Distance Learning In Ukraine: Problems And Connection With Modern Computer Technologies

  • The article presents the idea that in the conditions of modernization of higher professional education, there is an obvious contradiction between the practical need of higher education for a scientifically grounded theory and methodology of distance learning for students and the lack of the necessary didactic and content-methodological guidelines for its implementation. In theoretical research and applied development, as a rule, the technocratic approach prevails. The emphasis is on the technical capabilities of modern computers and telecommunications. Productively, from a pedagogical point of view, this contradiction can be resolved on the basis of modeling distance learning management for students, developing and implementing a corporate information educational environment in universities, increasing the effectiveness of the methodology of pedagogical interaction between students and teachers during the implementation of distance learning.

  • Mathematical creativity, an important goal in mathematics education, can be promoted through an integrated learning environment where students explore mathematics with other subject areas such as science, technology, engineering and art. Establishing such learning environments is not a trivial task. Therefore, this creates a need for the development of instructional resources promoting meaningful integration. This paper focuses on integration of the fields of mathematics and music. Beginning with some of the historical discoveries and views of the connections between mathematics and music, this paper attends to several musical concepts correlating to middle school mathematical content and then provides ideas for teaching.

일시적 시력장애를 경험하는 안과환자의 불안에 대한 음악요법의 효과 (The Effect of Music Therapy on the State Anxiety in Ophthalmic In-patients Experiencing Momentary Visual Disturbance)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of music therapy on the state anxiety and the vital signs in ophthalmic inpatients experiencing momentary visual disturbance. The patients listened to the music for or over 30 minutes a time for 3 days The subjects for this study were twenty-eights experiencing momentary visual disturbance in ophthalmic department of a hospital in Kwangju. They were assigned to two groups, fourteen to a experimental group and fourteen to a control group. The data were collected from November 22 to December 4, 1999 by means of state anxiety scale questionnaire and measurement of vital signs. The data were analyzed with SPSS programs. The results were as follows; 1. There were significant differences between the two groups on anxiety score after music therapy(t=-2.95 p=.007). 2. The first hypothesis that the experimental group who received music therapy would have less anxiety score than the control group who did not receive music therapy was supported (t=8.98, p=.000). 3. There were no significant differences between the two groups on change of vital signs after music therapy. 4. The second hypothesis that the experimental group who received music therapy would have more relived vital signs than the control group who did not receive music therapy was not supported. In conclusion, music therapy can be effective nursing intervention in decreasing anxiety of ophthalmic in-patients experiencing momentary visual disturbance.

자폐장애 아동을 대상으로 한 음악치료 중재 효과 연구 (The Effects of a Music Therapy Program for Autistic Children in Child Day Care Centers)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed at evaluating the effects of Music Therapy for the autistic children. Method: The subjects of this study consisted of 3 autistic children who were trained in an Attachment Promotion Therapy Program for 6 months. The Children were all males and 4years 9months, 3years 1 month, and 3years 8month each, and diagnosed with Autism by Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists. Data was collected by using video-taping methods(ADOS, Fagot's Interactive Behavior Code), an interview and observational methods(SMS). Music Therapy intervention was done once a week for 6 months. Data was gathered by quantitative and qualitative analysis. Result: This study showed that the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale and Social Maturity Quotient(SQ) much improved after the Music Therapy After the Music Therapy, the Interactive Behavior Code : Gaze, Gesture for the communication, Verbal language, Laughing/Smile, and Normal play behaviors increased more than before the intervention. As the results show, the child's behavior became more positively responsive, playful, and attentive to others. Conclusion: This study suggests that Music Therapy might be an effective intervention for autistic disorder children in order to decrease autistic symptoms and increase joint attention behavior.

IPA를 활용한 음악치료사의 내담자 개인정보보호의 인식도와 실천도 분석 (Personal Information Recognition and Practice of Music Therapists through IPA Tool)

  • Objectives: In this paper, we propose the ethical education direction by analyzing the personal information recognition and practice of music therapists. Methods: For the analyses, we selected 60 music therapists who answered a questionnaire from members of K Music Therapy Association, and analyzed task recognition and practice ask performance using IPA method. Results: In the IPA table, the areas of high recognition and practice (1) are the areas of personal information protection information management. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and high practice (2) are areas of privacy communication for those who have completed ethics education. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and low practice (3) are areas of privacy communication when ethics education is not completed. In the IPA table, areas of high awareness and low levels of practice (4) are areas of privacy protection. Conclusions: Continuing education should be provided to improve the curriculum on the protection of personal information for music therapists, thereby raising the awareness and practice of privacy.

  • 음악 학습효과 및 감상능력을 높일 수 있는 효과적인 음악교육용 리듬게임 제작 방안을 제시하기 위해 음악게임을 제작한 후 초등학생 107명을 대상으로 실험 및 설문조사를 실시하였다. 음고(pitch), 음가(duration), 음량(loudness) 지각을 바탕으로 한 반복적인 멜로디 패턴의 노트설계를 통해 음악에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었으며, 시각, 청각, 촉각의 공감각적 이해를 통해 음악 감상교육의 효과 및 학생들의 몰입도를 높일 수 있었다.

온라인 원격 학위 과정에 대한 고찰 : 미국의 음악교육 석사학위 과정을 중심으로 (Online Master's Degrees in Music Education)

  • 정보통신의 발달과 함께 평등한 교육기회를 제공해야 한다는 인식은 원격교육의 발달을 가져오게 되었으며, 이는 미래의 새로운 교육시스템으로 자리 잡고 있다. 학위 취득을 원하는 현직 교사들에게 온라인 원격교육은 시간적, 공간적 제약, 비용과 같은 걸림돌 없이, 전문성을 함양할 수 있는 대안으로 제시되고 있으며, 미국에서는 이미 음악교육 분야에서 온라인 석사학위과정이 운영되고 있다. 이에 National Association of Schools of Music(NASM)이 승인한 총 8개의 대학을 선정하여, 입학요건, 프로그램의 특징, 교육과정을 비교분석하였다. 온라인 원격교육의 편리함을 담보로 한 양적 팽창과 함께 온라인 교육과정의 질에 대한 우려도 계속적으로 제기되고 있다. 온라인 교육을 위한 교수진의 재교육 뿐 아니라, 기술적 지원에 대한 문제, 지적재산권, 소유권과 같은 행정적인 문제, 시스템 구축을 위한 기술적 문제, 온라인 교육과정의 계획, 개발, 평가를 위한 기준 마련 등 생각해야 될 부분이 많이 있다. 하지만, 다양한 관점에서의 연구를 바탕으로 교육이론과 실제사이의 격차를 줄여 나간다면 궁극적으로, 지리적, 시간적으로 소외된 계층에게 학습의 기회를 제공함으로써 국가 경쟁력 강화에 이바지 할 것으로 기대된다.
