지뢰탐지 실험플랫폼의 진동 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Vibration Characteristic for the Mine Detectable Test Platform)

  • In this paper, analysis of the vibration Characteristic for the Mine Detectable Test Platform is described. The test platform system is the multi-sensor mine detectable vehicle. This multi-sensor mine detectable unit is more efficient detection performance than other conventional methods. The test platform system has five subsystems, the UWB(Ultra Wide Band) sensor scanner, the MD(Metal Detector) sensor scanner, the neutron sensor scanner, and the detectable vehicle. We perform the vibration tests for the test platform and analyze the vibration characteristic, such as the max displacement, the max deformation and the max Von-Misses Stress.

  • The aim of this work for 5 years from 1994 is to develop a multi-fingered robot hand and its control system for grasp and manipulation of objects dexterously. Since the robot hand is still being developed, a commercialized robot hand from Barrett Company is utilized to implement a hand controller and control algorithm. For this, VME based motion control and interface boards are developed and multi-sensors such as encoder, force/torque sensor, dynamic sensor and artificial skin sensor are partly developed and employed for the grasping control algorithm. In oder to handle uncertainties such as mechanical idleness and backlash, a fuzzy rule based grasping algorithm is also considered and tested with the developed control system.

센서 융합을 이용한 움직이는 물체의 동작예측에 관한 연구 (Motion Estimation of 3D Planar Objects using Multi-Sensor Data Fusion)

  • Motion can be estimated continuously from each sensor through the analysis of the instantaneous states of an object. This paper is aimed to introduce a method to estimate the general 3D motion of a planar object from the instantaneous states of an object using multi-sensor data fusion. The instantaneous states of an object is estimated using the linear feedback estimation algorithm. The motion estimated from each sensor is fused to provide more accurate and reliable information about the motion of an unknown planar object. We present a fusion algorithm which combines averaging and deciding. With the assumption that the motion is smooth, the approach can handle the data sequences from multiple sensors with different sampling times. Simulation results show proposed algorithm is advantageous in terms of accuracy, speed, and versatility.

  • In this paper we propose a sensor fusion method for the navigation algorithm which can be used to estimate state vectors such as position and velocity for its motion control using multi-sensor output measurements. The output measurement we will use in estimating the state is a series of known multi-sensor asynchronous outputs with measurement noise. This paper investigates the Extended Kalman Filtering method to merge asynchronous heading, heading rate, velocity of DVL, and SSBL information to produce a single state vector. Different complexity of Kalman Filter, with. biases and measurement noise, are investigated with theoretically data from MOERI's SAUV. All levels of complexity of the Kalman Filters are shown to be much more close and smooth to real trajectories then the basic underwater acoustic navigation system commonly used aboard underwater vehicle.

  • The most Important thing in Sensor Network Design is a Energy Efficiency. Limited sources of Sensor Mote tan occur merging of Protocol. In this paper, we proposed Cross Layer Protocol for Energy Efficienty. The proposed protocol can increase the network life time using multi hop transmission. sensor network should use multi hop communication and small radius because radio in wireless communication is the most spendable thing in sensor network.

  • This study has been conducted to monitor the corrosion rate of cathodically protected structure and corrosion inhibited system using multi-line thin-film electrical resistance (TFER) sensor in various environments. The field test data of TFER sensor for the corrosion monitoring of cathodically protected underground pipeline in soil environments and of corrosion inhibited gas heaters were also presented. The sensor was found to be a powerful method to commit the sensitive pick-up of small corrosion rate which can be observed in the cathodically protected and corrosion inhibited systems.

  • We have fabricated a sensor system for on-line monitoring the oxygen permeability and diffusivity of six different polymer films using the miniaturized 6 cathode(Ag)-single anode(Ag/AgCl) type hexagonal oxygen electrode. This system consists of multiple input front-end electronics, signal conditioning circuit using the embedded microcontroller 80C196KC, PC interface circuit and PC with the OS for microcontroller and the operating program for this system. The digital low-[ass filter was programmed and the simulated filter characteristics were enough to eliminate the noise from sensor signal. According to the experimental results, the linearity coefficients of the output voltage to oxygen partial pressure for each sensor electrode of six cathode type oxygen sensor are 0.998, 0.997, 0.998, 0.997, 0.997, 0.997 respectively, and the response times are all within 4 minutes.

  • The main object of this work is the development of an intelligent multi-sensor integration and fusion model that uses fuzzy inference system. Sensor data from different types of sensors are integrated and fused together based on the confidence which is not typically used in traditional data fusion methods. The information is fed as input to a fuzzy inference system(FIS).   • Improvements in wireless sensor network (WSN) technology have resulted in a large number of applications. WSNs have been mainly used for monitoring applications, but they are also applicable to target tracking, health care, and monitoring with multimedia data. Nodes are generally deployed in environments where the exhausted batteries of sensor nodes are difficult to charge or replace. The primary goal of communication protocols in WSNs is to maximize energy efficiency in order to prolong network lifetime. In this paper, various medium access control (MAC) protocols for synchronous/asynchronous and single/multi-channel WSNs are investigated. Single-channel MAC protocols are categorized into synchronous and asynchronous approaches, and the advantages and disadvantages of each protocol are presented. The different features required in multi-channel WSNs compared to single-channel WSNs are also investigated, and surveys on multi-channel MAC protocols proposed for WSNs are provided. Then, existing broadcast schemes in such MAC protocols and efficient multi-hop broadcast protocols proposed for WSNs are provided. The limitations and challenges in many communication protocols according to this survey are pointed out, which will help future researches on the design of communication protocols for WSNs.
