제품정보관리를 위한 통합적 멀티BOM시스템 (An Integrated Multi-BOM System for Product Data Management)

  • Bill of material (BOM), which structurally represents the relation among parts constructing a product, is usually created when enterprises start to develop a new product. And it is shown as various types of BOM according to business needs and usage such as eBOM (engineering BOM), gBOM (green BOM), mBOM (manufacturing BOM), pBOM (process BOM), etc. eBOM, generally called BOM and created in the design stage of the new product, includes the drawing information of parts in the view of product function. eBOM is extended to gBOM adding the material information of parts to cope with international regulations for environment. eBOM is transformed to mBOM, which includes manufacturing sequence of parts and adds some parts required to fabricate parts and to assemble the product. mBOM is also extended to pBOM adding the process information of each part and additional assembly processes. This study introduces the concept of multi-BOM covering eBOM, gBOM, mBOM and pBOM, and proposes an advanced way to manage product data using multi-BOM system. The multi-BOM system proposed is to manage their relations using transformation function of BOM and master information of all BOMs.

알루미늄 캔 딥드로잉에서 Bottoming을 이용한 스프링백 최소화 (Springback Minimization using Bottoming in Al Can Deep Drawing Process)

  • 다단 딥드로잉의 기술은 제조 비용과 사이클 시간 단축 등의 장점으로 인해서 금속 성형 산업에 널리 적용되고 있다. 다단 딥드로잉으로 만들어진 제품의 형상이 복잡하고 세장비 큰 특징을 가진다. 예를 들어, 휴대 전화의 배터리 캔은 대표적으로 다단 딥드로잉으로 만들어진 제품이다. 배터리캔의 형상은 높이와 두께의 큰 종횡비를 가지고 있기 때문에 제조하기 무척 어렵다. 또한 최종 조립된 부품은 다단계 딥드로잉 후 스프링백으로 인해 조립 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 배터리 캔의 조립 시 발생하는 품질 문제를 개선하기 위해서 는 드로잉 후 스프링을 줄이기는 것이 매우 중요하다. 스프링백을 감소시키기 위해 산업 현장에서는 over bending, corner setting 및 Ironing 등의 경험적 방법을 적용해 왔으나, 본 연구에서는 유한 요소법을 이용한 보토밍(Bottoming)법을 제안하여 스프링을 줄이는 실용적이고 과학적인 방법을 제안하였다. 보토밍은 드로잉으로 성형된 최종 판재에 펀치로 압축 응력을 더욱 부가하여 스프링을 감소시키는 방법이다. 최적의 금형설계를 위해서 다양한 경우의 보토밍 공정 해석 시뮬레이션이 상용 유한요소 해석프로그램 (DYNAFORM)을 이용하여 연구되였다. 보토밍 공정을 적용한 제품의 스프링백 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험 결과와 비교되었고 그 시뮬레이션 결과는 실험과 잘 일치함을 보여 주었다. 결론적으로, 제안된 보토밍 방법은 산업계에서 스프링을 줄이기 위한 실용적인 방법으로 널리 사용될 것으로 예상된다.

사각형 캔 드로잉 다단 공정에서 성형성과 제품형상을 동시에 고려한 초기 블랭크 형상 최적 설계 (Initial Blank Optimization Design of Square Can Multistage Drawing considering Formability and Product Shape)

  • 다단 딥드로잉 기술은 제품의 생산성 향상과 비용 절감을 위해 휴대폰 배터리 케이스 제품의 생산 공정으로 많이 사용하고 있다. 휴대폰 배터리 케이스는 용량과 강성을 목적으로 세장비가 큰 사각 컵 형상으로 제조된다. 사각 컵 형상의 다단 딥드로잉은 세장비가 크고, 복잡한 변형 형태 메커니즘으로 인한 제품의 좌우 높이 차이가 발생한다. 이로 인해 제품 조립과 표면 품질에 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위해 제품의 높이 차이가 최소가 되는 블랭크 형상에 대해 연구했다. 제품 좌우 높이 차이가 최소가 되는 블랭크 형상을 찾기 위해 최적 설계와 해석을 수행했다. 타원형 블랭크의 장변과 단변을 설계 변수로 설정하고, 목적 함수는 높이 차이가 최소가 되도록, 제품의 두께 감소율이 목표 범위에 도달하도록 설정했다. 또한 최종 제품 형상의 높이를 구속 조건으로 설정하였다. 그 결과 최적 설계를 통한 초기 블랭크 설계로 높이 차이가 최소가 되었으며, 원하는 공정을 지정하여 높이 차이가 최소화 되도록 수행 가능하다. 향후 개발된 자동화 프로세스로 인해 모든 각형 타입의 초기 소재 설계가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • All Korean professional engineer′s great joy Is to welcome the Japanese professional engineers and relevant guests to the 1987 Japan-Korea Professional Engineers Joint Convention organized by the Korean Professional Engineers Association. As there exists an effort of blood, sweat and tear behind a succeeded theatrical stage, so an exquisite devotion with drawing up a master plan, investigation, supervision and etc by engineering firms is soaked through every part of huge construction projects and large unit factory buildings. It is over 14 years that the Engineering Service Promotion Law has been enacted by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In the meantime, the domestic engineering (engineering service) have reached a remarkable higher level while the number of engineering firms participating in overseas market has gradually been increasing. From a small scale of under water investigation to a large scale planning of atomic reactor or petrochemical plant, engineering service business can be said "The Software of Total Industry." Engineering service is what is called a higher business which offers specialized engineering know-how and experience. Engineering service compaines offer Its specialized knowledge and experience to government, industry and commerce. Whether the task is to modernize plant equipment, to design a building or to manage construction, an engineering company will develop and implement the most appropriate and cost effective solution. Clients use the engineering service of firm knowing that the engineer′s professional judgement is not influenced or biased by other commercial affiliations. While benefiting from the diverse experience that professional engineers can apply to a specific problem, government and industry also reduce the need for permanent in-house engineering staff. Engineering firms may be specialized or multi-disciplinary.

