트리플 그래프 문법을 사용하여 정의하고 MOFRON TGG 에디터를 이용하여 표현한다. 트리플 그래프 문법 규칙에 따라 본 제안 방법은 자동 ORDB 개발 프레임워크에 적용할 수 있다.

A portal quadrad with triple hepatic arteries

  • The arterial support of the liver is most commonly from the celiac trunk via the proper hepatic artery (PHA). The PHA divides into left and right branches: the right hepatic artery (RHA) supplies the right and caudate lobes while the left hepatic artery (LHA) supplies the left and quadrate lobes. Aberrant hepatic arteries are relatively common, and the most frequent contributors are the superior mesenteric artery and left gastric artery. Herein we present findings from postmortem dissection of an abdominal cavity that revealed a rare combination of reported variations. Specifically, this subject had three extrahepatic arteries - a replaced LHA (rLHA), a PHA, and a replaced RHA (rRHA). The rLHA originated from the left gastric and the rRHA originated from the superior mesenteric artery. Knowledge of these variations is important for surgical and radiological procedures to avoid complications during treatment and improve patient outcomes.

Molecular Types and Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Patients with Breast Cancer- While Molecular Shifting is More Common in Luminal a Tumors, The Pathologic Complete Response is Most Frequently Observed in Her-2 Like Tumors

  • Background: Pathologic complete response (pCR) is one of the most important target end-points of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in patients with breast cancer (BC). In present study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between molecular subtypes and NACT in patients with BC. Materials and Methods: Using the Akdeniz University database, 106 patients who received NACT for operable breast cancer were retrospectively identified. Prognostic factors before and after NACT were assessed. According to the molecular subtypes, molecular shifting after NACT and tumoral and nodal response to NACT were analyzed. Results: The distribution of subtypes was: Luminal A, 28.3% (n=30); Luminal B, 31.1% (n=33); HER2-like, 24.5% (n=26); and basal like/triple negative (BL/TN), 16.0% (n=17). According to molecular subtypes, pCR rates in both breast and axillary were 0%, 21.4%, 36.4% and 27.3% for luminal A, luminal B, HER2-like and BL/TN, respectively (p=0.018). Molecular subtype shifting was mostly seen in luminal A type (28.6%) after the NACT. The pCR rate in breast and axillary was significantly higher in patients with HER2-like type BC. Conclusions: In patients with HER-2 like type BC, NACT may be offered in early stages. Additionally, due to molecular shifting, adjuvant treatment schedule should be reviewed again, especially in the luminal A group.

  • Manddelberg [9] has shown that a Clifford algebra of a free quadratic space over an arbitrary semi-local ring R in Brawer-Wall group BW(R) is determined by its rank, determinant, and Hasse invariant. In this paper, we prove a corresponding result when R is a full ring.Throughout this paper, unless otherwise specified, we assume that R is a commutative ring having 2 a unit. Low-Temperature Sintering Behavior of Aluminum Nitride Ceramics with Added Copper Oxide or Copper

  • The low-temperature sintering behavior of AlN was investigated through a conventional method. $CaF_2$, CuO and Cu were selected as additives based on their low melting points. When sintered at $1600^{\circ}C$ for 8 h in $N_2$ atmosphere, a sample density > 98% was obtained. The X-ray data indicated that eutectic reactions below $1200^{\circ}C$ were found. Therefore, the current systems have lower liquid formation temperatures than other systems. The liquid phase showed high dihedral angles at triple grain junctions, indicating that the liquid had poor wettability on the grain surfaces. Eventually, the liquid was likely to vaporize due to the unfavorable wetting condition. As a result, a microstructure with clean grain boundaries was obtained, resulting in higher contiguity between grains. From EDS analysis, oxygen impurity seems to be well removed in AlN lattice. Therefore, it is believed that the current systems are beneficial for reducing sintering temperature and improving oxygen removal.
