복합소재를 사용한 직선모터용 경량이송테이블 개발 (Development of Lightweight Moving Table for Linear Motor using Composite Materials)

  • Linear motors are efficient mechanism that offers high speed and positioning accuracy. By eliminating mechanical transmission mechanisms, much higher speeds and greater acceleration can be achieved without backlash or excessive friction. However, an important disadvantage of linear motor system is its high power loss and heating up of motor and neighboring machine components on operation. Therefore, it is necessary to design moving table with high stiffness, high efficiency and light weight construction. This paper presents the development of moving table using composite material. In order to develop light weight construction of moving table, finite element analysis is performed to find best moving table construction and composite stacking sequence. NASTRAN and MINITAB were used as the optimizer. A prototype for the moving table using composite material was created.

  • As applying an active control technique to a pneumatic vibration isolation system, the settling time for the payload excitation could be remarkably reduced as well as the improvement of isolation performance for the ground vibration. Some previous researches were dealt with the settling time through the simulation or experiment but, the discussion on the simulation or experimental results including moving parts, such as a XY-stage, on the isolation table rarely exists. As considering the moving part, the dynamic model could be time varying system and in such a case the force imposed on pneumatic vibration isolation table could be described by inertial forces of moving parts according to Newton's 3rd law, the action and reaction law. In this paper, the simulation procedure of the 3-DOF active pneumatic vibration isolation system including moving parts by TDC(time delay control) technique is proposed and the effectiveness through simulation results are also shown.

모바일 응용에서 이동 객체의 궤적-기반 질의를 위한 색인 구조 (An Index Structure for Trajectory-based Query of Moving Objects in Mobile Applications)

  • 무선 통신 및 모바일 기술의 급속한 발전으로 인해 위치 기반 서비스 및 모바일 응용 서비스와 같은 이동 객체에 기반한 다양한 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하게 되었다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 모바일 응용에서 이동 객체에 대한 다양한 질의 중에서 특히 궤적-기반 질의에 대한 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 색인 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 색인 구조는 이동 객체의 궤적-기반 질의를 위해 제안되었던 기존의 TB-tree의 삽입 및 검색 성능의 효율성을 높이기 위해 연결테이블(LinkTable:L-Table)을 유지한다. L-Table은 선행 노드를 한번에 직접 접근하기 위해 이동 객체의 처음 세그먼트와 마지막 세그먼트가 저장된 단말 노드를 가리키는 포인터 정보와 디스크에서의 페이지를 가리키는 페이지 번호를 저장한다. 아울러 시스템의 가용메모리가 제약을 받는 경우에도 일정한 크기의 버퍼를 유지해 색인의 일부만을 메모리에 상주시킬 수 있도록 설계한다. 마지막으로 제안하는 색인 구조의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 실험 데이타를 이용해 성능 평가를 수행한 결과, 삽입 및 궤적-기반 질의 측면에서 기존의 색인 구조들에 비해 더 나은 성능을 보인다.

  • This paper presents an active position control of a moving table utilizing ER(electro-rheological) brake and ER clutch. A transformer oil-based ER fluid is composed and its Bingham properties are evaluated with respect to electric fields. The dynamics of the actuators : ER brake and ER clutch, are identified through experiments, and subsequently the governing equation of motion of the moving table system is formulated from the governing equation, a sliding mode controller is designed to achieve an accurate position control. Both simulation and experimental results and presented in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control methodology.

  • This paper presents two actuators for levitation using repulsions of permanent magnet and two magnetic levitation tables using the actuators. Here, one actuator for levitation consists of one fixed magnet and one moving magnet, and the other actuator consists of two fixed magnets and one moving magnet. The moving part of the magnetic levitation table contains the moving magnets. repulsive forces caused by the permanent magnets are linearized, and then the equation of motion of the moving part of the table is derived. Using the equation of motion, stability conditions of the moving part are deduced. The stability conditions are analyzed for positional relations of the moving magnets and the minimum number of active control required for stable system. As a result, in the each case of magnetic levitation tables, the requirements for stabilization are expressed by the positional relations and the number of the active controls.

  • The integrated environment for the fuzzy logic controller with the acceleration converter to improve the dynamic characteristic of a one-axis moving table is proposed in the paper. The two inputs of the fuzzy logic controller are position error and velocity. The two inputs of the acceleration converter used to produce the acceleration input for the one-axis moving table are actual and setting rotational speeds. The proposed controller is implemented on a personal computer by using MATLAB and Visual Basic for a real time control via a motion control board.   • A patient table considering x-ray transparency, mechanical safety and compact multi-axis moving mechanism has been developed. The goal of medical imaging technology is to keep radiation exposure of patients during x-raying to a minimum. In order to obtain clear pictures at low dose, however, the x-ray table which supports the patient must be sufficiently permeable to radiation to allow good image resolution. The table top is made of low density foam for x-ray transparent effective area and structural aluminum plate to connect moving mechanism under the table, covered with thin carbon fiber. This sandwich construction is very rigid and lightweight, so the table top can handle relatively heavy load comparing to its cantilevered structure which is unavoidable as long as cooperate with C-arm radiography. To verify the design results finite element static analysis and experimental tests have been done. According to the verification the results well satisfy certification guide lines as a medical device.

이동 클립을 이용한 건축물 외장재의 구조적 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Performance of the Building Exterior Panel Using the Moving Clips)

  • A recent global trend in the increase of earthquake-related disasters has become so frequent as to cause various damages to a wide range of mid- to high-rise buildings. Particularly, more attention is being paid to the effect of horizontal load in high-rise buildings not only on the key structural elements of the structures, but also on the possibility of the secondary damages to them due to the failure of exterior panels, which are non-structural elements, but such damages are difficult to cope with as they may be caused by unexpected changes. The present study examined exterior panels using moving clips to prevent such secondary damages on the non-structural elements and analyzed the structural performance of these exterior panels through the finite element analysis and the shaking table test. The analysis results showed that the exterior panels using moving clips satisfied the structural performance against the allowable story drift of KBC2009 and the safety of the exterior panels was verified by the shake table test.

성능개선을 위한 룩업테이블 하이브리드 퍼지제어 시스템 (Hybrid Fuzzy Control Systems with Look-Up Table for Good Performance)

  • I propose a hybrid fuzzy controller with a look-up table to improve the performance of the FARMA(Fuzzy Auto-regressive Moving Average) fuzzy controller. The hybrid structure of the proposed method is composed of a fuzzy controller with a look-up table of the PD type and the FARMA fuzzy controller. The proposed method improves poor performance due to the lack of I/O data to calculate predictive output and shows robust performance over the FARMA fuzzy controller when a incorrect Dmax value is selected by trial and error. I executed some computer simulations on the regulation problem of an inverted pendulum system and compared the results with those of the FARMA fuzzy controller.

  • This paper describes a new approach to Internet host mobility. We argue that local mobility, the performance of existing mobile host protocol can be significantly improved. It proposes Fast Moving Detection scheme that based on neighbor AP channel information and moving detection table. And, it composes Local Area Clustering Path (LACP) domain that collected in AP's channel information and MN interface information. It stored the roaming table to include channel information and moving detection. Those which use the proposal scheme will need to put LACP information into the beacon or probe frame. Each AP uses scheme to inform available channel information to MN. From the simulation result, we show that the proposed scheme is advantageous over the legacy schemes in terms of the burst blocking probability and the link utilization.
