Lighting in a fashion shop has an effect on customers, highlights the products on the shelf, and has become more important. Even though lighting has a significant effect on customers, the studies on fashion shop lighting have primarily focused on how to create lighting which can influence customers' purchase behavior, and their awareness and expectation. On the contrary, it's been hard to find a study on a quantified fashion shop lighting plan considering customer confidence. In a current fashion shop lighting plan, display lighting is planned indiscreetly. Therefore, this study conducted an investigation of the light environment of the current fashion shop and museum exhibits lighting. Through such processes, the possibility of applying fashion store display lighting environments was investigated. Finally, for the assessment of museum exhibitions lighting applying fashion store display lighting environments, a subjective evaluation method using light simulation was proposed.

박물관에서 조명에 의한 전시물의 손상이 일어나는 것을 최소화하기 위해서 적절한 조명 기준이 요구된다. 이러한 조명 기준의 작성을 위한 기초 자료를 얻기 위하여, 방사에너지의 파장의 함수로 전시물의 변색을 측정할 수 있는 장치를 구성하였다. 크세논 램프를 광원으로 사용하고, 빛은 여러 가지 차광 필터를 통과하여 시료에 입사한다. 여러 차광 필터 밑의 시료의 색을 측정함으로써 특정 파장 범위의 방사 에너지에 의한 사료의 변색을 추정하였다. 측정 결과, 식물 염료들은 단시간에 심한 변색을 보였으나, 전래 종이는 상대적으로 거의 변색이 되지 않았다. 측정 결과를 이용하여 다른 광원에 의한 변색을 예측할 수 잇으며, 이는 조명 기준 작성의 근거가 된다.

Traditionally exhibition design as been restricted to architectural, interior, and lighting design, but recently it has begun to overlap into environmental, performance, and installation art. Exhibition design also increasingly involves the application of film, fashion, and the new media. In the past, exhibits were arranged and displayed for the visitor to view directly, but with the development of more effective exhibit media a connection has been created between the exhibit and the visitor. However exhibition design has reached the limits of continuous growth without background theory, when now it must take Into consideration the museum's activation and the importance of the exhibition's design. Exhibition design has developed and grown rapidly since the Taejeon Expo in 1993, but it is a difficult development without a theoretical structure. The flow of exhibition design must be systemized, as the systemization of the transition process of exhibition design has not yet been achieved. This study aims to present an arrangement of exhibition design flow, and to investigate the variation factors in the transition process of exhibition design and exhibit medium development, based on the 18 year history of the Independence Hall that introduced the first systematic planning of an exhibition in 1987.

본 연구는 어린이를 대상으로 한 어린이과학관의 전시 모형을 개발하여 어린이과학관 전시 연출의 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 전시 평가 분석틀과 유치원 교육과정을 기초로 하여 전시 주제로 '신체', '주변 사물', '자연 현상'을 전시 내용으로 한 전시를 제안하였다. '신체'를 주제로 한 전시의 연출은 동선과 색상 요소가 중요하며, '자연 현상'을 주제로 한 전시의 연출은 색상과 조명의 연출을 적용한 상황적 매체의 활용이 적절하다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 '주변 사물'을 주제로 한 전시의 연출은 사물을 대상으로 탐구할 수 있도록 단서나 설치물을 제공하는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 또한, 개발한 전시 모형의 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 전시 모형의 '거울'전시물에 대한 전시 연계프로그램을 개발하여 G과학관의 어린이관 방문 관람객에게 적용한 결과, 전시 모형을 통해 반사의 개념을 이해하고 표현할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 관람 대상에 적합한 전시 내용과 전시 매체, 전시 공간의 연출을 통해 전시 효과를 극대화하기 위한 전시 기획이 필요하며, 전시 기획에 있어 기초적인 가이드라인을 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.
