  • The Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL) is a recommendation from the W3C that makes authoring of TV-like multimedia presentations on the Web easier. It uses the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) to define a set of markup tags to synchronize the timing and positioning relationships between multimedia objects. We present the design and implementation of JAVA-based SMIL player, SSP(Sejong SMIL Player). SSP processes different types of media objects using multiple threads. Moreover, its cache engine detects the mediatype and allocates the proper cache memory for the corresponding media object.

  • In order to serve effective teaching and teaming environments with an appropriate harmony of hard technologies and soft technologies and to contribute to multimedia contents design and development this study shows that the theoretical backgrounds, producing backgrounds, contents scenario, and related research as well as their use and integration into realistic classroom. In our environments, it is believed that it is possible for us to develop effective mathematics educational multimedia development fitting to our culture and emotion. Thus it is urged that the government should support the professional multimedia development & production association enthusiastically.

  • 기존의 패션 디자인 시스템은 도식화 피스 기반 디자인 기능이 미성숙 단계로서 도식화 피스 데이터베이스 구축이 미약하여 활용하는데 많은 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 패션디자인에 필요한 가장 기본이 되는 도식화 피스별 데이터베이스를 설계 및 구축하고 데이터베이스 검색 및 수정 모듈을 개발함으로써 도식화 피스 데이터를 쉽게 관리하여 경쟁력 있고 효율적인 디자인을 창출할 수 있게 하였다.

  • This thesis is designed to investigate the relationship of Web Multimedia design. Web sites are needed to approach the lot of ways that increase the user intuitive lay over communicating information nowadays. In the digital era of today, multimedia is composed of such various elements as text, image, sound, animation, video. The method of the thesis is a research questions as this follow. First, the structuring element of the web site type was classified by a form and the contents in the web site. These types in this classified web site are HTML, flash and mixed type. Second, to study this thesis, we made up pose a questionnaire to students in the university as th method of random sampling. The goal of this survey is that user is how to understand about the web multimedia design. Results of analysis may be summarized as follows: 1) It was the image design in the NIKE web site that there would be evaluated the best design effected by flash, and it is finding that the NIDE web site will need more supporting Information, Interactive design through this studies. 2) It was information that there would be evaluated good design effect by text and image in SAMSUNG web site. Based on HTML, SAMSUNG need supporting motion image design by this studies. In conclusion, this thesis suggests that the each web medias should be constructed by the different web design component, according to information, Interactive, image design of web site.

  • According to the progress of multimedia technology and growth of high speed network, plenty of multimedia contents are produced and in circulation. Because of these reasons, it is required that the method which can manage efficiently and make multimedia contents, for which are saved in Storage as different used, synchronize. In this paper, the metadata schema that can manage the method with being database using each Device metadata that are produced by extracting the needed information to multimedia contents is suggested. And the method that can make synchronized multimedia contents metadata on connecting between heterogeneous devices is proposed.

  • It becomes enabled to provide variety of multimedia contents through mobile service with the development of high-speed 3rd generation mobile communication and handsets. MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) can be displayed in the presentation format which is unified the various multimedia contents such as text, audio, image, video, etc. It is applicable as a new type of ubiquitous learning. In this study we propose to design a mobile learning system by providing profiles which meets the standard of CC/PP and by generating multimedia messages based on SMIL language through the adaptation steps according to the learning environment, the content type, and the device property of learners.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 많은 사람들에게 각광받고 있는 트릭아트 전시물에 증강현실 기술을 활용한 형태의 서비스 구조 설계를 제안한다. 트릭아트는 기존 전시와의 차별성을 위해 사용자의 참여를 유도하면서, 다양한 표현방식의 전시 정보 제공이 요구된다. 이에 제안하는 서비스 구조 설계는 눈의 착시현상을 이용하는 트릭아트의 각 전시물 특성에 맞춰 마커와 마커리스 방식으로 구분하고 전시 정보를 제공하며, 원활한 서비스 제공을 위해 웹 환경을 기반으로 한다.
