The Bollinger Band indicating the current price position in the recent price action range is obtained by adding/substracting the simple standard deviation (SSD) to/from the simple moving average (SMA). In this paper, we first compare the characteristics of the SMA and the exponential moving average (EMA) in the operator's point of view. A basic equation is obtained between the interval length N of the SMA operator and the weighting factor ${\rho}$ of the EMA operator, that makes the centers of the 1st order momentums of each operator impulse respoinse identical. For equivalent N and ${\rho}$, frequency response examples are obtained and compared by using the discrete time Fourier transform. Based on observation that the SMA operator reacts more excessively than the EMA operator, we propose a novel exponential standard deviation (ESD) band centered at the EMA and derive an auto recursive formula for the proposed ESD band. Practical examples for the ESD band show that it has a smoother bound on the price action range than the Bollinger Band. Comparisons are also made for the gap corrected chart to show the advantageous feature of the ESD band even in the case of gap occurrence. Trading techniques developed for the Bollinger Band can be straight forwardly applied to those for the ESD band.
On the study of the characteristics and life cycle of mesoscale convective band in type of airmass that occurred in the Honam area from June to September for only 4 years in the period of 2009~2012, 10 examples based on the amount of rainfall with AWS 24 hours/60 minutes rainfalls, Mt. Osung radar 1.5 km CAPPI/X-SECT images and KLAPS data for convective band with heavy rainfall event were selected. There were analyzed and classified by using the convective band with heavy rainfall occurred along the convergence line of sea wind in the form of individual multi-cellular cell and moving direction of convective band appeared in a variety of patterns; toward southwestern (2 cases), northeastern (4 cases), congesting (2 cases), and changing its moving direction (2 cases). The case study dated of the 17th Aug. 2012 was chosen and implemented by sequentially different evolution of its shape along the convergence line of sea wind cell and moving direction of convective band as equivalent potential temperatures at the lower layer have increased to the upper layer 500 hPa, that the individual cells were developed vertically and horizontally through their merger, but owing to divergence caused by weakened rainfall and descending air current, the growth of new cell was inhibited resulting in dissipation of convective cells.

Conventionally, when we need to know about the dynamic characteristics of motors, the moving band method has been the first considerable technique. In this paper, we have investigated the moving material method that moves the property of the material in moving area elements of BLDC motors, instead of moving mesh elements of the rotor. From this method, we can reduce the demanded HDD memory for FEM analysis and the calculation time with same results.
Faults of rotating parts of a train normally generate unexpected frequency band or impulsive sound[1] which has a period when it moves with a constant speed. The former can be detected by the moving frame acoustic holography method, which visualizes sound field that is generated by a moving and emitting pure tone or band limited noise source. We have attempted to apply the method to the latter case: the periodic impulsive sound which generate different signal compared with what can be measured by the band limited noise. The signal to noise ratio which determines the success of early fault detection must also be studied with the impulsive and moving signal. This research shows how the problems related with these issues can be resolved. The main idea is that periodic impulsive signal can be expressed by infinite set of discrete pure tones. This enables us to obtain lots of holograms that visualize periodic impulsive sound field including noise by using the moving frame acoustic holography method. Therefore holograms can be averaged to improve the signal to noise ratio until having reliable information that exhibits where the impulsive sources are. Theory and experiment by using the miniature vehicle are described [Work supported by BK21 & KRRI].

In this paper, beam forming using moving least squares method (MLSM) is studied. In the previous research, the least squares method (LSM), one of the data interpolation methods, was used to determine the desired beam pattern and obtain a beam pattern that minimizes the square of the error with the desired beam pattern. However, LSM has a disadvantage in that the beam pattern can not be formed to satisfy the exact steering angle of the desired beam pattern and the peak sidelobe level (PSLL) condition. To overcome this drawback, MLSM is used for beam forming. In order to verify, the proposed method is applied in beam forming of Bezier platform array antenna which is one of conformal array antenna platform.
The moving least square (MLS) basis is implemented for the real-space band-structure calculation of 2D photonic crystals. The value-periodic MLS shape function is thus used in order to represent the periodicity of crystal lattice. Any periodic function can properly be reproduced using this shape function. Matrix eigenequations, derived from the macroscopic Maxwell equations, are then solved to obtain photonic band structures. Through numerical examples of several lattice structures, the MLS-based method is proved to be a promising scheme for predicting band gaps of photonic crystals.

Human renal dipeptidase (RDPase) was purified from surgically removed kdneys of renal stone aptients by affinity chromatography using its specific inhibitor, cilastain, as the ligand. The partial purified RDPase of 6 mg exhivited specific activity of 99.4 unit/mg with 2, 029 fold purification. it was composed of a slow moving major band (96%) and a fast moving minor band (4%). The minor band was not a contaminant as it showed a dipeptidase-specific activity. The kinetic parameters determined with glycyldehydrophenylalanine (Gdp) as synthetic substrate were Vmax, $322.6\;\mu{mol/min/mg}$ and km, 0.120 mM. This experiment provided biochemical evidences that sugically removed, nonfunctional kidneys in respect of glomerular filtration still retained high activity of renal dipeptidase.
In our contribution, the new idea of parking/moving discrimination is proposed by using Three Line Scanner Imagery. The framework of our study consists of three main stages: preprocessing, vehicle detection and parking/moving detection respectively. First two stages of framework have been done in our previous work. Parking/ Moving Discrimination algorithm have been developed by using generic vehicle characteristics and some principle of photogrammetry. By using detected vehicles from our previous work, stopping/moving vehicles are able to discriminate. Moving vehicle is detected by detecting generic moving vehicle in TLS, inter-band gap. Stopping vehicle is verified by 3 dimensional viewing of Stereoscopic measurement. Finally, the conceptual framework has been done and the result will been realized soon.
This paper proposes an architecture of channel estimation for multi-band OFDM UWB systems presented to IEEE 802.15.3a by Multi-band OFDM alliance(MBOA). The multi-band OFDM (MB-OFDM) systems should have channel estimation for compensation of signal distortion by multi-band channel. The moving-averaging estimation algorithm and multi-band equalization architecture for MB-OFDM UWB systems proposed in this paper was verified by the simulation. Simulation results show that MB-OFDM system with the proposed architecture have the performance improved by about 3.4 dB compared to system with no channel estimation in 0.1$\pi$ phase-rotated channel.

Multimedia service via satellite Is supported voice, data, Image and video signals. The representation case model of satellite multimedia are satellite TV. satellite Internet. In the early 1990s, satellite communication and broad casting services successfully expanded form C/Ku band to Ka band. The benefits of operation at Ka-band are greater bandwidth available to accommodate the increased demand for high-speed Information exchange. By the early years of the 21s1 century, millions of households worldwide with dual Ku / Ka-band dishes Satellite multimedia systems receive hundreds of TV channels, originating from around the world, and delivering entertainment, information and education. Many Ku-band satellites have been ordered, but few Ka-band systems are moving into production. So Ka-band systems are characterized that low-cost access to low and high peed, two-way voice, data, and video communications.
