  • In general, a measuring instrument of sound noise use only one wired channel by one sensor. Therefor the measuring instrument use wired cables as the number of channels are provided by instrument. In a point of observed target it needs data from multiple sensors and In case of measured point is a large numbers the environment of constitution would be complicated because that is in need of channel and cable. So we need the method that can improve the existing transmission channel and cable environment even the measured point is increased. If we use the Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) we transmit a large numbers of sensor data by using a common transmission channel. We present the method that transmits data of multiple sensor to wireless by using CDMA. This method can simplify the measurement environment dramatically when collecting data by using multiple sensor. We expect this study to contribute the part of multiple access technology and relation technologies on the measuring environment.

  • CSMA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access) is a media access control protocol when nodes use a shared channel. To reduce the probability of collision and increase the performance, the station lust checks the state of the channel. In this paper, we study the performance improvement method based on p-persistent strategy. The p-persistent method reduces the chance of collision and improves the efficiency. However, a probability p and the number of station affect the performance. This paper proposes a dynamic CSMA multiple access based on the network status. If the possibility of collision is low, the station increases the probability p to improve the performance. In the opposite case, the station decreases the probability p. Our simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms any methods of CSMA multiple access according to the current persistent strategy.

  • WLAN is the best choice in the place where complex network is hard to set up. Intelligent terminals are more and more assembled in some areas now. However, according to IEEE 802.11n/802.11ac, the access-point (AP) can only serve one user at a single frequency channel. The spectrum efficiency urgently needs to be improved. In theory, AP with multi-antenna can serve multiple users if these users do not interfere with each other. In this paper, we propose a user clustering scheme that could achieve multi-user selection through the mutual cooperation among users. We focus on two points, one is to achieve multi-user communication with multiple antennas technique at a single frequency channel, and the other one is to use a way of distributed users' collaboration to determine the multi-user selection for user clustering. Firstly, we use the CSMA/CA protocol to select the first user, and then we set this user as a source node using users' cooperation to search other proper users. With the help of the users' broadcast cooperation, we can search and select other appropriate user (while the number of access users is limited by the number of antennas in AP) to access AP with the first user simultaneously. In the network node searching, we propose a maximum degree energy routing searching algorithm, which uses the shortest time and traverses as many users as possible. We carried out the necessary analysis and simulation to prove the feasibility of the scheme. We hope this work may provide a new idea for the solution of the multiple access problem.

  • A channel-shared modified accelerative pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (CMAP-WDMA) media access control (MAC) has been proposed for metro-WDMA networks, as an extension of modified pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (MAP-WDMA) MAC protocol. Similarly, CAP WDMA as an extension of accelerative pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (AP-WDMA) MAC protocol. Performance of CMAP- and CAP-WDMA was extensively investigated under several channel sharing methods (CSMs), asymmetric traffic load patterns (TLPs), and non-uniform traffic distribution patterns (TDPs). The result showed that the channel utilization of the CMAP-WDMA always outperforms that of CAP-WDMA at the expense of longer channel access delay for channel shared case while CMAP-WDMA provided higher channel utilization at specific network conditions but always shorter channel access delay than CAP-WDMA for non-channel shared case. Additionally both for CMAP- and CAP-WDMA, determining an effective CSM is a critical design issue because TDPs and TLPs can be neither managed nor expected while CSM is manageable, and the CSM supporting the best channel utilization can be recommended.

  • OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) is widely used as multiple access techniques for next generation mobile communication systems. However, OFDMA has a disadvantage of high peak-to-average power ratio and SC-FDMA (Single-Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) was proposed for uplink systems to overcome the drawback. SC-FDMA also has several demerits including degraded performance with high-order modulations or with multiple antenna techniques, and less flexibility in resource allocation and pilot patterns. In order to achieve the best performance over a wide range of environments, each mobile station should select either of OFDMA and SC-FDMA according to the given condition and a pilot structure for SC-FDMA systems should be similar to that of OFDMA to maintain the same frame structure. While conventional SC-FDMA schemes require an entire SC-FDMA symbol or a separate short symbol for pilots, this paper proposes a method which supports the pilots included in SC-FDMA data parts and enables a SC-FDMA frame to hold the same structure as an OFDMA frame.

  • In this paper, we introduced our designed TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) based MAC (Medium Access Control) protocol for Home Networks called HomeTDMA. We have implemented and tested it in a test bed using crossbow motes and TinyOS. We also have compared HomeTDMA and CSMA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access) in terms of space and time complexity, channel access time, delivery success ratio, and throughput. Based on our results, HomeTDMA has an advantage over CSMA on channel access time, throughput and delivery success ratioIn the case of complexity, HomeTDMA is more complex compared to CSMA. Thus, CSMA is more appropriate in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) where memory, energy, and throughput are important parameters to be considered. However, HomeTDMA has a natural advantage of collision free medium access and is very promising for home networks where a reliable transmission or data transfer and congestion control is highly preferred.

  • In the uplink of OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) based M-WiMAX(Mobile-Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) system, linear phase shift is caused by signals transmitted from multiuser with different delay time and thus, MAI (Multiple Access Interference) occurs. MAI degrades the performance of ranging code detection and delay time estimation in the uplink. Therefore, in this paper, we propose ranging algorithm, applying SIC (Successive Interference Cancellation) to the conventional ranging algorithm, to minimize MAI and to improve ranging performance. The proposed ranging algorithm is verified through the Monte Carlo simulation, which shows the improved performance of ranging code detection and delay time estimation compared to the conventional algorithms. Through compared with random access of the 3GPP LTE, we can know limit of ranging performance.

  • This Paper Proposes a new efficient system design strategies for the acoustic-based underwater multiple modem and media access control protocol. The system aims to establish the acoustic-based communication network of an underwater vehicles for deep sea mining, which ensures a certain level of maximum throughput regardless of the propagation delay of acoustic and allows fast data transmission through the acoustic-based multiple channel. A media access control protocol for integrated communication network and it's acoustic-based communication modems that allows 'peer-to-peer' communication between a surface mining plant multiple underwater system is designed, and the proposed media access control protocol is implemented for its verification. Furthermore, a proposed design strategies which make it possible to control the multiple vehicle for an underwater mining is presented in this paper.