  • Precision progressive die have used for above ten thousand pieces of lot size production part. In the field of design and making tool for press working, the progressive die for sheet metal (SPC, thickness : 2mm) is a specific division. In order to prevent the defects, the optimum design of the U-bending production part, strip layout, die design, die making and tryout etc. are necessary. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, i.e. theory and practice of metal pres working and its phenomena, die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die component, know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and constructed a progressive die of multi-stage and performed try out. Out of these processes the die development could be taken for advance. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis become the characteristics of this paper (part 1 and part 2) that nothing might be ever seen before such as this type of research method on all the processes. In the part 2 of this study we treated die making and tryout mostly.

가공경화를 이용한 고강도 Al 6056 볼트의 생산 공정설계 (Manufacturing Process Design of High Strength Al 6056 Bolts by Strain Hardening Effect)

  • This study was conducted on the manufacturing method of high-strength aluminum bolts. We obtained the displacement-load information by tensile test of the Al 6056 raw material and the T6 heat-treated material and calculated the precise flow stress and fracture limit using repetitive finite element analysis for before and after heat treatment. We designed a multi-stage forging process for T6 heat-treated material, and calculated that the accumulated damage value does not exceed fracture limits by finite element method. We produced the prototype forgings without any harmful defects such as cracks and folding occurring. Bolts made of T6 heat treated material show 9.6%higher tensile strength than T6 heat treated material after wire drawing.

건설공사 공사비 예측 및 관리기술 발전방향 : 호주 사례를 중심으로 (Direction for Improving Cost Estimation and Management of Construction Projects : Comparing to Australian System)

  • 건설 프로젝트는 생산과정 이전에 설계도면을 바탕으로 예상되는 비용이 산정되며, 기획단계는 소요예산을 책정하고 설계단계는 예산에 합당한 효율적 대안을 찾으며, 정확한 입찰금액을 예측하기 위해 수차례 이루어진다. 특히, 물량산출 이전까지 예측되는 공사비의 정확도와 신뢰도는 매우 중요하다. 그러나, 국내의 경우 면적당 단가 방식 공사비 예측을 벗어나지 못할 뿐 아니라, 단계별 예측방법, 프로세스, 데이터 분석 및 관리기술 등이 표준화되어 체계적이고 종합적으로 관리되지 못하고 있다. 이에 국내 공사비 예측기술 및 관리기술 발전을 위하여 첫째, 표준화된 공사비 데이터베이스 구축과 국가차원의 종합적 관리가 필요하며, 구축 방법으로 다차원 공사비 데이터베이스 개념모델 CUBE를 제시하였다. 둘째 단계별 공사비 예측의 목적에 맞는 코스트 모델 적용이 필요하며, 코스트 모델의 방법론을 기획단계와 설계단계로 구분하여 제시하였다. 셋째, 이러한 두 가지 코스트 모델을 적용한 코스트 플래닝 프로세스를 제시하였고, 넷째, 공사비 예측 및 관리 전문인력 양성의 필요성을 제시하였다.

In vivo multiplex gene targeting with Streptococcus pyogens and Campylobacter jejuni Cas9 for pancreatic cancer modeling in wild-type animal

  • Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is a lethal cancer type that is associated with multiple gene mutations in somatic cells. Genetically engineered mouse is hardly applicable for developing a pancreatic cancer model, and the xenograft model poses a limitation in the reflection of early stage pancreatic cancer. Thus, in vivo somatic cell gene engineering with clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats is drawing increasing attention for generating an animal model of pancreatic cancer. In this study, we selected Kras, Trp53, Ink4a, Smad4, and Brca2 as target genes, and applied Campylobacter jejuni Cas9 (CjCas9) and Streptococcus pyogens Cas9 (SpCas9) for developing pancreatic cancer using adeno associated virus (AAV) transduction. After confirming multifocal and diffuse transduction of AAV2, we generated SpCas9 overexpression mice, which exhibited high double-strand DNA breakage (DSB) in target genes and pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) lesions with two AAV transductions; however, wild-type (WT) mice with three AAV transductions did not develop PanIN. Furthermore, small-sized Cjcas9 was applied to WT mice with two AAV system, which, in addition, developed high extensive DSB and PanIN lesions. Histological changes and expression of cancer markers such as Ki67, cytokeratin, Mucin5a, alpha smooth muscle actin in duct and islet cells were observed. In addition, the study revealed several findings such as 1) multiple DSB potential of AAV-CjCas9, 2) peri-ductal lymphocyte infiltration, 3) multi-focal cancer marker expression, and 4) requirement of > 12 months for initiation of PanIN in AAV mediated targeting. In this study, we present a useful tool for in vivo cancer modeling that would be applicable for other disease models as well.
