In this paper, we propose the multi-axial classification system using parallel coding method that is systemic and flexible properties for representing dental clinical behavior. The methodology and organization of this thesis as follows. First, an analysis of other classification systems. Second, the domain of medical behavior and axises using selected elements was were determined. Third, the new code system is constructed of these common factors in properties of prediction of hierarchy, brevity, simplicity, flexibility and mnemonic usage. Finally, the framework of classification system for dental was made using multi-axial code system. The result of the this study, the eight bases axis of multi-axial code system is composed and can be basic information of research for construction of classification system of all medical domain.

This thesis proposes a fuzzy logic cross coupled controller for a multi axis servo system. The overall control system consists of three elements: the axial position controller, the speed controller, and a fuzzy logic cross coupled controller. In conventional multi axis servo system, the motion of each axis is controlled independently without regard to the motion of other axes, in which the contour error, defined as the shortest distance between the desired and actual contours is compensated only by the position error of each axis. This decoupled control approach may result in degraded contouring performance due to such factors as mismatch of axial dynamics and axial loop gains. In practice, such systems contain many uncertainties, Therefore, the multi axis servo system must receive and evaluate the motion of all axes for a better contouring accuracy. Cross coupled controller utilizes all axis position error information simultaneously to produce accurate contours. However the existing cross coupled controllers cannot overcome friction, backlash and parameter variation. Also, since it is difficult to obtain an accurate mathematical model of multi axis system, here we investigate a fuzzy logic cross coupled controller method. Some simulations and experimental results are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed controller.

Vibration test on MAST(multi axial simulation table) system has several advantage over one-axial vibration test that could simulate 6-DOF, 3-axial translation and 3-axial moment, at the same time. Since field vibration motion can be fully represented with 6-DOF, multi-axial vibration test on vehicle component is widely conducted in technical leading companies to make sure its fatigue performance in vibration environment. On the way to fulfill the process, editing technique of obtained field data is key issue to success a reliable vibration testing with MAST system. Since the original signals are not only too large to fulfill it directly, but all of the measured data is not guarantee its convergency on generating its driving files, editing technique of the original signals are highly required to make some events that should meet the equal fatigue damage on the target component In this paper, key technique on editing a field data feasible for MAST system is described based on energy method in vibration fatigue. To explain its technique explicitly, author first introduced a process on field data acquisition of two vehicle component and then, representing events are produced to keep up with the editing strategy about a energy method. In the final chapter, a time information regarding a vibration test on MAST system is derived from the energy data which is critical information to perform a vibration test.
This paper describes overall background and current status of the establishment of multi axial fatigue testing system for rail fastening component/system. With above viewpoint, general features of rail fastening system, domestic/international testing standards, main features of testing system, application plan, etc. are summarized.
This study conducted a comparative analysis of differences between cartesian trajectory in a linear rectangular coordinate system and MultiVane trajectory in a nonlinear rectangular coordinate system axial T1 and axial T2 images using an American College of Radiology(ACR) phantom. The phantom was placed at the center of the head coil and the top-to-bottom and left-to-right levels were adjusted by using a level. The experiment was performed according to the Phantom Test Guidance provided by the ACR, and sagittal localizer images were obtained. As shown in Figure 2, slices # 1 and # 11 were scanned after placing them at the center of a $45^{\circ}$ wedge shape, and a total of 11 slices were obtained. According to the evaluation results, the image intensity uniformity(IIU) was 93.34% for the cartesian trajectory, and 93.19% for the MultiVane trajectory, both of which fall under the normal range in the axial T1 image. The IIU for the cartesian trajectory was 0.15% higher than that for the MultiVane trajectory. In axial T2, the IIU was 96.44% for the cartesian trajectory, and 95.97% for the MultiVane trajectory, which fall under the normal range. The IIU for the cartesian trajectory was by 0.47% higher than that for the MultiVane trajectory. As a result, the cartesian technique was superior to the MultiVane technique in terms of the high-contrast spatial resolution, image intensity uniformity, and low-contrast object detectability.

A multi-purpose cyclotron, MC50 has been operated to provide multi-ions of proton, deuteron and alpha at Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences (KIRAMS). Neutron is also produced through the (p,n) nuclear process with a Be target. However, a wide spectrum of current of ions is requested by beam users for carrying their various application fields. Therefore a simulation study is requested on the design of an axial injection system for high current proton and alpha beam extraction for radio-isotope productions and scientific researches. The purpose of this study is seeking a relatively simple method for the MC50 having higher alpha beam capability and also improving proton and deuteron beams currently used. We are considering two possibilities to improve the internal ion source and to install a new external axial injection system. The external injection system will be consisted of an Einzel lens, a steering magnet, a buncher, and a glazer lens placed in front of an inflector, which is located at the center of the main magnet.

In this study, axial vibration analysis has been conducted on a propulsion and lift shafting system for an air cushion vehicle using ANSYS code. The shafting system is totally flexible multi-elements system including wood composite material of air propeller. aluminum alloy of lift fan and thin walled shaft with flexible coupling. The analysis calculated the axial natural frequencies and mode shapes of the shafting system taking into account an equivalent mass-elastic model for shafting system as well as the three-dimensional models for propeller blade and fan impeller. Such a flexible shafting system has very intricate vibrating characteristics and especially, axial natural frequencies of flexible components such as propeller blade and impeller of lift fan can be lower to the extent that causes a resonance in the range of operating revolution. The results for axial vibration analysis are presented and compared with the results of axial vibration test for lift fan conducted during Sea Trial.

Multi-axial simulation table(MAST) is widely used in motor companies as the multi-axial excitor for vibration fatigue of target component, which provides the vibrational condition as close as the vehicle test. However, the vibration fatigue performance of target component can be guaranteed with MAST system only in case the input profile covers the required severity of the target component on field test. In this paper, the signal processing for multi-axial vibration fatigue test on vehicle component is presented, from the data acquisition of the target component to the derivation of input profile. To compare the severity of vibration condition between field and proving ground, the energy principle of a equivalent damage is proposed and then, it is determined the optimal combination of special events on proving ground using a sequential searching optimal algorithm. To explain the vibration methodology clearly, seat and door component of vehicle are selected as a example.

This paper contains various vibration analysis of multi-stage shaft shape such as the bending, torsional and axial vibration. The shaft system is modeled as Timoshenko beam with the transverse shear and rotary inertia effect and the equation of motion is derived by Hamilton's principle with considering clamped-free boundary condition. Then, eigenvalue problem of discrete equation of motion for multi-stage shaft model is solved and got results of the natural frequency through the numerical analysis. Obtained numerical analysis results through Matlab program were compared with those of FEM analysis to verify the results. This study suggests that design of shaft system be consider torsional and axial vibration as well as bending vibration.
