Among those various facilities attached to the school building, the Auditorium is being utilized for not only the Exercise Activity but also for many purposes such as Culture, Public Performance, Education, Assembly and so on. In order to utilize in maximum such function of the multipurpose auditorium, an adequate acoustic design with regard to the Clarity of Voice and Music in accordance with its use-purpose should be accompanied. However, as the most part of multipurpose auditoriums is designed with high ceiling-height by its peculiar character, and due to use of the material of strong reflexibility, it is appearing the defect that excessively exposes the reverberation of sound. In order to make out an optimal acoustic condition within the broad space such as an auditorium, the acoustic characteristics must be considered from the planning stage, however in the most case, those acoustic problems are being settled through the repair works after construction. On such viewpoint, this Study intends to analyze the room acoustic characteristics from the planning stage using a computer simulation based on the blueprint of multipurpose auditorium in S High School located in Gwangju. It is considered that the material analyzed in such way could be practically applied as a fundamental material enables to improve the acoustic capability when a similar broad space is planned hereafter.

The multipurpose auditoriums in schools are the center of local community and the places of their life-long education. The multipurpose auditoriums are to be open and made available for use by local public as far as it does not interfere with the education of the schools. However, most of them are not open to public on the pretext of management problems while demands of local communities for the opening of the facility is rising. The role of the multipurpose auditorium as the place of physical training and its maximum availability to local community have be taken into account of from its design stage. The location of the auditorium itself has to be close to the main entrance of the school for easy access, its facilities located in one common area, their management and maintenance scheme adopted appropriately but legally, and then security and safety measurement have to be devised. Also, more studies are necessary to propose detail regulations for local sports facilities and to develop their interrelationship and network, in connection with sophistication of school facilities and BTL system.

Auditorium and gymnasium are utilized in rare cases compared to the large spacial size. From Monday to Saturday, the use of them is extremely rare, which shows the serious example of economical inefficiency of architectural space. To solve these problems, inquiries from the various viewpoints will be necessary. Architecture-philosophically, how can space and time considered sufficiently? How is the structure related to phase. The object of this study is to arrange newly economical efficiency of space and time which are treated slightingly as they mentioned above and the plan about the design of the architectural space and multipurpose room.

For the recently constructing building, diverse forms of attempt are being applied with the environmental-friendly design and reflection of the design factor by environment simulation. Especially, in case of Multi-Purpose Hall, in view of its use-purpose and because of the characteristics that should be utilized as the multipurpose uses by well-mingled together with the lecture-wise factor and musical factor, now it could be said that the sufficient examination and planning with regard to the acoustic factor are essential. On such viewpoint, as the object of practically planning multipurpose auditorium, this Study has intended to design such auditorium equipped with the optimal architectural acoustic factor, for the acoustic condition using Acoustic Simulation Technique at the planning stage.

The purpose of this research is to make a basic study of a small theater planned to be built on the university campus for the exclusive use of performing arts. For this, the documents and records of small theaters in Seoul was first reviewed. And then, some selected theaters among small theaters opened since 2000 was examined and analyzed by their blueprints, design maps and actual measurement on the spot. Since 1990s, the increase in per capital income, the advancement of culture and arts, and the accompanying increase in demand have prompted universities to open performing arts courses. Going beyond the concept of a multipurpose auditorium a space devoted to professional performances has been increasingly needed by many universities. Small theaters that have been the subjects of study have become extinct or changed for other uses due to the rapid changes in the performing environment. This research examined theaters that have opened since 2000 and analyzed the data on their stages and seats. This study is intended for providing preliminary data for building of a small theater on the university campus.

This research aims to take a close look at the following topics; the ground elevation of playground, equipments of playground, and equipments around playground, and to propose the improvement measure for favorable educational environment. In consideration of the needs mentioned, the following improvement measure for playground can be suggested. First, the elevation of playground should be changed. According to Environment psychology, current playground elevation should be lowered 2 stair-long height from a classroom site. This kind of elevation change can remove unnecessary stairs, and reduces inconvenience incurred by stairs and edges, which results in considerable educational finance saving. Second, the incidental equipment within a playground needs to be improved. This fact is found out at the surveyed schools; school gathering is held at classrooms (through broadcasting) or a multi-purpose auditorium in place of a playground. The results of this study make us conclude that the most important issue to be considered in the processes of selection and investigation for school playground elevation, incidental equipments and others.

본 연구의 목적은 충남대표도서관의 이용자 서비스 및 이용 활성화 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌조사와 타 대표도서관 서비스 분석, 설문조사 등을 수행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 어린이자료실, 일반자료실, 전자자료실, 대강당, 다목적실, 야외무대, 전시실, 북카페 등 공간별 프로그램 방안, 둘째, 어린이, 청소년, 성인, 장애인, 다문화 가정 등 이용자 대상별 서비스 방안, 셋째, 인쇄매체서비스와 디지털자료서비스 등 자료유형별 정보서비스 방안, 넷째, 이동도서관 서비스 확대, 특수환경으로 인한 정보계층 대상 서비스, 이동도서관 규정 개발을 통한 정보취약계층을 위한 서비스 방안, 다섯째, 지역적 특성을 반영한 백제학 특성화 서비스, 충청학 향토자료 특성화 정보서비스, 행정 정책자료 정보서비스 등의 충청남도 도민을 위한 정보서비스 방안, 마지막으로 초기 이용자 확보 및 이용 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.
