  • This paper is channel assignment and scheduling techniques for efficient wireless AMI network. In AMI system, the multi-channel cluster network to be proposed defines the communication channel between NC (Network Coordinator) and CDA (Clustered Data Aggregator) as the network channel. CDA and OMD(Out Meter display) and communication channel between SMD(Smart Meter Device) are defined as the group channel. AMI network of the multi-channel cluster based in which the network channel and group channel is mixed increases the administration efficiency through the physical/logical consumer channel clustering. The reliability of inspection data through the channel use distinguished between the adjacent cluster is enhanced. In addition, the fast aggregation of data is possible and the size of a metering network is increased through the channel allocation of the multichannel cluster based.

  • In this article, the vibration behavior of double-bonded sandwich microplates with homogeneous core and nanocomposite facesheets reinforced by carbon nanotube and boron nitride nanotube under multi physical fields such as 2D magnetic and electric fields is investigated. Symmetric and un-symmetric distributions of nanotubes are considered for facesheets of sandwich microplates such as uniform distribution and various functionally graded distributions. The double-bonded sandwich microplates rest on visco-Pasternak foundation. Material properties of sandwich microplates are obtained by the extended rule of mixture. The sinusoidal shear deformation theory (SSDT) is employed to describe displacement fields of sandwich microplates. Also, the dimensionless natural frequency is obtained by classical plate theory (CPT) and compared with the obtained results by SSDT. It can be seen that the obtained dimensionless natural frequencies by CPT are higher than SSDT. In order to study the material length scale parameters, modified strain gradient theory at micro scale is utilized and then, the equations of motion are derived using Hamilton's principle. The effects of different parameters such as foundation parameters including Winkler, shear layer and damping coefficients, various distributions and volume fraction of nanotubes, core to facesheet thickness ratio, aspect and side ratios on the dimensionless natural frequencies are discussed in details. The results of present work can be used to optimum design and control of similar systems such as micro-electro-mechanical and nano-electro-mechanical devices.

  • Historically, college campuses have played a role of a city, and the development pattern of various forms and functions of cities was found in the growth stages of campuses as well. In this way, campuses developed in close relationships with our lives and such a characteristic can be confirmed in a number of cases in and out of the country. The strategic concept of such expansion is shown in the strategic classification through a master plan. This research examines concepts of major universities in the metropolitan area of Korea for promoting campus expansion and proposes implications through them. The results drawn from the research are as follows. Firstly, various developmental directions should be sought in aspects of planning, programming and economics for campus expansion with the complex application of such factors. Secondly, the multi-campus strategy of past localization era is changing into the concept of forming a global campus materializing itself as the planning strategy of internal campus. Thirdly, the physical barrier is being dissolved as a way to promote the relationship with local communities, and particularly, the management strategy of constructing new buildings in connection with local communities is the leading measure of materialization. Lastly, the development of underground space is actively carried out due to the limitation of ground physical space through which a role of establishing new campus order along with securing space is pursued.

  • In the era of M-ICT (mobile information communication technology), it is becoming more and more important to establish a city brand image that is "user-centered" and creates a new experience of "interaction between people, people and things, and people and space". The experience of city users on the brand image of a city is the key factor to determine the competitiveness of the city, among which the user's research on the touch point of the city brand is particularly important. The purpose of this study is to enhance the user's brand experience and enhance the city's brand competitiveness. The research methods of this paper are literature review and investigation. Firstly, the background and purpose of the study are expounded, then the characteristics and ways of user experience touch points are defined through the document review, and the multi-latitude composition model of city brand touch points is proposed. By means of user investigation, the structural characteristics of high frequency touch points between digital touch points and physical touch points are obtained. According to the problems found in the investigation, the optimal design strategy of touch point is put forward in combination with the case. The innovation of this study is to study the relationship between the city brand and the touch point of user experience from the perspective of user experience, and propose a multi-latitude model of the touch point of city brand.

  • Refuse incineration plant operations involve many kinds of uncertain factors, such as the variable physical properties of refuse as fuel and the complexity of the burning phenomenon. This makes it very dificult to apply conventional control methods to the combustion control of the refuse. So most of the refuse incineration plant are operated by operators. In this paper, an multi-variable fuzzy model predictive controller is proposed for the combustion control of the re:fuse. Adaptive network based fuzzy inference system is used for modeling of the refuse incineration plant and multi-variable fuzzy model predictive controller is designed based on the identified fuzzy model. And computer simulation was carried out to evaluate performance of the proposed controller.

  • In case of environment requiring safety such as human body and requiring flexible shape, a conventional mechanical actuator system does not satisfy requirement. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, a research of various smart material such as EAP (Electro Active Polymer), EAC (Electro Active Ceramic) and SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) is in progress. Recently, the highest preferring material among various smart material is EP (Electrostictive Polymer), because it has very fast response time, poerful force and large displacement. The previous researches have been studied properties of polymer and simple control, but present researches are studied a polymer actuator. An EP (Electostrictive Polymer) actuator has properties which change variably as shape and environmental condition. Therefore, in order to coincide with a user's purpose, it is important not only to decide a shape of actuator and mechanical design but also to investigate a efficient controller. In this paper, we constructed the control logic with an adaptive fuvy algorithm which depends on the physical properties of EP that has a dielectric constant depending on time.

  • The concept of a 'place' in contemporary cities has been fundamentally challenged by the social, economical changes as well as the global digital network. The complex and multi-layered contemporary everyday life blur the boundaries of the existing architectural programs. In contemporary architecture, various proposals have attempted to overcome the physical limitations. 'Activity Diagram' is one of them. Activity diagram is a diagrammatized design process In which the given program is analyzed into individual activities, then it is re-organized and finally spatialized based on the analysis. In many projects by Manuel Gausa, Ben Van Berkel and Vicente Guallart, the activity diagram is applied in various forms and they are explained with theoretical backgrounds. Based on how the given program is re-organized into assembly of activities and how diagram is applied, five analytical elements were selected to critically analyze three chosen architects' case projects. In this study, it is found that architects attempt to construct an open networked world where diverse activities are freely interconnected in spite of some fundamental limitations of activity diagrams.

  • Purpose: Cancer patients are at a higher risk of being unemployed or facing difficulty in returning to work (RTW) than individuals without health concerns. The aim of this study is to identify and describe interventions developed specifically to assist cancer patients to RTW after treatment. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted from September to October 2018 in different international databases: PubMed, Medline, and Embase. Studies using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed designs were included if they satisfied the following criteria: (a) described an intervention to assist cancer patients to RTW during or after treatment; (b) conducted on patients aged 18 and over and diagnosed with cancer; (c) written in English; (d) published in peer-reviewed journals. Results: Fourteen studies met the inclusion criteria. Counseling with physical activity intervention, behavioral training to reduce fatigue, and multi-disciplinary rehabilitation programs were found to be effective. Conclusion: Interventions adopting a multidisciplinary approach were effective for RTW in cancer patients. This literature review emphasizes the need for more tailored interventions based on survivors' needs and characteristics in the RTW field.
